    Is there any way to launch a JS function after a dataGrid launches its ItemDataBound event? I've tried adding a JS block to the ItemDataBound function like: protected void itemDataBound (e sender, arguments args) { ClientScript.RegisterStartupScript(typeof(string),"test","alert('testing');",true); } but it did nothing. Am I missing something?

However, suppose one of the properties of my object is a dictionary, and each is expected to contain a specific key. Is there any way to bind one of my DataGridColumns to that dictionary key?     Hey, I'm trying to create a Flex DataGrid where the firstname and lastname are shown under each other, but in the DataGridColumn Ideally I would want to do something like <mx:columns> <mx:DataGridColumn headerText="Column 2" dataField="time"/> <mx:DataGridColumn headerText="Column 2" dataField="firstname,lastname" itemRenderer="renderers.FirstNameLastName"/> so that both values get passed to the itemrenderer, is this possible?     This seems quite odd. I have a Datagrid (.net 3.5 cf) that I bind to either a List or Inventory[]. When I click on a row and then hit a button to perform an action when I bind to a List CurrentRowIndex is -1. When I bind to Inventory[] and perform the same action CurrentRowIndex comes back with the selected row why is that?? grdBatch.DataSource = InventoryItems.ToArray(); vs grdBatch.DataSource = InventoryItems;

    I want to extend the DataGrid component so that there is a (read-only) column for the row number like you see in spreadsheets. I came across this article http://www.cflex.net/showFileDetails.cfm?ObjectID=735 but it depends on the data being unique for each row so that it can index into the array. If the data is not unique (like for an empty grid) it doesn't work. How can I implement that?
