  • Is 0x9B (155decimal) a special control character? Why is it missing from ascii tables?

    Hi, I'm working on an embedded system, and i'm having dramas getting it to send a certain chunk of data across the serial port. I narrowed it down and found that if a 0x9B is present in the message, it corrupts the message. So i then look up 0x9b (155) on http://www.asciitable.com/, and it's missing! Isn't that a bizarre coincidence! Any ideas, is this a special character or something?

    I got script what read from database and manipulate it so on the end I got $result array... on one server is it possible to serialize this object and pass it to other script so this $result array could be available for other script on second server... I got on first server: return serialize ( $results ); and on second: $data = unserialize ( file_get_contents ( 'http://www.......com/reader.php' ) ); ...but there is no communication between ....     I am trying to build a small mvc-based application. How do I call a method in a class based on a query string? For example, the $_GET query string is being set as load_master_form http://www.domain.com/settings/load_master_form And to call the method within the settings class, I am doing: function __construct(){ $this->{$_GET['method']}(); } But obviously that doesn't work - it just isn't possible to load a method like that. So how would it be done?

    I'm trying to display an map inside an iframe that has a needle which on mouseover shows some information about a certain company, the thing is once you click the link the page opens up inside the iframe which ruins the experience, so i was wondering is it possible to make the links inside an iframe open up in a new window instead perhaps using jquery or something similiar? the code i have atm is http://www.jsfiddle.net/rkd59/1/

  • IE6 is duplicating characters, can't figure out why. Suggestions?

    Problem is located on http://www.preownedweddingdresses.com/ We have a dresses slider at the bottom, select tabs different dresses shown. Works fine everywhere else, but for some reason, in IE6, the letters "ls" (from the tab "Best Deals") are duplicating inside the content and causing rendering issues. I've yet to find anything that can fix this, or anything that can be blamed for causing this either. I've changed the letters at the end of Best Deals, and the duplicated letters change as well. Open to any suggestions.

    I want to populate span tags for all text nodes between the self closing tags s1 and s2 having the same id.If the transformation of the input to the output form requires the list of ids of the s1 , s2 tag pairs say 1, 2 etc i can assume that it is in place in any form if required.The input can have any structure and not exactly the same as seen in the sample input. It can have any number of s1, s2 tag pairs but each pair will have a unique id. Hope i am clear. How can this be achieved using XSL?
