• Flex ItemRenderer Issue

  Am using Checkbox as ItemRenderer in tilelist. Am trying to setting checkbox selected values through xml. I got the values perfectly.. but checkbox could not bind the values(could not accept that). It's automatically sets true for all checkboxes. • Is it possible to search locally in jqGrid with treeGrid installed

  I am using jqGrid with treeGrid. I have added a filterToolbar. I would like to search locally instead of having a server call. The treegrid docs say that, "When we initialize the grid and the data is read, the datatype is automatically set to local." So, is it possible to implement local search with treeGrid. I tried the below configuration, but it is resulting in server calls. • JQuery jqGrid vertical spacing issue in IE

  I have been developing an app to use jQuery's jqGrid plugin, and I thought I had it all wrapped up until I tried to view the grid in IE. In IE, the grid appears with a much larger height in the .ui-jqgrid-view div, but the data itself stays at a smaller size and displays at the bottom of the container div (.ui-jqgrid-view). I need to get the grid to display "properly". I don't care if it is the larger size (that IE displays) or smaller (as in FF)... I just need to have the data fill the grid area. Thanks!   I've got a few demo videos I've been making as tutorials, and I'm using a link to open a dialog box and put the demo video in that box. I use the same div to show other notes on the page when a user selects to view a complete note. However, when I click the demoVid, the dialog opens, but then closing the dialog kills any other 'showNote' dialogs on the page, so I can't open any more notes, or demo videos.

  Sorry if the title was confusing; I've included some screen shots to more clearly explain my problem. I have a page that has a side navigation menu on the left, and a main div (with the tables) on the right: When the page is resized to be smaller, the "overflow-x:auto" property of the "main" div brings up a horizontal scrollbar: However, when the window becomes narrow to the point that the "main" div reaches the border of the side navigation menu (with the title "Contents"), the "main" div ceases to continue producing the horizontal scrollbar and instead meshes with the menu: Here is the CSS for the "main" div: #main { height: 100%; width: 65%; min-width: 10%; float:right; overflow-y: auto; overflow-x: auto; padding: 0 20px 20px;} and the left side menu: #sidenav{ margin-left: 20px; float: left; overflow-x:auto; overflow-y:auto;} Both of those divs are encapsulated together in "container": .container { bottom: 20px; left: 0; position: absolute; right: 0; top: 50px; } How can I rewrite my code in such a way that the "main" div will continue to use its horizontal scrollbar, and never cross the boundary of the side navigation menu? • Java Applet not caching

  Hello world, I'm having a problem with a Java applet I've deployed that is refusing to be cached in the jvm's "sticky" cache (or by the browser). For some reason every time a user loads the page this applet is on, the jvm re-downloads the jar file from the server which causes a long delay. The webpage containing the applet is being accessed via the internet, so according to Sun's Java applet documentation I'm using an <applet> tag rather than an <object> or <embed> tag. Any help debugging or identifying the problem would be much appreciated. I'd rather fix the CSS to make it show correctly.

Training is declared public so it should be present in DataGrid. What could be causing the problem?

  I've been struggling with vertical alignments, a seemingly simple enough process that has a lot of idiosyncrasies throughout different languages and element types. I've done a lot of reading through stackexchange and can't seem to find a common thread of understanding. Here are the rules that I have been able to gather: 1) Vertical-align does not work in <\div>s, you have to set div {display: table-cell; vertical-align: middle} This seems like a big hassle, especially since table-cells override the height limitation even when overflow is set to hidden and expands to fit content, which means the vertical "center" is variable. I just read some source-code from Pinterest where button {vertical-align: middle}, but no other vertical-align commands seem to work. It seems as if button is by default aligned in the middle. Can someone provide a clear explanation for the vertical-align attribute? What html elements respond to vertical-align? Which html elements have default vertical-align attributes? Which html elements have non-overridable vertical-align attributes? And any clues as to understanding the idiosyncracies would help as well! Thanks in advance!

I still want the combobox to have a two-way bind between its selected item and a property on the collection of objects... I have the following in code: PitcherListBox.DataContext = this; Basically in the end, I want the combobox within the listbox to have a different itemssource than the listbox itself. I can't seem to figure out how to change the ComboBox's ItemsSource in XAML. Can someone provide me some feedback? Thanks!

• How can I get the dimensions of a drawn string without padding?

