    Hi, I've created this registration form for registering new users to a website using CodeIgniter. My problem is, whenever I enter a username that already exists in my database, instead of giving me my error message which explains this to the user, it instead gives me this error message: Unable to access an error message corresponding to your field name Here are snippets of the code from my controller.     I have a web service that is working fine in one environment but not in another. The web service gets document meta data from SharePoint, it running on a server where I cant debug but with logging I confirmed that the method enters and exits successfully. What could be the reason for the errors?     I imported a website made in visual studio express 2008 to visual studio express 2010. When I run the home page I get the following error: "It is an error to use a section registered as allowDefinition='MachineToApplication' beyond application level. This error can be caused by a virtual directory not being configured as an application in IIS." When I looked up the meaning of this on Google I read their needed to be a change to the configuration of the virtual directory. Another suggestion was to change the web config files . T Were these suggestions correct? If so how do I emplement them so that I can view these website pages on my local machine.

    Hello everyone, I have what I suspect to be a logic problem with an algorithm I am using to work with Video timecode in PHP. All help is appreciated. The Objective Well basically I want to work with timecode and perform calculations For those not familiar with timecode it looks like this 01:10:58:12 or HH:MM:SS:FF 'AKA' HOURS:MINUTES:SECONDS:FRAMES I have used the script from HERE to help me with working with this format. The Problem Now can i just say that this script works!!! Timecode calculations (in this case additions) are being performed correctly.     We are designing set of web services which will return XML string in response. These are RESTFul services so I will have to send exception inside element. I am planing to design set of Error code which can help me determine where level occured just by looking at the code. For Example 1000 - Application Level 2000 - DB level 3000 - Network level so if I have error message then I can know right away that this was an application level error and it came from 1st business module. Why does it compile after the original exception specification is included in the override? What have I misunderstood?

Machine has Vista SP1 which means the MDAC installer will not work since MDAC 2.8 is already included.   • flex builder 3 compiler won't show errors or compile specific pages

    In flexbuilder 3 for some mxml files I can purposely put in syntax errors and the compiler will seem to compile the specific page(but actually not compile it) or report any errors for that page. Is there any way that you know of to get the compiler to report the errors to me so I can get it to compile the page. I've tried rebuilding all and cleaning the project already.

I know putting a ; at the end of Canvas::Canvas() is wrong but that seems to be what it expects. Could someone please clarify for me? (Also, I know much of the code for the << and operator definitions look terrible, but unless that is the specific reason for the error please do not address it. This is a draft :) )

  • PHP - white screen of death!

    Hi everyone, After debugging a codeigniter app that were installed into a new development environment, I have started to freak out when seeing white screens with nothing more available. I have been able to solve each and every one of the errors that have caused this, but it have taken seriously way too long time. PHP error_reporting(E_ALL) & display_errors", 1 is set as well. I even installed Xdebug in hope of getting more output, but no. My logging settings are also working, but nothing is written to the log. Is there a way to get something informative printed out instead of a complete white screen? It would certainly shorten my time spent on solving the eventual errors that causes this? Thanks a lot!   • compile a single ASP.NET (.aspx) page from the command line

    I have a Perl script that calls aspnet_compiler.exe to compile a large ASP.NET website. The problem is that it takes very long to run. Is there any way to compile just a single .aspx file from the command line? (I think that would suit the needs of my script) It seems that all aspnet_compiler.exe can do is compile at a directory level.
