  • Keep the current Jquery accordion pane open after asp.net postback?

    I have a jquery accordion on an asp.net aspx weppage. Inside the panes, I have asp.net buttons. When I click on the button, the pane I was in, closes and reloads the page, defaulting to the first pane. I don't mind the reload, but is there a way to keep the current pane open after the reload. Right now, I am just calling accordion() on a div with the id of accordion.

    I can't seem to get the ASP.NET engine to handle ALL wildcard mapping. When I try to make a request that is supposed to be handled by the asp.net engine, i get a 404 error from the StaticFile handler Here is the content of my web.config file.     OK I'm completely stumped here: I have installed (and reinstalled) ASP.NET MVC2 installed several times and I still can't see the ASP.NET MVC2 project templates shown in Visual Web Developer 2008 Express. I had checked the default project directory templates and had verified that those templates are installed, for example these templates files are found C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 9.0\Common7\IDE\VWDExpress\ProjectTemplates\CSharp\Web\1033: EmptyMvcWebApplicationProjectTemplatev2.0.cs.zip MvcWebApplicationProjectTemplatev2.0.cs.zip Any idea of tracking what's the problem and fix it?

I delete Temporary ASP.NET File's folder and Removed the class library from the solution and i added again several times ,But No difference could you help me at this please ?

    On my personal website, i would like to make it "pronounce" something I solved the "concept" problem, as in here, and on my desktop it works smoothly when launched from visual web developer. Actually ASP.NET MVC generates this syntax for its urls: /Controller/Action/Id Last week I was trying to encrypt it using SHA-1 Encryption, but this encrypter generates some special symbols like + (plus), / (slash), and other annoying chars which difficult the decryption. Perhaps creating a custom encryption should solve the problem. But I wanna here from you guys, do you have some ideas to protect mvc urls?

For example, If the control is on site.com/products/fish/cans.aspx the link href will be rewritten to read <a href="../../Controls/?pg=1 Why does Asp.Net rewrite these control paths, and is there an elegant way to fix it?

Given that, I'm wondering where in a standard ASP.NET web forms application do response headers get added initially. Is it possible to specify either configuration that the events and exceptions for a particular application has to be logged in a specific event log Source? The reason is that I would want all issues directly related to my application to be stored in a separate event log category that can then be filtered against.
