  • CodeIgniter not working on PHP 4 server without .htaccess availability

    Hi All, Basically i developed my app on a localhost wamp server with PHP 5. ON uploading to the actual host i notice that The server is running php 4.4.9 Everytime i upload my .htaccess file, the server removes it completely.. seems to not be allowed When i test out the set all i get is a 404 page not found Any help on how to make it work on this PHP 4 server?

    Hi guys, is it possible to retain upon authorization a single session token for a user who signs into my gogle application. CUrrently my application seems to every now and then require the user to authenticate into google apps. I think it has to do with session dying out or so.     I am trying to set up a new GitHub account as part of learning ruby on rails. My OS is windows. I am having the following problem while trying to add my public key to the GitHub SSH public keys. When I put the key in the text area, supply a name, and click 'Add Key', I am taken to the Job profile page without any confirmation that the key has been added.(I am using SSH client GUI to generate RSA keys).   • Program compiled with MSVC 9 won't start on a vanilla SP3 XP

    I installed XP on a virtual machine, updated it to SP3 and then tested a small program compiled with Visual C++ 2008 on my real computer - however it didn't start but outputted only an error saying that a problem had been detected and that a reinstall of the application (mine is 10KB in size and doesn't even have an installation) could fix the problem. What is required to run programs compiled with MSVC 9? Can I just include some dlls for it to work everywhere?
