  • IIS6 Problems with ASP.NET MVC.

    Hello, I have a ASP.NET MVC page. I Configured a IIS Website and added the additonal H:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v2.0.50727\aspnet_isapi.dll. my Directory Structure is like that / ../App_data/ ../bin/ ../Content/ ../Properties/ ../Scripts/ ../Views/ ../Default.aspx ../Global.asax ../Web.config My page is configured to port 9090. If i try to access the page i get the "default" Page. But if i try to access any other page than the //myServer:9090 like //myServer:9090/home (which is the default method in my HomeController) i get a "page not found" error page. For me it looks like he does'nt execute the assambly. In the Debbuging Server all runs nice. What could be the Problem? P.S: If i forgort something pls ask for! thanks!

    Hello everyone, I've configured CEDET for emacs following Alex article (great!!). Now, the questions: 1 - i've generated GTAGS with Gnu Global in my /usr/include, how can i check if semantic is using GTAGS? 2 - can I keep my GTAGS in another directory and instruct semantic to use that dir?? 3 - In c/c++ sources, completion on include statement (from system headers) doesn't list all available headers. Ok, this is a stupid problem.. but makes me think something is not working right Thanks for your help!

    Hello StackOverflow community, Using Google App Engine, I wrote a keyToSha256() method within a model class (extending db.Model) : class Car(db.Model): def keyToSha256(self): keyhash = hashlib.sha256(str(self.key())).digest() return keyhash When displaying the output (ultimately within a Django template), I get garbled text, for example : ?????_??!`?I?!?;?QeqN??Al?'2 I was expecting something more in line with this : 9f86d081884c7d659a2feaa0c55ad015a3bf4f1b2b0b822cd15d6c15b0f00a08 Am I missing something important ? Despite reading several guides on ASCII, Unicode, utf-8 and the like, I think I'm still far from mastering the secrets of string encoding/decoding. After browsing StackOverflow and searching for insights via Google, I figured out I should ask the question here. Any idea ? Thanks !

  • How do I plot the warping of DTW result using gnuplot?

    Hello, Right now I have implemented Dynamic Time Warping algorithm for warping two 3D trajectories. Currently, gnuplot is my plotting tool of choice and it works fine when I plot multiple trajectories at a time. However, when I implement DTW one of the real use for plotting tool is to visualize the point warping, like this picture. Currently, the output of my DTW program is two time series in CSV files and another CSV file which indicate the warp (X in series 1 - Y in series 2). Is there any possible way to do that in gnuplot?

    hello, I am facing a very strange issue in my silverlight app on all browsers on mac but it is working perfectly in all windows browsers. in my silverlight app there is a scenario in which I create a very long text string and then pass it to a wcf service which then saves the string in a text file server. the issue is that in mac every time string is clipped after about same location. but it is working perfectly fine in all browsers on windows. btw in silverlight I am using string builder to build the string.

    Hello, I have looked for months now, for JavaScript-based HTML editor I can embed onto my web pages to replace a TEXTAREA, but to enable me to edit CODE in a friendly, closer to a real editor, way. All editors I've tried (RadEditor from Telerik, FCKEditor, TinyMCE, etc etc), do not trap the TAB key, very useful when editing HTML code onto a page, to help format the code properly. I'm not talking about syntax highlighting, as that would be an awesome plus. But I am mainly wondering if there is such an editor. I'd appreciate being pointed in the right direction.

    Hello, i'm about to start the development of a new automated-email application. The idea is that customers (or other external users) send emails to a mailbox and then an automated process will read them, extract their information and insert it into some database. It's a requirement that the emails have an standard format in order to be parsed (standard subject, etc.). The obvious thing to do would be to set up a process that periodically pools an ordinary mailbox, through pop-3 for example, processing the messages it finds. However, it would be for me much nicer to be able to process the emails as they arrive. I was wondering then, is there any way to set up a process that acts as a fake email-box? do you know about any open-source implementation of something like that I can extend?     Hello, I'm building form validation controls for our C# ASP application. The bulk of the work is handled by a BaseValidator control (subclassing System.Web.UI.UserControl), which also has the markup for the validation output. This is then extended by subcontrols like PasswordValidator, that provides the Validate method and any extra fields needed by that validator control. (The end goal is to have controls like <uc1:PasswordValidator ControlId="txtPassword" /> which we can plop into any form with minimum duplication.) However, PasswordValidator.ascx.cs cannot access the form elements defined in BaseValidator.ascx; the only way I've found to do so is to duplicate the markup in each subcontrol's *.ascx file. How can I extend BaseValidator.ascx.cs and access BaseValidator.ascx's markup in the subclass?

  • SharePoint web part not displaying for site readers

    Hello - I've built a custom SharePoint 2010 web part and deployed it to the home page of a publishing site. It's a very simple web part that just displays items from a SP list in a drop down list. The web part works fine if I'm logged in as a site owner or a member but not if I'm just a reader. The web part doesn't render at all to readers. I don't get any of the web part chrome or title, just nothing. I have other web parts (out-of-box ones) in the same zone that are displaying fine so it's not an issue of the whole zone not displaying. As a reader, I can still view the list directly so it doesn't appear to be a problem with list permissions. My web parts are being deployed as a farm solution, not sand-boxed and the assembly is being deployed to the GAC. I feel like I must be missing something simple here but I'm stumped. Help.

