  • C# DLL: Need to know when application is closing

    Is there a way to monitor when an application that is using the dll closes? The DLL and the application are both C#, neither are Windows Forms. I can check when the main application is closing, but I would like for the DLL to see "hey the program is closing and releasing me, I should do this real quick before I die". Any way to do it? Or am I stuck having the application dish out "do this before you die"?

  • Attached property and style missing on re adding the user control

    Hey people I've got an issue with a WPF project I'm working on, I have an items control which I add to and remove from certain user controls, these contols styles and attached properties are there on first view but when I remove and add them again the user control apears on screen but is detached from the items control attached properties and styles. Is this behaviour common and if so what is the best way to handle it? Thanks in advance

    Hey, I'm trying to mod rewrite the image locations on my site, I'm just using this : rewriteRule ^thumbs/(.*)$ http://site2.com/images/$1 [L] so that I can redirect all image requests going from http://site1.com/thumbs/something to http://site2.com/thumbs/something But only some of the images are loading, and not all of them.     hey guys, i wonder how i can solve the following problem. on the root directory of my server lies a file calles upload.php i want to be able to add a "/upload" (without .php) to my URL and the browser should ask for a password (and maybe username if possible). I i enter the password (and username) correctly upload.php should be opened. Is this possible with htaccess?

    Hey, I know whats the difference between a NULL value and an empty string ("") value, but if I want to get a value by using the OR keyword, I get no result for a NULL value The table i want to query looks like this: titles_and_tags +----+----------+------+ | id | title | tag | +----+----------+------+ | 1 | title1 | NULL | | 2 | title2 | tag1 | | 3 | title3 | tag2 | +----+----------+------+ The query i use looks like this: select * from `titles_and_tags` WHERE `title` LIKE "title" AND `tag` = "tag1" OR `tag` IS NULL So i want to get here a rows (id: 1,2), BUT this results 0 rows. What have i done wrong?
