Apache displays error page half way through PHP page execution

I've just installed Zend Server Community Edition on a Windows Server 2003 box, however there's a bit of a problem with the display of a lot of our PHP pages. The code has previously running under the same version of PHP (5.3) on IIS without any issues. By the looks of things, Apache (installed as part of Zend Server) is erroring out during the rendering of the page when it comes across something it doesn't like in the PHP. Going through the code, I've been able to get past some of the problems by removing the error suppression operator (@) from function calls and by changing the format of some includes. However, I can't do this for the whole site! Weirdly, the error code is reported as "200 OK". Apache local verses external (domain)

I have an Apache server running on Ubuntu server 10, using Passenger for Ruby on Rails. I have configured my site under the sites-enabled directory of Apache and can hit the server with an internal IP address (192.168.X.X) and the site comes back as expected. However, whenever I try to hit the site externally, either through the domain name or the IP address tied to the domain name, the site will not come back. I have a router in the middle with a static IP address, with Port Forwarding turned on (forwarding 80/443) to the server and I'm quite confident the issue isn't there. In fact, I even DMZed to the Ubuntu Server just to make sure. Also, all router firewall options have been turned off. So here is the question... Is there something else I have to do with Ubuntu server to allow externally requested port 80 traffic? Otherwise, is there some settings that need to be set in Apache to allow domain or external IP address port 80 traffic through? I'm pretty new to Apache, so, please take it a bit easy on me :-) Thank you for your responses. -Jessy Houle

Default sending all mails from the one account on Outlook 2007

I have two email accounts configured on my outlook 2007. One account is connecting to my exchange server which is the default I have another account connecting to my gmail. I want to by default send or reply all the emails that I receive on my gmail account through my exchange server account only. When I try replying to the email that I receive from the gmail account it gets defaulted to the same (gmail account). I need to manually change it to exchange server account. I want that to be changed to exchange server account by default for all the mails that I send or reply to. I don't want to do the manual process mentioned below in steps: Step 1: In the message window, click Account. Step 2: Click the account that you want to use. Is there a way to set the exchange server account for sending and replying to all emails on outlook irrespective of the number of accounts that I have on outlook. I have my outlook installed on a windows 2003 server.

2008R2 Standard and Hyper-V and Ram Usage (Usable vs Available)

A new server was purchased for our development team to start utilizing the full feature set of TFS, namely Lab Management. Because of the need for Lab Management we bought a fairly beefy machine to handle this task and to also act as a build machine. I have been tasked to setup additional features TFS on this machine starting out with a build controller and eventually going towards a full out Lab Management setup using Hyper-V. My question: Upon initially logging I noticed that Windows is registering 64gb but only 32gb available. I know this is a limitation because of licencing since only Standard Edition is installed. Since Hyper-V is another layer that handles the virtualization of guest OS's is Hyper-V able to access this memory? Or is Hyper-V memory usage also limited by 2008 R2 Standard? If Hyper-V can somehow access this memory, is this how it should be setup? Or should the host 2008R2 Standard be upgraded to Enterprise so the Host can utilize the full 64gb? Before I go hog wild and using TFS I wanted to ask some experts so I don't need to reinstall the OS down the road to utilize the additional 32gb. Thanks for any help or links you can share.

SMO restore of SQL database doesn't overwrite

I'm trying to restore a database from a backup file using SMO. If the database does not already exist then it works fine. However, if the database already exists then I get no errors, but the database is not overwritten. The "restore" process still takes just as long, so it looks like it's working and doing a restore, but in the end the database has not changed. I'm doing this in Powershell using SMO. The code is a bit long, but I've included it below. You'll notice that I do set $restore.ReplaceDatabase = $true. Also, I use a try-catch block and report on any errors (I hope), but none are returned. Any obvious mistakes? Is it possible that I'm not reporting some error and it's being hidden from me? Single TCP-CLOSE_WAIT connection brings down application till restart

Recently found a behaviour where my application had a connection in TCP Close_wait state till the app was restarted (after about 5 hours). But during this period the SUnreclaim space was also increasing constantly and went down on restart. The application is runnning on a rhel5 os and Im not very familiar with the memory management system. Would appreciate if someone clould tell me what extactly is the Ureclaim space and why it is increasing in sync with the close_wait.

I’m trying to connect over internet to my home workstation which has Windows Server 2008 R2 (Web Edition) installed from my PC at work (Windows 7 installed on it) via Remote Desktop. I configure the workstation to accept remote desktop and I can connect to it from my laptop if I’m within same Home LAN but I can’t establish the connection from my PC at work . My question is: Is possible to connect to my workstation over internet using remote desktop? Is there any step by step resource the setup this feature?

I am trying to create a RTMP server to stream video files from my Linux server to the internet/network. I have been able to successfully use ffmpeg to stream to other RTMP servers like youtube, but how do I go about hosting my own on my RTMP server locally? I have tried looking into ffserver, but is this what I need to create a local RTMP server? If so could someone give me basic syntax or examples to get it working? Thanks for any information.

Windows 7 NNTP Server

I am doing some development that requires some interaction with an NNTP server, however I don't want to develop against a live server for obvious reasons and am trying to get a local NNTP server setup for testing, but for the life of me I can't find any guides on setting one up in (preferably) Windows 7. Can anyone shed some light? I've found that in IIS 6 you were able to setup an NNTP server, but I unfortunately do not have a 2003 VM at my disposal, I'm stuck with either XP or Windows 7. Thanks

Installing Glassfish 3.1 on Ubuntu 10.10 Server

I've used the directions here to successfully install Glassfish 3.0.1 on an virtualized (VirtualBox and VMWare) Ubuntu 10.10 Server instance without any real difficulty not resolved by more closely following the directions. However when I try applying them to Glassfish 3.1, I seem to keep getting stuck at section 6. "Security configuration before first startup". In particular, there are some differences I noted: 1) There are two keys in the default keystore. The 's1as' key is still there, but another named 'glassfish-instance' is also there. When I saw this, I deleted and recreated them both along with a 'myAlias' key which I was going to use where needed. 2) When turning the security on it seems like part of the server thinks it's on, but others don't. For instances: $ /home/glassfish/bin/asadmin set server-config.network-config.protocols.protocol.admin-listener.security-enabled=true server-config.network-config.protocols.protocol.admin-listener.security-enabled=true Command set executed successfully. $ /home/glassfish/bin/asadmin get server-config.network-config.protocols.protocol.admin-listener.security-enabled server-config.network-config.protocols.protocol.admin-listener.security-enabled=true Command get executed successfully. $ /home/glassfish/bin/asadmin --secure list-jvm-options It appears that server [localhost:4848] does not accept secure connections.
