  • Apache Wicket exposes attributes

    - by Luke
    I just tried the Apache Wicket "Hello, world" application and I noticed that in the rendered HTML output, Wicket is exposing it's internal attributes. This is what the rendered HTML looks like in the 'view source' of the browser: <html> <body> <span wicket:id="message" id="message">Hello World!</span> </body> </html> How do I get rid of the wicket:id="message" attribute in the rendered HTML output?

  • Validation errors are visible when I access the page before I post the form

    - by Liado
    Hi, I have html validation using client side and server side validation. The problem is when I open the page the validation text is visible before I fill in the text box and post the form. What can I do the solve this issue? I'm using the following code: <script src="/Scripts/jquery-1.4.1.min.js" type="text/javascript"></script> <script src="/Scripts/jquery.validate.js" type="text/javascript"></script> <script src="/Scripts/MicrosoftMvcJQueryValidation.js" type="text/javascript"></script> <% Html.EnableClientValidation(); %> <% using (Html.BeginForm()) {%> <%=Html.TextBox("Email", null, new { style = "width:190px;Border:0px", maxsize = 190 })%> <%=Html.ValidationMessage("SingMeUp", "Invalid e-mail address.", new { @class = "Email_Validation_Error_Location_OverLoad", style = "float:left" })%>

  • UIWebView not evaluating javascript properly

    - by jammur
    I'm trying to run some javascript against a UIWebView but it's doesn't seem to be working. For example, here is a snippet of html I'm using to test: <html><body><h1>Hello World!</h1><p>It's me.</p></body></html> If I run the following javascript against it, the return value is 0, when it should be 1. var elements = document.getElementsByTagName("h1"); elements.length; Here's the objc code I'm using for the webview. 'parser' is a string containing the above javascript: [webView loadHTMLString:@"<html><body><h1>Hello World!</h1><p>It's me.</p></body></html>" baseURL:nil]; NSString *markupResult = [webView stringByEvaluatingJavaScriptFromString:parser];

  • C# WebClient - View source question

    - by Jim
    I'm using a C# WebClient to post login details to a page and read the all the results. The page I am trying to load includes flash (which, in the browser, translates into HTML). I'm guessing it's flash to avoid being picked up by search engines??? The flash I am interested in is just text (not an image/video) etc and when I "View Selection Source" in firefox I do actually see the text, within HTML, that I want to see. (Interestingly when I view the source for the whole page I do not see the text, within HTML, that I want to see. Could this be related?) Currently after I have posted my login details, and loaded the HTML back, I see the page which does NOT show the flash HTML (as if I had viewed source for the whole page). Thanks in advance, Jim PS: I should point out that the POST is actually working, my log in is successful.

  • Branching logic in an MVC view

    - by Alex Kilpatrick
    I find myself writing a lot of code in my views that looks like the code below. In this case, I want to add some explanatory HTML for a novice, and different HTML for an expert user. <% if (ViewData["novice"] != null ) { % some extra HTML for a novice <% } else { % some HTML for an expert <% } % This is presentation logic, so it makes sense that it is in a view vs the controller. However, it gets ugly really fast, especially when ReSharper wants to move all the braces around to make it even uglier (is there a way to turn that off for views?). My question is whether this is proper, or should I branch in the controller to two separate views? If I do two views, I will have a lot of duplicated HTML to maintain. Or should I do two separate views with a shared partial view of the stuff that is in common?

  • golang dynamically parsing files

    - by Brian Voelker
    For parsing files i have setup a variable for template.ParseFiles and i currently have to manually set each file. Two things: How would i be able to walk through a main folder and a multitude of subfolders and automatically add them to ParseFiles so i dont have to manually add each file individually? How would i be able to call a file with the same name in a subfolder because currently I get an error at runtime if i add same name file in ParseFiles. var templates = template.Must(template.ParseFiles( "index.html", // main file "subfolder/index.html" // subfolder with same filename errors on runtime "includes/header.html", "includes/footer.html", )) func main() { // Walk and ParseFiles filepath.Walk("files", func(path string, info os.FileInfo, err error) { if !info.IsDir() { // Add path to ParseFiles } return }) http.HandleFunc("/", home) http.ListenAndServe(":8080", nil) } func home(w http.ResponseWriter, r *http.Request) { render(w, "index.html") } func render(w http.ResponseWriter, tmpl string) { err := templates.ExecuteTemplate(w, tmpl, nil) if err != nil { http.Error(w, err.Error(), http.StatusInternalServerError) } }

