• Windows Datacenter 2008 recovery ISO

  Hello, I am using virtualBox with windows datacenter to play around with some web development. The last time I had to shut down the computer, it installed an update and shut down normally. When I rebooted, it started doing a checkdisk and processed a bunch of files (from hard poweroffs before mabey). Now when I start, I get a bluescreen of death every time it loads (Safe mode,etc) I have googled around for a boot / recovery disk, but can't seem to find one for datacenter. Cheers -Will

• IE9 GPO Setting "Configure Tracking Protection Lists"

  I've just installed IE9 on my workstations and Server in our network. According to technet article http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg699401.aspx There is a GPO setting for IE9 called "Configure Tracking Protection Lists" located at Windows Components\Internet Explorer\Privacy in the admistrative templates. I can find all the other IE9 settings in the GPO, but I cannot find this one. Does anyone know if there is an updated template, or if this setting was removed from the RC version of IE9? • Why do I receive an error when I open an Office 2010 Document from my NAS?

  I've installed the release to manufacture version of Office 2010 and I can't open documents stored on my Network Attached Storage device. I receive a generic error dialog stating some generic troubleshooting the first of which is related to permissions. I can't find the special checkbox of which I'm sure there is one, to allow word to open files from this file share.

  I've got Mantis running on a Linux VM with a Win2k8 server host. I installed Samba with the following configuration: [global] workgroup = COMPANY netbios name = MANTIS security = share Now on all our windows machines people can simple go to http://mantis, rather than http://172.16.0.20. However, this doesn't appear to work on the Mac machines. Any ideas how I can sort this without changing anything on the Windows server?

• Sysinternal's Process Explorer v14 doesn't show network activity

  The new version of Process Explorer shows network activity history, but it doesn't in one of my computers. This particular PC runs Windows XP SP3 and it has just been reformatted so everything is "fresh". I have even installed WinPCap and Microsoft Network monitor, in case some of these drivers were necessary, but the graph stays in 0. Any ideas why this could happen? I would ask in Sysinternal's forum, but I really don't want to register in yet another forum.

  Hello, I have spent the afternoon trying to install the mod_proxy module into apache. I have tried ./configure --prefix=/opt/apache2 --enable-proxy --enable-proxy-http ./configure --prefix=/opt/apache2 --enable-module=proxy After it finishes installing, navigating to /opt/apache2/modules only shows one file: httpd.exp. It seems that the module is not being installed. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
