    Hi, The iPhone has a functionality that when a google maps URL is typed into (or linked) the mobile browser it will open the Google Maps app instead of displaying it in the mobile browser. Now I'm wondering if that same functionality exists for say a Nokia (Symbian) phone? Is there a way to set up the link to open the Google maps app on the Symbian phone?

    I know inline Javascript is frowned upon and with the new on-the-fly Javascript compressors that check for idle/unused function usage and omit the unused code, it seems good practice to have all your Javascript in an external file. My question is, in situations like FOUC (flash of unstyled content) which usually require little snippets of code right before the closing </body> tag, is there a JQuery resolution that would serve the same purpose, but from a remote Javascript file linked in the <head> of the document?

  • Browsing PDF in a web page without using Flash

    I Have an N-Pages PDF linked in a my web page. I want to be able to browse the PDF, with next and prev arrows, page numbers, etc etc I want to be able to browse the PDF without using any Flash Plugin. I also want to normalize the browsing behaviour, so i don't want to use the default PDF plugin of the browser. I'm looking for a JS plugin but i don't find interesting solutions. Any other suggestions ? Thanks

  • Why don't all XSLT templates get executed at once?

    Refer to: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1613454/retrieving-one-element-and-filter-by-another In the above linked posting, I don't understand why the two template blocks don't get executed upon in the incoming XML at the same time. As far I can can see, the XSL risks the second template executing for every Document element whether it is called with apply-templates or not. Could someone explain this to my stifled brain, please? I tried a number of things and the example linked above is my closest result. How do i make the 3rd link share the same line and a block so the resut of the line is clickable? I tried float left and that does not allow the third link to take up remaining space.

    I have a windows app (app.exe) build with visual studio 2008, for which I have created a custom installer class. When I run installutil.exe on app.exe, the custom installer is executed OK. I then added a setup & deployment project to create the windows installer file app.msi - this works fine but it does not run the custom installer. How is my custom installer class supposed to get linked to the setup MSI file?

  • How can I link to a specific glibc version

    When I compile something on my Ubuntu Lucid 10.04 PC it gets linked against glibc. Lucid uses 2.11 of glibc. When I run this binary on another PC with an older glibc, the command fails saying there's no glibc 2.11... As far as I know glibc uses symbol versioning. Can I force gcc to link against a specific symbol version? In my concret use I try to compile a gcc cross toolchain for ARM.

Notice how the tableview cell has a little triangle pointing upwards and is part of a tableview cell. The triangle is the ---^--- part of the image. I'm wondering.     I have a Netflix Affiliate account, but I don't want to direct users to the homepage for them to create an account, I want to direct them to a search result page. The reason for this is that on our site we have lots of titles but they can't be reliably linked to a single Netflix result programmatically, so we would prefer if we could direct users to a search page, and if the user signs up, get the revenue. Is this possible? I find the whole Netflix-Affiliate-but-Google-Affiliate scheme a bit daunting.

My goal is to be able to clear and repopulate the LINQ ORM designer without having to set the "Auto Generate Value" property manually every time to re-establish the fact that certain columns are autogenerated.     hi. i have 2 tables: tags (id_tag,name) news (id,title,data,tags) The field newstags is a varchar(255). Im planning to put data like this in that field: "1,7,34" That means that a particular row in news is linked to tags 1, 7 and 34 from the tags table. Then, how can i search for ALL news records that have the 34 value (among others) in the tags field? Is there a better way to do this?