  • update element in knockout template which was changed by 3td party library

    - by yakov
    I have 'div' element (recaptchaDiv) in knockout template which is not bound to any observable field: <div id="recaptchaDiv"></div> On the other hand, I update this 'div' by 3rd party library. In particular, this is google recaptcha. This is my code: Recaptcha.create("[my private key]", "recaptchaDiv", { theme: "clean", callback: Recaptcha.ToTest }); And it doesn't work (I see nothing). What I know: trying on FF console: $("#recaptchaDiv").html() - it shows the expected html code, I just can't see it in the browser What I tried: to move recaptchaDiv outside of the template and it works: I can see the captcha in the browser to bind recaptchaDiv on html property: in the template: <div id="recaptchaDiv" data-bind="html: recaptcha"></div> in the model: Recaptcha.create("[my private key]", "recaptchaDiv", { theme: "clean", callback: Recaptcha.ToTest }); recaptcha($("#recaptchaDiv").html()); and it doesn't work (replacing jquery on document.getElementById doesn't help) Any help will be very much appreciated!!! Thank you in advance.

  • rails contoller defaults to respond with application/xml in production

    - by Dave Paroulek
    I have a standard contacts_controller.rb with index action that responds as follows: respond_to do |format| format.html format.xml { render :xml => @contacts } end In development, it works as intended: when I browse to http://localhost:3000/contacts, I get an html response. But, when I start the app using capistrano on a remote ubuntu server and browse to the same url, I get a xml response? If I go to http://remote_host:8000/contacts.html, then I see the html response. If I comment out the format.xml { render :xml => @contacts }, then I see the desired html response. Pretty sure I'm missing something subtle about difference between rails development and production modes? Any ideas about what I'm overlooking? Thanks, - Dave

  • Jquery UI dialog initiation? Is there a way to bind it?

    - by Raja
    I am trying to bind the dialog initiation (which happens in document ready) to a live or delegate for a div. Something like this for click event: $("#divSelectedContacts").delegate("span", "hover", function () { $(this).toggleClass("strikeOut"); }); for this: $("#divContacts").dialog('destroy').dialog({ bgiframe: true, resizable: false, autoOpen: false, height: 600, width: 425, modal: true, overlay: { backgroundColor: '#000', opacity: 0.5 }, buttons: { Cancel: function () { //basically do nothing $(this).dialog("close"); }, 'Done': function () { //get all the selected ppl and store it in To //alert($("#divSelectedContacts").html()); $("#divTo").empty().html($("#divSelectedContacts").html()); $(this).dialog("close"); } } }); Is this possible to use delegate for this so that it is bound forever? The main problem is I dynamically load the html in one of the tabs and when I include the dialog script in the HTML then it creates multiple dialogs and does not work. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

  • htaccess not working as it should

    - by hsn
    well, ofcourse its not working, im still a n00b :) this is the code that i have : Options +FollowSymLinks RewriteEngine on RewriteRule (.*)\.css - [S=7] RewriteRule (.*)\.jpg - [S=6] RewriteRule ^gallery gallery.html [L] RewriteRule (.*)/(.*)/ index.html?page=$2 [L] RewriteRule (.*)/(.*) index.html?page=$2 [L] RewriteRule (.*)/ index.html?page=$1 [L] RewriteRule (.*) index.html?page=$1 [L,QSA] Now, this works fine, if i try localhost/abc but it wont work if i try localhost/abc/ also, when i try localhost/abc/def (or localhost/abc/def/ for that matter) the css file isnt being included properly. i get an error saying /abc/def/style.css does not exist. :( however, the code doesnt work if i remove the QSA flag from the last rule. this is the code that ive come up with after a lot of googling and reading SO. if anyone can help out i'll be extremely grateful. thanks!

  • Allowing pop-up's and downloads with flex

    - by ShadowVariable
    I'm building an flex app that is basically a wrapper for a few websites. One of them is a google docs website, and I'm trying to get flex to allow downloads or popups or something that will allow me to do it. In the result variable in the ajax call this script is present. In the page where the html gets inserted (#DepartmentsAction) the script has dissapeared. What am I doing wrong?

  • Javascript to detect where newly opened window came from

    - by teggy
    Let's say I have a page, http://mydomain.com/mypage.html, with a "Back to page" link. This link should take the user back to the page where they came from only if the previous page URL matches one of the following: http://mydomain.com/one.html, http://mydomain.com/two.html, and http://mydomain.com/three.html. Otherwise, it would take the user back to the homepage, http://mydomain.com. I would like the "Back to page" link to also take the user back to the homepage when http://mydomain.com/mypage.html is pasted onto the browser. How can i accomplish this with Javascript. Thanks!
