  • Unable to access certain websites [closed]

    I am unable to access certain websites from my PC viz. google.com, gmail.com , stackoverflow.com, etc. However, I am able to access facebook.com, twitter.com, infoq.com etc. Currently I am accessing Google via proxy server. I suspect that the problem might exist with websites that have used ASP for scripting. Please suggest a solution to the problem that I am facing.

    I want to cache all the images on my site, so I used this code: <%Response.AddHeader "Expires","Tue, 2 October 2013 00:00:00 GMT"%> The problem is that google says the images are not cached, whenever I go to this site: https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed Also in chrome, I can see that it gives a Get response for all the images. Why is that and how can I cache the images for the next year.

So the authentication happens at Google.com and it sets the cookie. So my question now is how does Orkut.com able to read this cookie or authenticate the user with no other information ? I want to make it so Google & any other search engines do not visit my pages on the link tracker.
