  • Recommendations for a programmable drivers license scanner?

    Our motor pool wants to scan drivers’ licenses and have the data imported into our custom system. We're looking for something that will allow us to programmatically get the data from the scanner (including the picture) and let us insert it into our application. I was wondering if anyone has had experience with this type of system and could recommend one or tell us which ones to avoid. Our application is written in PowerBuilder and uses a DB2 database.

    When I use jQuery for a simple click event it only works for links. Is there a way to make it work for spans etc: $("span.clicked").live("click", function(e){alert("span clicked!")}); $("a.clicked").live("click", function(e){alert("link clicked!")}); Example is here: http://ip1n.j-www.com/test/index2.html The SPAN works in Safari but not Mobile Safari (on iPhone or iPad) whereas the A tag works in both.

I'd really like to take advantage of the HTML 5 audio tag but my target audience includes many, many teens using IE6.   • Niceforms radio buttons are shown on wrong position

    When i am using Niceforms the normal text inputs and buttons work great and i even managed to get a custom theme for them based on the provided sample psd. But when i use radiobuttons/checkboxes, they get shown some where completely different than the labels. This happens consistently on FF,Chrome and Safari. As soon as i put any positioning css (a float:left or even a ) in the page the radiobuttons break.

What have i done wrong?

Array ( 0 => Array { [Post] => Array ( [id] => 1 [title] => test post 1 ) [Tag] => Array ( [0] => Array ( [id] => 1 [name] => php ) [1] => Array ( [id] => 2 [name] => javascript ) [2] => Array ( [id] => 3 [name] => xml ) ) } But my output do not have Tags at all. Here is what I got. Array ( [0] => Array ( [Post] => Array ( [id] => 1 [title] => test post1 ) ) [1] => Array ( [Post] => Array ( [id] => 2 [title] => test post2 ) ) ) How do I get associated tags along with the post. I know I am missing something, but unable to figure out. Any help would be highly appreciated.

What I would like to do is trigger a transition effect that moves the child component onto the stage when it's added and then moves it off when it's removed.     I've noticed that if you sent a query string routevalue through asp.net mvc you end up with all whitespaces urlencoded into "%20". What is the best way of overriding this formatting as I would like whitespace to be converted into the "+" sign? I was thinking of perhaps using a custom Route object or a class that derives from IRouteHandler but would appreciate any advice you might have.
