Need help converting apache .htaccess code to lighttpd url_rewrite code

Hi All, I have this custom written CMS built on XAMPP. I'm trying to test the same on lighttpd to benchmark the so-called performance gains... but am stuck at the rewrite rules. I use the default rewrite rules of WordPress in my .htaccess which hands all url parsing over to my script as long as there aren't any files or directories same as the URL structure. Here's the code: RewriteBase /somedir/ # Let the Script handle all pretty URLs RewriteCond %{SCRIPT_FILENAME} !-d RewriteCond %{SCRIPT_FILENAME} !-f RewriteRule .* index.php [L] Can anyone please help me translate the same to the lighttpd format? I could only (partially) figure out the last line myself going through the lighty docs ... i.e. url.rewrite-once = ( ".*" => "index.php" ) But that of course won't suffice... Another jquery issue... I have tried this several times using "class" and "id" elements and I can not get it right. I am hoping the brains on stackoverflow can help! The problem that I am having is when I open the page all elments are closed. When I click on one link all links open. Django and ajax image file upload errors and csrf

I tried out Alex Kuhl's ajax script to upload images to Django 1.4. My first question is why I'm getting an empty page with firebug telling me I have two errors: fileuploader.js (line 4): syntax error <!DOCTYPE html> In my template html: qq is not defined var uploader = new qq.FileUploader( { Here is my entire html file for it: http://pastebin.com/NjbV5gMn This post suggests that either some script has 404'd or the src attribute is empty, which would cause the doctype error. But that doesn't seem to be the case here. As for why qq is not defined, I'm not sure what is wrong. Django can clearly find the fileuploader.js just fine from my static folder. My second question is why the ajax code uses {{ csrf_token }} instead of {% csrf_token %}. ASP.NET MVC 2 client side validation not working for Html.ValidationMessage()?

I'm trying to get a very simple client side validation example to work in ASP.NET MVC 2. I'm using data annotations to set a required property "Surname". When I use the Html.ValidationMessageFor(x = x.Surname) the correct client side validation script is written to the page. But when I use Html.ValidationMessage("Surname") the client side validation is not rendered out until after the page has been posted. Client side validation only starts working after a form post! I can see that the script is updated in the page after a form post. There appears to be a bug in Html.ValidationMessage()?

Matching .NET References to Namespaces

This seems confusing to me - im creating a class library, and adding all the necessary references for the source files contained in it. Now, off the bat, there were over 300 compiler errors complaining about missing namespaces. The library will now compile after i just added all of the System.* references, however this is obviously not the best way. I.e. if a classes needs using System.Web.Script;, there is no System.Web.Script reference, how would i find out which one of these references contained it? System.Web didnt.

Scripts help FIND command via atime output to multiple files

here is a script I have wrote that I need help with. in the script I do a find for any file that has not been access for over 30 days, 60, 90, 180, 270 & 365 days. This works just fine. however, this takes a few days just to finish the 30 day portion. it is scanning a NAS. jQuery: List expands on page load

I've been looking for something very simple: How to make a side navigation expand with animation on page load, but all the tutorial websites I usually go to don't seem to have it. CoreFoundation Lite on Linux and Android

I would like to use Apple's CoreFoundation library on linux and android. The source code is available here, but there is very little documentation on how to build it on Linux. As far as I could figure out, building is done through a script called BuildCFLite. I grepped for DEPLOYMENT_TARGET ./CFUtilities.c:#if DEPLOYMENT_TARGET_MACOSX || DEPLOYMENT_TARGET_EMBEDDED || DEPLOYMENT_TARGET_LINUX || DEPLOYMENT_TARGET_FREEBSD and Linux seems to be supported at first site by setting -DDEPLOYMENT_TARGET_LINUX, but some of the compiler flags in that script are not available on linux, so when I try to build I get an error. Does anybody have experience building the latest version of CoreFoundation for Linux? Also what are the dependencies for building CoreFoundation? Would it be feasible to use it in the Android NDK?

