  • Keep the current Jquery accordion pane open after asp.net postback?

    I have a jquery accordion on an asp.net aspx weppage. Inside the panes, I have asp.net buttons. When I click on the button, the pane I was in, closes and reloads the page, defaulting to the first pane. I don't mind the reload, but is there a way to keep the current pane open after the reload. Right now, I am just calling accordion() on a div with the id of accordion.

    I can't seem to get the ASP.NET engine to handle ALL wildcard mapping. When I try to make a request that is supposed to be handled by the asp.net engine, i get a 404 error from the StaticFile handler Here is the content of my web.config file.     Hi , While validating my CSS on http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/ I am getting following errors: 1.Property zoom doesn't exist : 1 1. 2.Property -webkit-transition doesn't exist : all 200ms ease-in all 200ms ease-in 3.Property opacity doesn't exist in CSS level 2.1 4.Property -moz-border-radius doesn't exist 5.Property -webkit-border-radius doesn't exist Is it really required to validate the MarkUp and CSS completely for SEO or these errors which mostly are browser specific can be ignored for now. If these errors have to removed can someone please suggest the way to do so also.

    OK I'm completely stumped here: I have installed (and reinstalled) ASP.NET MVC2 installed several times and I still can't see the ASP.NET MVC2 project templates shown in Visual Web Developer 2008 Express. I had checked the default project directory templates and had verified that those templates are installed, for example these templates files are found C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 9.0\Common7\IDE\VWDExpress\ProjectTemplates\CSharp\Web\1033: EmptyMvcWebApplicationProjectTemplatev2.0.cs.zip MvcWebApplicationProjectTemplatev2.0.cs.zip Any idea of tracking what's the problem and fix it?

I delete Temporary ASP.NET File's folder and Removed the class library from the solution and i added again several times ,But No difference could you help me at this please ?

When I click the checkbox to change the panel, the panel just disappears instantly and the new one appears instantly, but I want it to be animated as if I clicked the headers. Is there a way to cause the animation to happen when force changing the visible panel?

    I'm creating a ASP.NET MVC website and I was wandering which techniques do you guys use to protect primary key on these mvc urls. Actually ASP.NET MVC generates this syntax for its urls: /Controller/Action/Id Last week I was trying to encrypt it using SHA-1 Encryption, but this encrypter generates some special symbols like + (plus), / (slash), and other annoying chars which difficult the decryption. Perhaps creating a custom encryption should solve the problem. But I wanna here from you guys, do you have some ideas to protect mvc urls?

    I have UserControls in a Controls folder in my solution: /Controls/TheControl.ascx If specify the following: <a runat="server" href="./?pg=1">link text</a> ASP.Net seems to want to rewrite the path to point to the absolute location. For example, If the control is on site.com/products/fish/cans.aspx the link href will be rewritten to read <a href="../../Controls/?pg=1 Why does Asp.Net rewrite these control paths, and is there an elegant way to fix it?

Given that, I'm wondering where in a standard ASP.NET web forms application do response headers get added initially. For example, these: Date Fri, 23 Apr 2010 16:25:56 GMT Server Microsoft-IIS/6.0 X-Powered-By ASP.NET Cache-Control private And can I stop it from happening? Do subsequent headers override old headers? Does my question even make sense? Thanks.
