• C# DLL: Need to know when application is closing

  Is there a way to monitor when an application that is using the dll closes? The DLL and the application are both C#, neither are Windows Forms. I can check when the main application is closing, but I would like for the DLL to see "hey the program is closing and releasing me, I should do this real quick before I die". Any way to do it? Or am I stuck having the application dish out "do this before you die"?

  Hey Guys Im looking for a jquery or ajax file uploader, Im currently using the FancyUploader which worked great until Flash brought out their update making all flash progress bars absolete, now whenever I try to upload large files... it will fill the progress bar to 100% in a matter of seconds even though the actual upload finished minutes after. So im now looking for a new uploading script that DOESNT require flash but can still display the progress. Any suggestions?

  Hey there, trying to install a ruby gem but I keep getting the following error: ERROR:failed to build gem native extension /System/Library/Frameworks/Ruby.framework/Versions/1.8/usr/bin/ruby extconf.rb mkmf.rb can't find header files for ruby at/System/ Library/Frameworks/Ruby.framework/Versions/1.8/usr/lib/ruby/ruby.h I'm not exactly sure what is happening here.   Hey, I know whats the difference between a NULL value and an empty string ("") value, but if I want to get a value by using the OR keyword, I get no result for a NULL value The table i want to query looks like this: titles_and_tags +----+----------+------+ | id | title | tag | +----+----------+------+ | 1 | title1 | NULL | | 2 | title2 | tag1 | | 3 | title3 | tag2 | +----+----------+------+ The query i use looks like this: select * from `titles_and_tags` WHERE `title` LIKE "title" AND `tag` = "tag1" OR `tag` IS NULL So i want to get here a rows (id: 1,2), BUT this results 0 rows. What have i done wrong?
