• Annotation Title/Subtitle under Pins

  Hi, I use the Map to display some pin location from my database, everything is working fine. After that I use a pickerView to let the user display some specific pins. So I remove all the Pins first with [mapView removeAnnotations:mapView.anotations]; and display new Pins. There is like 100 of news pins, my problem is when I click on a Pin, the Title and subtitle are display under the others pins. Someone got the same problem? Thanks, P.S: Don't know if its relevant but I add a custom image for the pins.

• Have boost effect on lucene/compass field search.

  Hi there, In our compass mapping, we're boosting "better" documents to push them up in the list of search results. Something like this: <boost name="boostFactor" default="1.0"/> <property name="name"><meta-data>name</meta-data></property> While this works fine for fulltext search, it does not when doing a field search, e.g. the boost is ignored when searching something like name:Peter Is there any way to enable boosting for field searches? • Problems with retrieving the correct cookie in Java

  When I retrieve the cookies in my java servlet, all of the values from getPath() are null. So if a cookie with the same name is set in directory /foo, and at the root directory, I retrieve two cookies with the same exact name, but I can't differentiate them because getPath() returns null for both. I looked in firebug and saw that firefox was not sending anythign for the path. My application uses a "rememberme" cookie with the path set to "/". Everything works fine as long as there is only one cookie with name rememberme. But if somehow another cookie gets set with the same name on a different path like /foo, then my application won't know which one is the one I set for the root. How can I differentiate the cookies? Do I need to worry about a cookie existing with the same name in a subdir, or can I just assume there will be only the one I set?

  Hi, I have been working on a Java project in which the reports will be generated in HTML, so I am implementing methods for creating these reports. One important functionality is to be able to have as much info as possible in the tables, but still not clutter too much. In other words the details should be available if the user wishes to take a look at them but not necessarily visible by default. I have done some searching and testing and found an interesting template for hiding/showing content with the use of CSS and javascript, the problem is that when I try the resultant html page the scripts dont work. I am not sure if it's due a problem in Java or in the javascript itself. I have compared the html code that java produces to the source where I found the template, they seem to match pretty well. I could use a session factory, which would probably have to understand the url and return a proper session. Is there a way to handle this more elegantly/simply with ninject/autofac?

  My digital camera takes pictures with a very high resolution, and I have a PIL script to shrink them to 800x600 (or 600x800). However, it would be nice for the resultant file to retain the original timestamp. I noticed in the docs that I can use a File object instead of a name in PIL's image save method, but I don't know if that will help or not.