Multiple infowindows - tearing my hair out

Ok, I'll admit I'm nowhere near the best programmer on the planet - and I'm used to the answer staring me right in the face but not making sense of it. Problem I need to display multiple markers on a map, each with their own infowindow. I have created the individual markers without a problem, but don't know how to create the infowindows for each. Steps so far I am generating a map using the V3 API within an ASP-based website, with markers being created from a set of DB records. The markers are created by looping through a rs and defining a marker() with the relevant variables: var myLatlng = new google.maps.LatLng(lat,long); var marker = new google.maps.Marker({ map: map, position: myLatlng, title: 'locationname', icon: 'http://google-maps-icons.googlecode.com/files/park.png' }); This is creating all the relevant markers in their correct locations. What I need to do now, and am not sure of how to achieve is give each of them their own unique infowindow which I can use to display information and links relevant to that marker. My python script uses subprocess to call a linux utility that is very noisy. I want to store all of the output to a log file, but only show some of it to the user. I thought the following would work, but the output does show up in my application until the utility has produced a significant amount of output. #fake_utility.py, just generates lots of output over time import time i = 0 while True: print hex(i)*512 i += 1 time.sleep(0.5) #filters output import subprocess proc = subprocess.Popen(['python','fake_utility.py'],stdout.subprocess.PIPE) for line in proc.stdout: #the real code does filtering here print "test:", line.rstrip() The behavior I really want is for the filter script to print each line as it is received from the subprocess. Sorta like what tee does but with python code. What am I missing? Is this even possible?

The final step is actually installing Wordpress, which usually involves pointing your browser to install.php and filling out a form in the GUI. ASP.NET 4.5 Bundling in Debug Mode - Stale Resources

Is there any way we can make the ASP.NET 4.5 Bundling functionality generate GUID's as part of the querystring when running in debug mode (e.g bundling turned OFF). The problem is when developing locally, the scripts/CSS files are generated like this: <script type="text/javascript" src="/Content/Scripts/myscript.js" /> So if i change that file, i need to do a hard-refresh (sometimes a few times) to get the file to be picked up by the browser - annoying. Is there any way we can make it render out like this: <script type="text/javascript" src="/Content/Scripts/myscript.js?v=x" /> Where x is a GUID (e.g always unique). Ideas? I'm on ASP.NET MVC 4.

Kill a Perl system call after a timeout

I've got a Perl script I'm using for running a file processing tool which is started using backticks. The problem is that occasionally the tool hangs and It needs to be killed in order for the rest of the files to be processed. Whats the best way best way to apply a timeout after which the parent script will kill the hung process? At the moment I'm using: foreach $file (@FILES) { $runResult = `mytool $file >> $file.log`; } But when mytool hangs after n seconds I'd like to be able to kill it and continue to the next file.

I'm trying to write a script the generates a template file for Pashua (a perl script for creating GUI on osx) I want to crate an instance for each item in the array, so the ideal output would be: AB1.type = openbrowser AB1.label = Choose a master playlist file AB1.width=310 AB1.tooltip = Blabla filesystem browser AB2.type = openbrowser AB2.label = Choose a master playlist file AB2.width=310 AB2.tooltip = Blabla filesystem browser ...and so on for the rest of the array: What I am using to write to the text file at the moment is: count=1 saveIFS="$IFS" IFS=$'\n' array=($(<TEST.txt)) IFS="$saveIFS" for i in "${array[@]}"; do declare AD$count="$i"; ((count++)); done for i in "${array[@]}"; do echo "AD$count".type = openbrowser "AD$count".label = Choose a master playlist file \n "AD$count".width=310 \n "AD$count".tooltip = Blabla filesystem browser \n" >> long.txt; done However \n doesn't produce a newline in the text file, and I am pretty sure there is a alot nicer way todo this, ideas?

Parsing WordPress XML, slash:comments syntax?

This is really just a syntax question. I have a PHP script that parses my WordPress feed and returns the latest posts. I also want my script to parse the # of comments, but the WordPress feed XML object for number of comments has a colon in it (slash:comments). It causes the following error: Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ':' in ... on line ... I have tried each of the following without luck: $xml->slash:comments $comments = 'slash:comments' $xml->$comments $xml->slash.':'.comments $xml->{slash:comments} $xml->{'slash:comments'} How do I parse an object with a colon?

javascript too much recursion?

Hi, I'm trying to make a script that automatically starts uploading after the data has been enter in the database(I need the autoId that the database makes to upload the file). How can I get a file's upload size using simple Javascript?

I have upload file functionality on one of the page. I check for the extension of the file using JavaScript. Now i want to restrict the user from uploading file greater than 1 MB. Is there any way i can check the file upload size using JavaScript.
