  • Is there a way to look up the Publishers URL using the linkshare.com API

    I'm able to retrieve the URL of a publisher only if their URL is in the title or the description using regular expression in linkshare's coupon API but in doing so, that leaves me with a lot of publishers not having a reference to their website which I need for the type of site that I am building. I was wondering if anyone else knows a way to reference the publishers URL preferably by their publisher ID or some other way?

  • python copytree with negated ignore pattern

    I'm trying to use python to copy a tree of files/directories. is it possible to use copytree to copy everything that ends in foo? There is an ignore_patterns patterns function, can I give it a negated regular expression? Are they supported in python? eg. copytree(src, dest, False, ignore_pattern('!*.foo')) Where ! means NOT anything that ends in foo. thanks.

    Given the following text: This is!!xa simple string!xpattern I would like to get a regexp that matches the !x that's between "string" and "pattern" but not !!xa that's between "is" and "a". This regexp is to be used inside a string split(). I have tried several combinations but I cannot get a regexp that meets my needs.     If I open SSMS on my client machine, connect to our SQL server, and try and open a maintenance plan on there, I get this error: TITLE: Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio Could not load file or assembly 'msddsp, Version=9.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.   • Ethernet switch capacity question

    We're looking at hooking up 48 small embedded systems with 10/100 Ethernet ports to an Ethernet switch and then have that switch talk to a server upstream via a faster connection. I have a couple of questions about that scenario: What kind of upstream connection is best (fiber, other?) Would it be reasonable to download 1GB/hour from each of the 48 systems concurrently?   • Does anyone own a compaq 610? Fan Issues.

    Hi, I've just purchased 2 HP compaq 610s and both have the same problem, that the fan is constantly on and the base is fairly hot. HP assures me that this is unusual and that I should return them as DOA. Becasue both laptops have this issue, I think that it may be a design flaw rather than a one off problem. Can any 610 owners comment? Is their fan constantly on too?

As in the previous versions, the passwords were not encrypted, then if i had to design some tools to manage the hosting accounts, i just picked up the cleartext passwords from the Database. but as now the passwords are encrypted, is there any way i can decrypt the passwords? through API or any other way so that i can integrate my php based hosting management with plesk 11?

  • Is Displayport preferable to DVI for monitor connections?

    I'm currently running a single Dell 24" (2408WFP) screen, but am considering adding a second. The problem I've got is that I'm currently using the DVI connector to the on board graphics, so will need to purchase a new graphics card. The 2408WFP also has HDMI and DisplayPort inputs, so I was wondering if DisplayPort is worth considering at present over DVI? On the same subject, does anyone actually manufacture reasonably priced DisplayPort cards - all I've managed to find seem to very expensive workstation cards aimed at financial/design/simulation markets.
