  • Spring Security Issue: Controller, Anonymous Requests...

    Hey guys, I have an app that uses Spring security and BlazeDS. Flex 3.2 is used for the client app. Generally client app makes service calls using RemoteObjects. However, for certain cases client app is sending a request to a URL. We're using Annotated Controllers for URL mapping.   • Can the public ssh key from my local machine be used to access two different users on a remote serve

    I have an new ubuntu (hardy 8.04) server, it has two users, User1 and User2. User1 is listed in sudoers. I appended my public ssh key (my local machine's public key local/Users/nick/.ssh/id_rsa.pub) to authorized_keys in remote_server/home/user1/.ssh/authorized_keys, changed the permissions on user1/.ssh/ to 700 and user1/.ssh/authorized_keys to 600 and both file and folder are owned my User1. Then added I User1 to sshd_config (AllowUsers User1). This works and I can login into User1 debug1: Offering public key: /Users/nick/.ssh/id_rsa debug1: Server accepts key: pkalg ssh-rsa blen 277 debug1: Authentication succeeded (publickey). debug1: channel 0: new [client-session] debug1: Entering interactive session. Last login: Mon Mar 15 09:51:01 2010 from ..*.* I then copied the authorized_keys file remote_server/home/user1/.ssh/authorized_keys to remote_server/home/user2/.shh/authorized_keys and changed the permissions and ownership and added User2 to AllowUsers in sshd_config (AllowUsers User1 User2). Now when I try to login to User2 it will not authenticate the same public key. debug1: Offering public key: /Users/nick/.ssh/id_rsa debug1: Authentications that can continue: publickey debug1: Trying private key: /Users/nick/.ssh/identity debug1: Trying private key: /Users/nick/.ssh/id_dsa debug1: No more authentication methods to try.     I am building my portfolio website simply using HTML, Flash, and the Mootools Javascript framework. I have decided to implement a theme changing feature using Javascript and cookies. When the user clicks on the "Change Theme" link, a mediaboxAdvanced lightbox appears, containing a real-time form which allows you to change the theme on the portfolio. Here's the code for the form: <div id="mb_inline" style="display: none; margin:15px;"> <h3>Change Your Theme</h3> <form> <fieldset> <select id="background_color" name="background_color"> <option value="#dcf589">Original</option> <option value="#000FFF">Blue</option> <option value="#00FF00">Green</option> </select> </fieldset> </form> </div> I know, there is no submit button, but as soon as something is changed in that form, the following Mootools code happens: var themeChanger = new Class( { pageBody : null, themeOptions : null, initialize: function() { this.pageBody = $(document.body); this.themeOptions = $('background_color'); this.themeOptions.addEvent('change', this.change_theme.bindWithEvent(this)); }, change_theme: function(event) { alert("Hello"); } }); window.addEvent('domready', function() { var themeChanger_class = new themeChanger(); }); Now this is only a test function, which should be triggered when the dropdown menu changes.   • External XMPP component - Anyone know a Tutorial or Open Source Example please?

    Hi All, I want to run an XMPP server (Openfire) and register an external component to handle the messages it will recieve (using the Whack library). The external component will run my game logic and I will be using XMPP to send player moves to the server and status updates in the other direction. The bonus with XMPP is that we get built in chat for free. The trouble is, although Ignite look fairly established, I can't find a tutorial on how to write, register and debug an External XMPP component written with Whack, there are very few in general for that matter. I am not invested in either the server implementation or the External Component library, java is just my language of choice. If I was to move to Erlang or Scala or something it would have to be a very simple in that language. A single tutorial or example would go a long way here, I just need an basic External XMPP component pretty please! Kind regards, Gavin

  • How do I make a jQuery POST function open the new page?

    I know that a submit button in HTML can submit a form which opens the target page, but how do I cause a jQuery ajax call POST information to a new page and display the new page. I am submitting information that is gathered by clicking elements (which toggle a new class) and then all items with this new class are added to an array and POSTed to a new page. (ie, a person that has been released has a previous booking modified due to incorrect information). There should not be locking contention between Person and Booking whenever a Booking needs to be updated. One other business requirement is that a Booking can never occur for a Person more than once at a time. Due to this, I'm concerned about querying the query database on the read side as there could potentially be some inconsistency there (due to using CQRS and having an eventually consistent read database). Should the aggregate roots be allowed to query the event-sourced backing store for objects (lazy-loading them as needed)? Are there any other avenues of implementation that would make more sense?

    I have 5 links that are on the same form but I would like them all to reference the same AJAX modalpopup extender. I am basically showing a panel with the same view layout with just different data depending on which link is pressed, showing different match scores from games. The only way I can get it to work is have 5 panels with unique names and each link references its own panel. Can I get all the links to call one panel? Thanks

  • What can i do about an ObjectDisposedException in a dll i cannot access?

    Hey guys, I'm using a dll to monitor calls (Atapi.dll). Sometimes when events occur, there's an ObjectDisposedException. This seems to be random, i don't know what causes it. I can't debug it and i don't have the source code to it. The events that cause the exception are call events (conencting calls) through Tapi 2.0. It does not causes my app to crash. If i press on the continue button of the window visual studio is generating, the app continues ignoring the exception, but i'd rather not see it happening. I tried catching all code (not much) i have writting, but nothing catches it, and it also says i cannot debug it, because it is thrown in the dll. Does anyone have any idea how to solve or get pass this obstacle? Thanks in advance.

Also the ListView.Items doesn't help, because that (of course) contains my bound business objects and no ListViewItems. Neither does myList.ItemContainerGenerator.ContainerFromItem(item), which also returns null.

On a event of drag and drop a node from c1 to c2, a onDndDrop event is fired and the subscribe method defined in line10-13 is invoked. I expected that newly copied node appears in the nodes (for example) at line 08. But this is not true. When dojoUnique1 is target of drag and drop, nodes at line 08 contains only dojoUnique1. I want to modify some attributes of newly copied nodes on the event of onDndDrop. Please let me know how such a thing is realized.

    I have a simple search php script, within that script there is some html and javascript to make a search input field and a button. What i am trying to do is when someone enters a search, and presses submit, thickbox opens, and the results will be displayed in the thickbox. What i have so far is the search field and button, when i press submit, it briefly shows the thickbox, and than is overloaded by the result page, but than with no search results.   • Should I Prefer a Closed or Open List<> System?

    Hey guys, I've got a class in my project that stores a List< of elements. I'm trying to figure out whether I should allow the user to add to that List directly (e.g. Calling the native add/remove methods) or lock it down by declaring the List private and only allowing a handful of methods I choose to actually alter the List. It's a framework, so I'm trying to design it as robustly as possible, but I also want to keep it as simple and error-free as possible. What's the best practice in this situation? Thanks, Tyler
