    What's the best ASP.NET MVC based blog engine out there which is ready to deploy? I am guessing there are no MVC blog engines which are comparable with WebForms based blog engines like dasBlog, BlogEngine and subText? I think Oxite is a dead end and Orchid is more like a CMS. Looking for an engine which can do these: - RSS feeds support - anti comment spam functionality like support for Akismet - comment post approval support - Some kind of theming is possible

    hi, How do i handle autopoatback in MVC? suppose i have a textbax. I enter a value in it, i need to check if the value exists in some table in the database. So in ASP .net i can set autopostback =true and handle on TextBox_TextChanged event. How do i do it here?? And what are the pros and cons of using asp.NET server control in MVC?

    In ASP.NET MVC, how to get the page content before render, we know in Web form app, we can override the method protected override void Render(HtmlTextWriter writer) to get the page content before render. but in MVC there are no event concept, so how we can get the page content. the purpose for that is to emphasize(wrap <strong> tag) the keywords before the page rendered.     I just setup an out of the box "W2K8 R2 Web" server and installed IIS 7 out of the box. Then I installed the .NET4 framework and ran "aspnet_regiis -i" command. I created a site using .NET 4.0 Integrated app pool. I created an MVC application using the default MVC project template, without modifying I compiled the project and deploy the files using (Publish) to the virtual directory. I can pull the site up, but the styles are missing from the page and for some reason it routing to the /Account/LogOn?ReturnUrl=/