    Hello, I work on shared linux machines with between 4 and 24 cores. To make best use of them, I use the following code to detect the number of processors from my ruby scripts: return `cat /proc/cpuinfo | grep processor | wc -l`.to_i (perhaps there is a pure-ruby way of doing this?) But sometimes a colleague is using six or eight of the 24 cores. (as seen via top). How can I get an estimate of the number of currently unused processors that I can use without making anyone upset?     Hello All: I am creating a web application using Asp.net dynamic data. I am using GridView to show data from the database. In the grid view I am having following code for columns <Columns> <asp:DynamicField DataField="UserId" UIHint="Label" /> <asp:DynamicField DataField="Address" UIHint="Address"/> <asp:DynamicField DataField="CreatedDate" UIHint="Label" /> </Columns> But, before displaying I want to do some processing in C# code for each row. In normal ASP.net grid view we can handle OnRowDataBound method, and using FindControl("controlid") we can get the control instance, but in case of dynamic data, I am not getting any id attribute for columns, so I am not able to get the control instance to show updated data in that control depending on some conditions.     Hello, I recently started with Magento and decided to migrate Interspire shopping cart I already made time ago to it. At first look Magento seems a very huge beast - lots of options, maybe lack of simplicity resulting in some performance loss. I've got user guide from which I am not getting much of benefit since there're just descriptions of very ordinary tasks that I could easily discover myself by poking around frontend/backend. So my first tasks are category and product export. Interspire seems to be exporting ONLY products in three available formats: Default MYOB Peachtree accounting I did some searching on Magento's product importing and found a blog post which says that I should create a few sample products with all the necessary attributes myself and then start the import. But what should I do with categories ? Is it possible to import them or instruct Magento to automatically create categories when importing product file if unknown category is encountered ? Thanks

    Hello all, I have some custom control inside of which i should create radiobuttons or checkboxes. The count of child controls is available only at runtime (it loads some file from which it gets this count). So i need to create variable number of controls. Which collection i should use for this purpose? Solution 1: simply use std::vector (or CArray) - not suitable because i want use MFC (CButton). Of course i can Attach() and later Detach() handle to window each time i need this window, but it will give big overhead. Solution 2: use std::vector or CArray or CList or... In this case i take care about making 'new' and appropriate 'delete' when control is unneeded. I am forgetful :) MFC handle map contains pointer to CButton and i can't use simple CArray, because it will move my objects each time when his size will grow. ... and the question is: Which collection i should use for containing variable count of MFC control classes?

But when I use $('#treeview li span.Running').click(); nothing happen. I catch the click event using $('#treeview li span').live('click',function(){ .... }); I try with jQuery instead of $ and it was unsuccessful. Thank you in advance. BR.

When I execute the above command I get error No such file or directory but when i chmod the file to 644 it says Permission denied the file is present at the location. I get the error when i'm trying to open a database in PocketPC emulator or from the program with connection's Open() method(C#)..Here it is: Description: Internal error: SQL Server Compact made an unsupported request to the host operating system. Can someone explain what can cause this error to appear. The database and application are on Storage Card(shared folder from PC, on which Everyone has read/write permissions)Thank you. FOUND that its because of storing DB on Storage Card(after moving database to 'My Documents' error disappears), but still don't know the reason of error.

    Hello, I have PHP page where users can upload photos (using Ajax & PHP script). Those uploaded photos (thumbs) are shown after upload in DIV below upload field. Then, after hitting send button I want to clone that DIV at that same page at message board, bellow other messages with or without uploaded photos. When I try to do that with: var pht = $("#photos").clone().addClass('p_pht'); and try to display sent photos bellow sent message like this: $("div#wall").append('<div class=msg>'+ message +'</div><div class=n_pht>'+ pht +'</div>'); I get Jquery error message "[object Object]" in place where the photos should be displaying. What am I doing wrong?

    Hello all, I'm trying some basic iPhone programming -- all has been going well but recently I've hit a bit of a roadblock. I've got a chunk of code that's passing an NSMutableDictionary (amongst other things) to a method in another class: [self.shuttle makeAPICallAndReturnResultsUsingMode:@"login" module:@"login" query:credentials]; The NSMutableArray credentials is previously defined a bit above as such: NSMutableDictionary *credentials = [[NSMutableDictionary alloc] init]; [credentials setObject:username forKey:@"username"]; [credentials setObject:password forKey:@"password"]; The method that receives it looks like such: -(id)makeAPICallAndReturnResultsUsingMode:(NSString *)mode module:(NSString *)module query:(NSMutableDictionary *)query From debugging I have determined that the code works fine up until this point within the above method: [query setObject:self.sessionID forKey:@"session_id"]; At this point, the application terminates -- the Console informs me of this exception: * Terminating app due to uncaught exception 'NSInvalidArgumentException', reason: '* -[NSCFDictionary setObject:forKey:]: method sent to an uninitialized mutable dictionary object' This leads me to believe that I must initialize NSMutableDictionary in some way in my new method before I can access it, but I have no idea how. Any advice?

  • Eclipse Search Only Specific Folders

    Hello, I already saw the answers for a question almost identical to this: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/443169/eclipse-exclude-folders-from-search. However I am looking for a resolution that would allow me to say look at 10 of my 200 folders and those 10 change all the time. Is there a way I can search through just 1 folder and avoid any other folders that are not inside it? I don't want to create a different project as I am using SVN and I have had cases with mxml files and other files that adding a file that we moved from one project to another caused problems for other developers.

    Hello. I'm trying to use a select object to filter the results of a many to many rowset. This call works great: $articles = $this->model->findArticlesViaArticlesUsers(); This however does not: $articles = new Default_Model_Articles(); $articleSelect = $articles->select(); $articleSelect->where("status = 'published'") ->order("date_published DESC") ->limit(1); $articles = $this->model->findArticlesViaArticlesUsers($articleSelect); That throws the following error: exception 'Zend_Db_Select_Exception' with message 'You cannot define a correlation name 'i' more than once' I can't figure out how to successfully get "articles that have the status of 'published'" using the magic many-to-many relationship (nor findManyToManyRowset). I'm at the end of my rope and thinking of just writing the sql manually. Any ideas?
