• Why does my domain not show up in Google anymore?

  So I have had a website since about 2006. It's http://earlz.biz.tm . Recently I've noticed that no results will show up for it in google. I do have a secondary domain(that I plan on getting rid of) pointing to it but I don't understand why google would suddenly not show my site. I believe it was showing up a few months ago and my website is hardly ever down, like one or two days I believe has been the most it's been down in a row in this time period. Is there something wrong with my DNS or other configuration that would make google not index me? For reference I've tried: earlz.biz.tm site:earlz.biz.tm and the heading from my site "Earlz.biz.tm -- The reasoning is bacon" A few show up with the therusticstone.com domain(the one I plan to point somewhere else) but none show up directly linking to earlz.biz.tm.

However, I still would lik my picture from Google+ to show up in search results like this, as it adds a personal touch to my blog: How do I make the picture show up on Google searches with a .com name and a Wordpress blog? I have no idea how that showed up in Google searches, as I did nothing to get the picture to show up (as far as I know).

  Hi. I am making a sort of "print preview" control for some documents in my Silverlight 3 application. I have a Canvas (for showing the document) inside of a ScrollViewer, and I have zoom in / zoom out buttons that control the X and Y Scale properties of the ScaleTransform for the Canvas.RenderTransform property. I want the scrollbars of the ScrollViewer to show up when I "zoom in" enough such that the canvas is no longer visible in the ScrollViewer area, but it seems that they only show up depending on the Width/Height of the Canvas itself, regardless of whether it is zoomed in or not. Can anyone help?

• Show soft keyboard when Activity starts

  I have 2 activities, A and B. When A starts, it checks for a condition and if true, it calls startActivityForResult() to start B. B only takes text input so it makes sense for the soft keyboard to automatically pop up when B start. When the activity starts, the EditText already has focus and it ready for input. The problem is that the keyboard never shows up, even with windowSoftInputMode="stateAlwaysVisible" set in the manifest under the <activity> tag for B. I also tried with the value set to stateVisible. Since it doesn't show up automatically, I have to tap the EditText to make it show. Anyone know what the solution might be?

  I am currently trying to write an addin for PowerPoint that whenever any PowerPoint document is opened and then run in show mode that the feature to record narration audio and slide timings is automatically activated. However I cannot seem to find that option in the PowerPoint interop object The manual in application way to use this feature in Powerpoint 2007 is under the "Slide Show" tab of the ribbon called "Record Narration". I have found under that I can set under Microsoft.Office.Interop.PowerPoint.SlideShowSettings.AdvancedSettings to RehearseNewTimings but this does not record narration audio. Does anyone know if this is even possible? Or if I am completely on the wrong track here. Thanks in advance for any repsonse

• pdb show different variable values than print statements

  Hi, everyone. I am debugging a python module with homemade c extensions. The output seems correct when I print it with 'p' in pdb. But if I use a normal print statement or pickle it, the output is wrong. What could be causing pdb to show different values than normal execution? I can even step to the print statement in debug mode, and pdb will show the correct value but the program will print the wrong one. The problem seems to happen only when I have called a certain c extension earlier. Glad to post code if that helps. Thank you.

  Hello, actually i use this method to show similar words for a search request.. $query = "SELECT * FROM searches WHERE Query LIKE '%$search%' ORDER BY Query"; if someone searches for "nelly" it looks up in the database for similar words "nelly furtado, nelly ft. kelly"... but i dont want to show up the searched word.. example: you've searched for nelly - try this too: nelly, nelly furtado, nelly ft., the bold word should not showed up again, because it's the searched word.. is there maybe a method with MATCH AGAINST? thank you!

