• Sharing variables between mxml components

  I have several mxml components in an app, all of which need the same variable called genericX. I've included that variable in the main mxml and made it public [Bindable] public var genericX:Number = 102; but I still can't access it from other mxml components. If I try to do this for example, it doesn't recognize the variable. <s:Button x="{genericX}" label="Click" />

• Page Refresh Returns to previous page

  I am using server.transfer to redirect from one to another page... lets say when i click on button1 of page1 i redirects to page2 using server.transfer but than when i refresh that page2 , it get postback and redirects me page1 again.. please tell me where i am doing wrong.? • MVC noob - changing part of URL in a link

  Hi, I have a site that supports localization. I would like to be able to switch between english and french. Let say the user is currently at URL: http://www.mysite.com/en/Home I would like to redirect to: http://www.mysite.com/fr/Home If the user click on a "French" link how to change the URL part to "fr" yet not change the "Home" part of the URL (basically I want preserve the current location of the user) Hope my question makes sense! I'm probably missing something very basic?
