  I have custom control - chart with size, for example, 300x300 pixels and more than one million points (maybe less) in it. And its clear that now he works very slowly. I am searching for algoritm which will show only few points with minimal visual difference. • facebook and twitter buttons doesn't work

  I am building a website in dreamweaver cs5. for some reason, the facebook like button and twitter share as well as follow button doesn't work. facebook like button shows nothing. (in the area, chrome says page cannot be found), twitter buttons show the hyperlink tweet and it tweets but the icon doesn't show up. The code for both are generated from facebook and twitter itself. I haven't hosted the site yet. I and coding and previewing it. Is that the reason for them not to work? I also tried addthis.com widget. It didn't show up as it should have. Please help! • iPhone: Where can I find those arrow icons used on the toolbar of the Photo Library (Camera Roll)

  Hello. I am looking for those arrow icons (a left white arrow and a white right arrow) that are used on the lower toolbar of the Photo Library (or Camera Roll). I also have seen them on the Facebook app and some other custom apps. I am surprised that they are not built in "UIBarButtonSystemItem" icons. Can anybody point me to these icons?

• drupal views block arguments

  I currently have a view (Drupal 6 using Views2) that properly aggregates a custom content type (videos) and filters them for a page display. When I create a block display, it previews the results in live preview just great, but when i go to the page expecting to see the block it doesn't appear. I'm fairly certain the argument I'm attempting to pass it fails because when I select "Display all results" for "Action to take if argument does not validate:" the block shows up on the page just fine. Any advice definitely appreciated.

  I'm creating a custom ActionResult class and I need it to be able to operate on a UserControl. All of the examples I've found so far pass in the full path like so: return MyResult("~/ControllerName/UserControlName.ascx", myModel); But I'd like it to operate the same way as calling View(), i.e. I just pass in the name and MVC determines the correct route: return MyResult("UserControlName", myModel); Is there a way I can find out the correct route to the control without specifying it manually?

  Using WiX, we would like to be able to uninstall a previous version if it is already installed. I am able to do this automatically based on the thread here. But how does one go about prompting the user if they actually want to uninstall the old version first, before running the RemoveExistingProducts action? ie. through a custom menu item that only launches if FindRelatedProducts returns 1, for example?

  I have a table of items (let's call it WIDGET) that each have their own eight-digit barcode numbers stored in a VARCHAR field (let's call it BARCODE; the table's primary key is in a separate integer field ID). My problem is that some personnel have omitted the leading zeros instead of entering the entire number while others have not. All new data is being entered with all eight digits present, but I would like to update all the existing records (several hundred in all) to eight digits for the sake of consistency. 1 → 00000001 234 → 00000234 5678 → 00005678 00009012 → 00009012 I know FrontBase supports all of SQL-92, but SQL-92 has no function specifically for left-padding strings. I already came up with a solution, but I am posting this question to see if anyone can think of a better way of doing this than I did.

In fact, this is working now. The callback prototype in GTK documentation is "gpointer data" and not "gpointer *data" as shown in code, what I want to know is: how this can work ? Is this safe ?

  I am trying to make a custom selection box for an image view I created and I am trying to use strokeRect: from NSBezierPath but it always seems to be transparent. Called the method set to set the color the blackColor and then also tried using olorWithDeviceRed:green:blue:alpha: but no matter what I have tried the rectangle created always seems to be transparent. Is there a better method to use to draw an empty rectangle?
