    Ok I've been curious about this for a while. In the C language where did they come up with the name atoi for converting a string to an integer? The only thing I can think of is Array To Integer for an acronym but that doesn't really make sense.

    I have a problem with Hibernate Native Query. I have one SELECT that selects array slice (PostgreSQL database). The problem is that hibernate recognizes the following part: ":300" from "SELECT my_array[1:300]..." as named parameter and I get the following exception: Not all named parameters have been set. I tried to escape the colon (:) with '\:' , '::' but with no success. The Hibernate version is 3.2

Edit: Hi Thanks. close = dataobj.get_data(timestamps, symbols, closefield) Is (I assume) generating a matrix of integers (less likely strings). I need to find the size of that matrix, so I can run some tests without having to iterate through all of the elements. As far as the data type goes, I assume it's an array of arrays (or list of lists).

    I am trying to extract level data from a PCM audio file using core audio. I have gotten as far as (I believe) getting the raw data into a byte array (UInt8) but it is 16 bit PCM data and I am having trouble reading the data out.     Hi, I'm trying to output lists of objects as json and would like to know if there's a way to make objects usable to json_encode? The code I've got looks something like $related = $user->getRelatedUsers(); echo json_encode($related); Right now, I'm just iterating through the array of users and individually exporting them into arrays for json_encode to turn into usable json for me. I've already tried making the objects iterable, but json_encode just seems to skip them anyway.

  • Simple stream read/write question in java

    Hi, I'm trying to upload a file via URLConnection, but i need to read/write it as a binary file without any encoding changes. So i've tried to read byte[] array from FileInputStream, but now i have an issue. The PrintWriter object i use for outputing to the server does not allow me to do writer.write(content) (where content is of type byte[]). How can i fix this? Or is there another way to quickly copy binary data from a FileInputStream to a PrintWriter? Thank you
