    When I try opening a project I get an exception saying Web application is configured to use IIS. Error : The Web Application Project EntityServices is configured to use IIS. To access local IIS Web sites, you must install the following IIS components: IIS 6 Metabase and IIS 6 Configuration Compatibility In addition, you must run Visual Studio in the context of an administrator account. NOTE - I have already installed IIS 7. My box is a x64 bit Windows 7 box.

    Hi guys, I'm getting angry - I cant run the emulator (under vista x64). I still get the following error: Starting emulator in execution mode * Error * Failed to connect to device 2! Reason: Emulator 2 terminated while waiting for it to register! BUILD FAILED (total time: 26 seconds) I was trying to change the port to 1999, localhost to ip address and such stuff.     The documentation for Lua for Wireshark claims that the Tvp class has a new_real() method. However, this method seems to not exist when I try to use it in my Lua script. I'm using Wireshark 1.3.5 (latest dev version) for Windows x64. Did the method get renamed? If so, to what? Is there a better support forum for this particular question?

    Hi, I compiled Detours 64 bit using: {nmake DETOURS_TARGET_PROCESSOR=X64} I'm using it in simple component. The component builds fine in 32 bit. But in 64 bit I am getting following linker errors: {unresolved external symbol DetourAttach} {unresolved external symbol DetourFindFunction} {unresolved external symbol DetourDetach} {unresolved external symbol DetourTransactionCommit} {...} I have correctly set the linker directories and library options in the component VC++ project file. Please help me to resolve this issue.

I wonder if there is any special CPU (x86/x64) instruction for string operation that is used by string library, that somehow used to optimize the parsing routine. for example instruction like finding a token in a string that could be run by hardware instead of looping each byte until a token is found.
