    Hi, My problem is: I've got a table, dynamically created, fill with a lot of dropdownlists witches IDs are dynamically created. When a button is pressed, I need to scan all controls in the table and save their value. But after the postback I can't no longer access to the table, and I've no idea how can I get those values...     Hi, I'm trying to update a field in the database to the sum of its joined values: UPDATE P SET extrasPrice = SUM(E.price) FROM dbo.BookingPitchExtras AS E INNER JOIN dbo.BookingPitches AS P ON E.pitchID = P.ID AND P.bookingID = 1 WHERE E.[required] = 1 When I run this I get the following error: "An aggregate may not appear in the set list of an UPDATE statement." Any ideas?

    Basically, I want to have a database that's lightweight and I won't need to install a million other things on my clients computers for them to access this. I just need a simple method of reading and writing values so that they're not hardcoded into the program. I could do MySQL (which is what I'm very familiar with), but it doesn't need to be making calls remotely. I would have less than 10 fields and one table, if that matters. Thanks!

    So i have a SQL table setup as such CREATE TABLE IF NOT EXISTS `points` ( `id` int(11) NOT NULL auto_increment, `lat` float(10,6) NOT NULL, `lng` float(10,6) NOT NULL, PRIMARY KEY (`id`) ) ENGINE=MyISAM; And im inserting stuff like INSERT INTO `points` (`lat`, `lng`) VALUES ('89.123456','-12.123456'); Gives me a row with lat and lng being 89.123459 and -12.123455 Whats up?

The problem I am having is it is case sensitive and I need to have it return the correct value if the array values match even if the case is different. I don't want to change the case to lowercase because I need the value returned to keep its case. I'm a little confused as the best method to do this.

    I have 2 sql queries that return results, both contain a contract number, now I want to get the unique values of contract numbers HEre's the query (SELECT contractno, dsignoff FROM campaigns WHERE clientid = 20010490 AND contractno != '' GROUP BY contractno,dsignoff) UNION (SELECT id AS contractno,signoffdate AS dsignoff FROM contract_details WHERE clientid = 20010490) So for example, if the first query before the union returns two results with contract no 10, and the sql query after the union also returns 10, then we have 3 rows in total, however because contractno of all three rows is 10, I need to have only one row returned, Is this possible?

What if this specifc value doesn't exist and we have to use two values? in the example bellow the values [4] and [5]... In other words, I want to do this: order all objects numericaly by the fith value of each object from the highest to the lowest, and addicionally, for those objects that have the fifht value is empty (in the examplem '-'), order them by the fourth value.
