  • Scrollbar moves back after WM_VSCROLL

    - by user146780
I have a window with its own H and V scrolling. I'm handling the event like this: case WM_VSCROLL: SetScrollPos(hWnd, SB_VERT, (int)HIWORD(wParam), TRUE); break; all I want is for the position of the scroll bar to stay once I release my mouse but what it's doing is just going back to the top after. What am I doing wrong? Thanks

  • Changing a select input to a checkbox acting as an on/off toggle switch in Rails

    - by Ribena
    I have a set of 7 dropdown inputs allowing admins to say whether they are open or closed for business on a given day. I'd like that changed to 7 open/closed switches (presumably styled checkboxes?) but can't figure out how to do this! Here are the relevant bits of code I currently have (prior to any change): app/view/backend/inventory_pool/edit.html.haml - content_for :title, @inventory_pool = form_for [:backend, @inventory_pool], html: {name: "form"} do |f| .content - if is_admin? %a.button{:href => root_path}= _("Cancel") %button.button{:type => :submit}= _("Save %s") % _("Inventory Pool") %section %h2= _("Basic Information") .inner .field.text .key %h3= "#{_("Print Contracts")}" %p.description .value .input %input{type: "checkbox", name: "inventory_pool[print_contracts]", checked: @inventory_pool.print_contracts} %section#workdays %h2= _("Workdays") .inner - [1,2,3,4,5,6,0].each do |i| .field.text .key %h3= "#{I18n.t('date.day_names')[i]}" .value .input %select{:name => "store[workday_attributes][workdays][]"} %option{:label => _("Open"), :value => Workday::WORKDAYS[i]}= _("Open") %option{:label => _("Closed"), :value => "", :selected => @store.workday.closed_days.include?(i) ? true : nil}= _("Closed") app/models/workday.rb class Workday < ActiveRecord::Base belongs_to :inventory_pool WORKDAYS = ["sunday", "monday", "tuesday", "wednesday", "thursday", "friday", "saturday"] def is_open_on?(date) return false if date.nil? case date.wday when 1 return monday when 2 return tuesday when 3 return wednesday when 4 return thursday when 5 return friday when 6 return saturday when 0 return sunday else return false #Should not be reached end end def closed_days days = [] days << 0 unless sunday days << 1 unless monday days << 2 unless tuesday days << 3 unless wednesday days << 4 unless thursday days << 5 unless friday days << 6 unless saturday days end def workdays=(wdays) WORKDAYS.each {|workday| write_attribute(workday, wdays.include?(workday) ? true : false)} end end And in app/controllers/backend/inventory_pools_controller I have this (abridged): def update @inventory_pool ||= InventoryPool.find(params[:id]) process_params params[:inventory_pool] end def process_params ip ip[:print_contracts] ||= "false" # unchecked checkboxes are *not* being sent ip[:workday_attributes][:workdays].delete "" if ip[:workday_attributes] end

  • AS3 - Can I know if a class implements an interface (or is a subclass of another class) ?

    - by lk
With this code function someFunction(classParam:Class):Boolean { // how to know if classParam implements some interface? } i.e. Comparing classParam with IEventDispatcher interface: someFunction(EventDispatcher) // returns true someFunction(Object) // returns false I know it can't be done with is operator. But, is there a way to do it? Is there a way to know if a class implements some interface? (or is a subclass of another class?)

  • Prototype with a callback problem

    - by Lisio
function Foo() { this.bar = false; } Foo.prototype={ onLoad: function() { this.bar=true; }, create: function(id) { SomeClass.someMethod({ id: id, onWorkIsDone: this.onLoad }); } }; var temp=new Foo(); temp.create(); This sample has a logic error in string 'onWorkIsDone: this.onLoad'. What I have to place instead of 'this.onLoad' to make SomeClass call exactly the temp.onLoad method when it finishes it's work?

  • Lots of users still using 1.5?

    - by user246114
Hi, I'm looking at market stats here for sdk distribution: http://developer.android.com/resources/dashboard/platform-versions.html saying that 31% of marketplace users are still running 1.5. Is it true that an OS update went out for G1 and myTouch users? I'm wondering why so many people are still running 1.5 if so? Just curious because I'd like to use th setView() method introduced in 1.6 for TabSpec, but not if so many people are still using 1.5, I might have to roll my own control, Thanks

  • What is the command-line input to produce the javadoc?

    - by Bernard
After writing all the comments inside the code about the javadoc such as /** * This method compares the student's answer to the standard answer * @param ans The student's answer * @return True for correct answer; False for incorrect answer */ boolean compareAnswer(int ans); I guess it starts with : javadoc [optionss] [packages|files] I'm not sure what is the regular or default [option] and how can I say to produce it in my current home directory?

  • Java File.isDirectory() returns False for a Directory in Linux

    - by shelt536
Please see code snippet: File[] additionalFiles = new File(FILE_PATH).listFiles(); boolean isDirectory = file.isDirectory(); I have verified that the directory path is correct, and when I run the code on Windows, the value of isDirectory is true (as it should be). Any suggestions as to why this occurs on Linux (RedHat Enterprise Linux)?

  • How to get the path to the lib folder for an installed package

    - by Zardos
Shared libraries .so files are placed in lib/armeabi in an apk file. I have read after installation the libs gets extracted to /data/data/application_package/lib How can I get the exact path to this directory in my application at run time? Is this directory readable by the application? Or is only executeable access allowed? If it is readable - Is this still true for copy protected applications?

  • sqlite insert into: do the column names have to match?

    - by P a u l
(This question is specific to SQLite3, but it may be common to all SQL I don't know.) This doesn't seem to work. Is it because the column names don't match? (If they match, it works.) If this is true, how can I select from a different field in the source table? INSERT INTO [ImagePoint] (ImageID, PointID, X, Y) SELECT Image2ID, PointID, X, Y FROM Point

  • Generic solution to deselect buttons in java

    - by Hectoret
In a set of radio buttons of the same group, only one can be selected at the same time. I would like to have the same behaviour with a normal button. Imagine there's a row of 3 buttons. When a button is selected it changes: but.setSelected(true) and the other two buttons should be NOT selected: but.setSelected(false) Now, is there a generic, simple and clean solution to accomplish that in Java (Swing) ?