  I'm trying to create an image with some text on it and I want the image's size to match the size of the rendered text. When I use System.Windows.Forms.TextRenderer.MeasureText(...) to measure the text, I get dimensions that include font padding. When the text is rendered, it seems to use the same padding. Is there any way to determine the size of a string of text and then render it without any padding? • Letter placement error with GD2, TTF and PHP

  Some time ago I made a script that takes some text and returns it as an image, and worked flawlessly. But I'm not sure since when a weird bug started to happen. The letters that have a (my apologies to the font geeks) "glyph" on the left get pushed to the right so the letter starts on it, but leaves space only for the main letter, hehe, I think an example should do it. • jeditable not updating browser display - leaves "click to edit..." after succesful edit

  I am using jeditable fairly simply and it all works fine, updates the database, etc. The only problem I have is after the user types the new value data and hits enter it doesn't update the field in the browser to show the new value - instead it puts "Click to edit..." in place of it. Am I missing something like a return value from my php file? the php fucntion just takes the args and updates the database - and it works fine. • pass Validation error to UI element in WPF?

  I am using IDataErrorInfo to validate my data in a form in WPF. I have the validation implemented in my presenter. The actual validation is happening, but the XAML that's supposed to update the UI and set the style isn't happening. Here it is: <Style x:Key="textBoxInError" TargetType="{x:Type TextBox}"> <Style.Triggers> <Trigger Property="Validation.HasError" Value="true"> <Setter Property="ToolTip" Value="{Binding RelativeSource={x:Static RelativeSource.Self}, Path=(Validation.Errors)[0].ErrorContent}"/> <Setter Property="Background" Value="Red"/> </Trigger> </Style.Triggers> </Style> The problem is that my binding to Validation.Errors contains no data. How do I get this data from the Presenter class and pass it to this XAML so as to update the UI elements?   Hi I was wondering how to resize matrices in a beamer environment. Currently I am writing the following code: \begin{align*} \left( \begin{array}{ccccccc} 0 & 1 & & & & & \\ -1 & 0 & & & & & \\ & & 0 & 1 & & & \\ & & -1 & 0 & & & \\ & & & & \ddots & & \\ & & & & & 0 & 1 \\ & & & & & -1 & 0 \end{array} \right) \end{align*} and the matrix takes up almost a whole page. I would like it to be about half a page in height.

• How can I include additional markup within a 'Content' inner property within an ASP.Net WebControl?

  I've searched the site and I cannot find a solution for my problem, so apologies if it's already been answered (I'm sure someone must have asked this before). I have written a jQuery Popup window that I've packaged up as a WebControl and IScriptControl. The last step is to be able to write the markup within the tags of my control. I've used the InnerProperty attribute a few times, but only for including lists of strongly typed classes. Here's my property on the WebControl: [PersistenceMode(PersistenceMode.InnerProperty)] [DesignerSerializationVisibility(DesignerSerializationVisibility.Content)] public something???   I haven't written anything with GDI for a while now (and never with GDI+), and I'm just working on a fun project, but for the life of me, I can't figure out how to double buffer GDI+ void DrawStuff(HWND hWnd) { HDC hdc; HDC hdcBuffer; PAINTSTRUCT ps; hdc = BeginPaint(hWnd, &ps); hdcBuffer = CreateCompatibleDC(hdc); Graphics graphics(hdc); graphics.Clear(Color::Black); // drawing stuff, i.e. bunnies: Image bunny(L"bunny.gif"); graphics.DrawImage(&bunny, 0, 0, bunny.GetWidth(), bunny.GetHeight()); BitBlt(hdc, 0,0, WIDTH , HEIGHT, hdcBuffer, 0,0, SRCCOPY); EndPaint(hWnd, &ps); } The above works (everything renders perfectly), but it flickers. If I change Graphics graphics(hdc); to Graphics graphics(hdcBuffer);, I see nothing (although I should be bitblt'ing the buffer-hWnd hdc at the bottom). My message pipeline is set up properly (WM_PAINT calls DrawStuff), and I'm forcing a WM_PAINT message every program loop by calling RedrawWindow(window, NULL, NULL, RDW_ERASE | RDW_INVALIDATE | RDW_UPDATENOW); I'm probably going about the wrong way to do this, any ideas? The MSDN documentation is cryptic at best.
