  • Diffplex wrapping long lines with diff highlights

    http://diffplex.codeplex.com/ I am looking at the samples provided. In these samples for the long lines they are trying NOT to wrap them which leads to horizontal scrolling. I believe, it should be possible to show those lines wrapped inside cells. In my scenario for left and right strings as input, after calling DiffPlex I just need them modified with html styles to be placed into table cells with wrapping.

    Hello everyone, I am using Silverlight 3.0 + .Net 3.5 + VSTS 2008 + C# to develop a simple video application using the open source slvideoplayer of Silverlight. http://slvideoplayer.codeplex.com/ For the player, the play control is at the bottom of the rendering video, any ideas how to place play control at the top of video? However they have an example,using "JsonConvert" class XmlDocument doc = new XmlDocument(); doc.LoadXml(xml); string jsonText = JsonConvert.SerializeXmlNode(doc); I cant find "JsonConvert" in namespace "Newtonsoft.Json".Only class i've found is "JavaScriptConvert". Any ideas?

I am bit confused on how to keep track of selected item(of that collection) and pass that to client. Any ideas?     This is doubtless something obvious, but downloading the F# PowerPack from codeplex and running fshtmldoc produces this error: clements$ mono ./fshtmldoc.exe FSharp.PowerPack.dll Processing 'FSharp.PowerPack.dll'... Unexpected failure while writing HTML docs: An exception was thrown by the type initializer for Microsoft.FSharp.Metadata.AssemblyLoader This is using mono 2.6.3, F# 2.0 1.9.9.9, & OS X 10.6.3 on a 32-bit intel processor.     I've found that in order to use PRISM's classes in XAML you need to import namespace in that way: xmlns:cal="http://www.codeplex.com/CompositeWPF" this way is new to me, so I wanted to know, how hyperlink could be alias of usual notation of namespace import? so the intellisence knows in which assembly it should search this component?     Are the REST for ASP.NET MVC bits automatically included with MVC 2, or do you need to download/install/use the REST for ASP.NET MVC bits separately?     I followed the instructions here http://support.microsoft.com/kb/825532 After that when I preview my page, I can't see the hitcounter. I learned that it may be related to permissions of the site but I couldn't find how to do it. Is it realy related to permissions ? If so what should I do to ? And any external solution (except this one: http://hitcounter.codeplex.com/) would help, the one in pharanthesis, I couldn't make it work.

I know I can download the full open source MVC code from codeplex, build it and then get my code to reference THAT codebase dll's... But i'm wondering if this could be achieved by using the Symbol Server stuff instead? If so, can someone go through some steps please, about how to achieve this?

    I am looking for a template engine to use client side. I have been trying a few like jsRepeater and jQuery Templates. While they seem to work OK in FireFox they all seem to break down in IE7 when it comes down to rendering HTML tables. I also took a look at MicrosoftAjaxTemplates.js (from http://www.codeplex.com/aspnet/Release/ProjectReleases.aspx?ReleaseId=16766) but turns out that has the same problem. Any advice on other templating engines to use?

    I'm trying to implement a class in C# with a method that intercepts the Python __setattr__ and __getattr__ magic methods. I found this bug report: http://ironpython.codeplex.com/WorkItem/View.aspx?WorkItemId=8143 But that is from 2008, and nowhere can I find ICustomAttributes or PythonNameAttribute. I don't see anything useful in Interfaces.cs either. Can someone point me in the right direction?

    I was wondering if anyone has come up with an ASP.net server tag for the HTML5 canvas? I was thinking of something where I could declaritively define paths, curves; etc in the aspx markup, and the control would deliver the js to do this (perhaps with support for browser detection, and delivery of an emulation script for IE browsers.) Maybe a good idea for a Codeplex project for me to start up?
