    Hi I am looking for a solution for facebook connect for Android. Before I used an open source solution from codecarpet: http://code.google.com/p/fbconnect-android/ but now it doesnt work anymore. Now the Official facebook connect for Android is out, but there are about 11 big time issues and it fails almost all the time, so its not a real solution. http://github.com/facebook/facebook-android-sdk/ Any idea how to resolve this issue?     I'd like for any url that doesn't hit an existing file, to do a lookup on the other possible cases and see if those files exist, and if so, 302 to them. If that's not possible, then I'm ok with these compromises: Only check the lowercase version Only check the first path portion For example http://example.com/CoOl/PaTH/CaMELcaSE should redirect to http://example.com/cool/path/camelCase (assuming the latter exists). but of course a full solution is much more useful to me and others

  • How to "enable" HTML5 elements in IE that were inserted by AJAX call?

    IE does not work good with unknown elements (ie. HTML5 elements), one cannot style them , or access most of their props. Their are numerous work arounds for this for example: http://remysharp.com/2009/01/07/html5-enabling-script/ The problem is that this works great for static HTML that was available on page load, but when one creates HTML5 elements afterward (for example AJAX call containing them, or simply creating with JS), it will mark these newly added elements them as HTMLUnknownElement as supposed to HTMLGenericElement (in IE debugger). Does anybody know a work around for that, so that newly added elements will be recognized/enabled by IE?     Hi everyone, I am working on a photo gallery, each thumbnail is in its own DIV and floated to the left in a containing DIV. It has been displaying properly up until vertical thumbnails entered the equation. Now, when the next row should start, the first item of the following row is to the left of the last vertical DIV (thumbnail), rather than flush to the left of the containing DIV.     I need help with a rewrite in .htaccess. I am trying to do the following: When a user types http://www.example.com/csc/alabama/ I need to pull info from http://www.example.com/csc/index.php?state=alabama I thought it should be this Options +FollowSymLinks RewriteEngine On RewriteRule ^csc/([^/]*)$ /csc/index.php?state=$1 [L] I keep getting a 404 error. On a side note, I would like to be able to do this with a generic sub-directory, so that csc could be abc or anything else but this is not the priority.

  • OpenRasta overwriting Content-Length header in HEAD responses

    I'm creating a pretty simple HTTP service using OpenRasta. For HEAD requests, the HTTP 1.1 spec states that HEAD requests should have the Content-Length set to "the size of the entity-body that would have been sent had the request been a GET" (section 14.13). However, OpenRasta apparently sees that the response body is empty and automatically sets the Content-Length header to "0". What is the recommended way to override this behavior? Thanks-

    I'm using the Zend Router and so things like (/ and /index.php) or (/about and /index.php/about) ends up as the same here. However, /index.php/whatever should not exist as it is the exactly same resource as /whatever so it doesn't make a sense the duplication. How do I avoid this? Even http://zendframework.com/manual/en/zend.controller.router.html and http://zendframework.com/index.php/manual/en/zend.controller.router.html both exists. It doesn't make any sense at all...

    Hi stackoverflow, i can create an album using facebook graph api by posting data to http://graph.facebook.com/PROFILE_ID/albums it returns an id, which is not the album id. I confirmed it in two ways by going to that album, aid is different than what id i received and by posting http://graph.facebook.com/{ALBUM_ID_I_RECIEVED/photos, but the photo is never published to newly created album instead it is published to a default application album. I need to know the real album id so that i can upload images to newly created album. Please Help
