  Hi guys, I've got this code mysqli_query ( $userdatabase, 'CREATE TABLE `user_'.$emailreg.'` ( ID int NOT NULL AUTO_INCREMENT PRIMARY KEY, IP varchar(10), FLD1 varchar(20), FLD2 varchar(40), FLD3 varchar(25), FLD4 varchar(25), FLD5 varchar(25) )' ); echo ( mysqli_error ($userdatabase) ); that works fine on my localhost, but when I upload it to the server, it starts giving me a "Incorrect table name '[email protected]'" error. any idea?   I have a .Net 1.1 app that must be upgraded to 2.0. The application encrypts passwords in the database using MD5CryptoServiceProvider. After I upgraded to 2.0, the MD5 value was different. In the machine.config, the machinekey was set to autogenerate. Is there a way to retrieve this key?

  I have a many-to-many relationship between Issues and Scopes in my EF Context. In ASP.NET MVC, I bring up an Edit form that allows the user to edit a particular Issue. At the bottom of the form, is a list of checkboxes that allow them to select which scopes apply to this issue. When editing an issue, it likely will always have some Scopes associated with it already--these boxes will be checked already. However, the user has the opportunity to check more scopes or remove some of the currently checked scopes. My code looked something like this to save just the Issue: using (var edmx = new MayflyEntities()) { Issue issue = new Issue { IssueID = id, TSColumn = formIssue.TSColumn }; edmx.Issues.Attach(issue); UpdateModel(issue); if (ModelState.IsValid) { //if (edmx.SaveChanges() != 1) throw new Exception("Unknown error. • VS 2008 hangs(slow) when I select "File > Open > Web Site..."

  When I try to select the following "File Open Web Site" or use the shortcut key "Shift + Alt + O" (which does the same), Visual Studio 2008 hangs with the loading mouse icon for about 8-10 seconds then the file. But if I do "File Open Project/Solution.." or "File Open File..." the explorer window comes up in under a second, instantly most times.   I would like to know from Java code if the machine that I'm on is running active directory or that it has active directory installed (e.g. service may be stopped). Is there a reliable registry key to inspect? This is specifically for Windows 2008. I found info on the web that mentions HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MSDTC\Security\DomainControllerState, but that value is 0 on my domain controller as well as on my normal windows 7 machine!?

I would like to pass a string to the Save method and have it gzip the string and upload it to Amazon S3 without ever being written to disk. The current method inefficiently reads/writes to disk in between.
