  Art of Test produced a nice UI testing tool for free -- WebAii Framework-- that I've been using to add client-side DOM unit tests to my projects. Recently they merged with Telerik and it's now a commercial product. From free to $1500 is suddenly very expensive. Does anybody know if the community edition is still available, or even the last free version is available for download? At least I can finish off with that.

• is there a limit of merge tables with Mysql ?

  I'm working on a database with mysql 5.0 for an open source project it's used to stored sentences in specific languages and their translations in other languages I used to have a big table "sentences" and "sentences_translations" (use to join sentences to sentences) table but has we have now near one million entries, this begin to be a bit slow, moreover, most of request are made using a "where lang =" so I've decided to create a table by language sentences_LANGUAGECODE and sentences_translation_LANGSOURCE_LANGTARGET and to create merge table like this sentences_ENG_OTHERS which merge sentences_ENG_ARA sentences_ENG_DEU etc... when we want to have the translations in all languages of an english sentence sentences_OTHERS_ENG when we want to have only the english translations of some sentences I've created a script to create all these tables (they're around 31 languages so more than 60 merge table), I've tested, that works really great a request which use to take 160ms now take only 30 :) but I discover that all my merge table after the 15th use to have "NULL" as type of storage engine instead of MRG_MYISAM, and if delete one, then I can create an others, using FLUSH table between each creation also allow me to create more merge tables so is this a limitation from mysql ? can we override it ? thanks for your answers

What's the easiest way to go about this in C# using .Net 3.5?

  Can this code be optimized or re-factored? Is this an optimal approach to tagging? The following code is a callback in my posts model. It creates a record that associates a tag with a post in a QuestionsTags joiner table. When necessary, if a given tag does not already exist in the tags table, the function creates it, then uses its id to create the new record in the QuestionsTags table. The difficulty with this approach is the QuestionsTags table depends on data in the tags table which may or may not exist. The function assumes the following tables: tags(id, tagName), posts(tags) // Comma delimited list questionsTags(postId, tagId) The idea is to loop over a delimited list of tags submitted with a post and check to see if each tag already exists in the tags table If tag exists: Check to see if there's already a QuestionTag record for this post and this tag in the QuestionTags table.   I want to be able to search within the commit logs of svn. I know you can do that on tortoise, but couldn't find a way using the command line. We are moving to a two-tiered repository approach, so that the stable branch will only get stories fully completed and tested. To achieve that, we would need a way to search within the commit messages for the story code (eg:#s1322) and get a list of the revisions to be used in a subsequent merge command. Ex: searchsvnapp http://[repo location root] #s1322 result: 4233,4249,4313

  I have a website that needs to pull information from two diffferent XML data sources. Originally I only need to get the data from one source so I was building a URL in the backend that went and retrieved the data from the XML site and then parsed and rendered it in the front end of the website. Now I have to use a 2nd data source and merge the result sets (which are identically structured XML) into one result set. • Are all <canvas> tag dimensions in pixels?

  Are all tag dimensions in pixels? I am asking because I understood them to be. But my math is broken or I am just not grasping something here. I have been doing python mostly and just jumped back into Java Scripting. If I am just doing something stupid let me know. For a game I am writing, I wanted to have a blocky gradient. I have the following: HTML <canvas id="heir"></canvas> CSS @media screen { body { font-size: 12pt } /* Game Rendering Space */ canvas { width: 640px; height: 480px; border-style: solid; border-width: 1px; } } JavaScript (Shortened) function testDraw ( thecontext ) { var myblue = 255; thecontext.save(); // Save All Settings (Before this Function was called) for (var i = 0; i < 480; i = i + 10 ) { if (myblue.toString(16).length == 1) { thecontext.fillStyle = "#00000" + myblue.toString(16); } else { thecontext.fillStyle = "#0000" + myblue.toString(16); } thecontext.fillRect(0, i, 640, 10); myblue = myblue - 2; }; thecontext.restore(); // Restore Settings to Save Point (Removing Styles, etc...) } function main () { var targetcontext = document.getElementById(“main”).getContext("2d"); testDraw(targetcontext); } To me this should produce a series of 640w by 10h pixel bars. In Google Chrome and Fire Fox I get 15 bars. To me that means ( 480 / 15 ) is 32 pixel high bars. Other than the fact that the first code snippet has shades of blue rendering in non-visible portions of the they are measuring 32 pixels. Now back to the Original Java Code... If I inspect the tag in Chrome it reports 640 x 480. If I inspect it in Fire Fox it reports 640 x 480. BUT! Fire Fox exports the original code to png at 300 x 150 (which is 15 rows of 10). Is it some how being resized to 640 x 480 by the CSS instead of being set to a true 640 x 480? Why, how, what? O_o I confused...