  I'm wondering if theres a best practice for what I'm trying to accomplish... First we have the model categories, categories, has_many posts. Now lets say, users add posts. Now, I have a page, that I want to display only the current user's posts by category. Lets say we have the following categories: A, B, and C User 1, has posted in Categories A and B. In my view I have something like: @categories.each do |category| category.name @posts.each do |post| if post.category_id==category.id post content here end end end The problem with this, is I'm going to show the empty category, as well as the categories that do have content. Is there a more efficient way of going about this? As I don't want to show the empty categories. Best, Elliot

• Flex Validator -- Show Red Error Border on DataGrid Cell

  I can successfully add a validator on an item in my datagrid, by passing in the particular element in the dataProvider to the validator, but I can't get the red border to show up around the cell if the validation fails. I have stepped through the validator, and confirmed that it is passing back a failure, but I can't figure out why the red error border doesn't show up. I have a feeling its because I am passing the item in my dataProvider as the validator source, rather than the 'cell' item, but I can't find a way to access the cell. Thanks.

  Installshield 2009 Premier Basic MSI: When I uninstall there is a Message Box saying that explorer has to be closed: [Title] My-Product-Name [List] Explorer [radio button 1, Selected by default] Automatically close applications and attempt to restart them after setup is complete [radio button 2] Do not close applications. (A Reboot will be required) [Ok Button] [Cancel Button] If I click OK [with radio button 1 selected] all opened folders are closed !!! How to get rid of this, I don't want any warning message box to show and not close explorer either? More info: I have a dll which is used to show explorer context menu with icons when we right click on any file/folder. This dll is registered during installation and unregistered during uninstall. When we uninstall WinRAR we don't see any such messages, do we?

  HI all, I'm developing a software to control light show ( through DMX protocol ), i use C# and wpf to develop my main software (.net 4.0) To help people preview their show, i would like to make a live 3D visualizer... First, i thought that i could use wpf 3D to make the visualizer, but i need to work with light .. My main application should send property ( beam angle, orientation (X,Y), position(X,Y), Brush ( color,shape,effect)) to the 3D visualizer But i would like to be able to move light (position in the scene) by mouse during execution and had value in return... So .. Does XNA is the easiest way to doing that ?   Hi, I want to have a alpha blended window over a video playing in the background. Considering the fact that a window cannot be made alpha blended over another window unless you take a snap of the background, I had to resort to OpenGL. I have few options for this: (1) To show an object on the WinCE window without showing the OpenGL ES window. Is it possible to do this ??   Hello, I'm having difficulties to make a QMenuBar display a QMenu with a QAction under Mac OS X (Snow Leopard).   Ok, this may be confusing so I hope I explain it correctly. I have 4 tables: business photos video category I want to display "featured" businesses on the home page (or elsewhere) and I want to show a Yes or No in the table row based upon whether or not there are photos or videos for that business. Example: Joes Crab Shack has no videos or photos but is featured. So, when his row is echoed out it will show the Business Name and Business Owner but there will be no data in the photo or video cells thus in the video and photos column it will say No. Otherwise, if the opposite was true, it would say Yes.   Hi Everyone, I have a working Rails application on version 2.3.5 - I am using many to many model relations and have got almost everything working. What I would like to do is on my new kase page show the most recent kase job ref at the top. So for example, if I created a new kase with a job ref of "001", if I then went to create a new kase it would show at the top "Your previous kases reference was 001". I have the field of jobref in the new kase form, so I am trying to workout what I need to do to output only the last jobref. If that makes sense! Thanks, Danny

  Hi... I'm using the asp.net Chart control to present a stacked bars chart. I can create a mouseover custom tooltip using this code: series.MapAreaAttributes = "onmouseover=\"showTooltip('#VALY');\""; ... which works fine. But I can't seem to find a way to show the rest of the values for the other series in that column. Example: I have 2 series (Paid and Unpaid) making up a single column in the chart. When I mouseover any of the series, I want to show both the value of the moused-over series, but also the other series contained in that particular stacked column. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

My App stalls for a moment so I know it is chugging along inside of thread t, but why doesnt my dialog appear? IF I remove the line: t.join(); Then what I find happens is that the progress dialog does show up, but my app starts stepTwo(); before what happens in the thread is complete.. Any ideas?

  I am currently working with the jQuery validation plugin, and I want to show only one error-message before the form itself. I am doing it this way because the css hides parts of the admin area that I do not want hidden globally. I could probably do this with liberal use of !important in my style sheetsbut I was hoping there was an easier way to write this in the function. Or is there a way to write <?php if ( current_user_can('level_7') ) : ?> with something like if < level_7 ?
