  • Getting hp-snmp-agents on HP ProLiant DL360 on Lenny working

    After receiving our HP ProLiant DL360 I'd like to integrate the machine into our Munin system and thus enable ProLiant specific information to be exposed via SNMP. I'm running Debian Lenny with kernel 2.6.26-2-vserver-amd64 . I've followed http://downloads.linux.hp.com/SDR/getting_started.html and the HP repository has been added to /etc/apt/sources.list.d/HP-ProLiantSupportPack.list . Setting up Lenny SNMP itself is not a problem, I configure it to have a public v1 community string to read all data and it works. I install hp-snmp-agents and run hpsnmpconfig and it adds additional lines to the top of /etc/snmp/snmpd.conf : dlmod cmaX /usr/lib64/libcmaX64.so snmpd gets restarted. Via lsof I can see that libcmaX64 was loaded and is used by snmpd, put I do not get any additional information out of snmp. I use snmpwalk -v 1 -c public ... and I can see many OIDs but I do not see the new ones I'd expect, most notably temperatures, fan speed and such. I've also noticed that from the time I installed hp-snmp-agents it adds a lot of additional daemons and that my load suddenly jumps to 1. I've uninstalled the package for now. Is this expected behavior?

    I can't deploy/manage my Joomla websites On Ubuntu 12.04 Zend Server PHP 5.3.14 due to permissions during Joomla installation/J! extensions installation. All files are unwriteable. Only CHMOD 777 will help but of course it's not resolving the problem due to security issues. I think it's because cgi-fcgi is not shipped with Zend Server (only with Zend Server for Windows) Or maybe there is different solution how to make it work? Now I need t kill it, nuke it - get it out of there. Out of the dnd.Source, out of the DOM... gone. Any ideas how to do it safely? It will be the ONLY node in the list at the time we do whatever it is we are goign to do to kill the thing. Thanks!

    After searching around i still have no clue about the best practice to reorder a set of items in mobile safari. I'm currently using, in the desktop version of my webapplication, jQuery sortable function applied to a set of table rows, with an ajax callback to update items positioning. What would be the best way of doing this in mobile safari through jquery or plain javascript? The table is longer then the screen, so also the normal scrolling should be present. Other approaches that are usable and do not make use of drag and dropping are also welcome. Thanks.

    After some searching i figured out how dragdrop is implemented for a picturebox. But there is one thing - the (inherited of course) allowdrop property isn't accessible from code or property window of picturebox class. So to make it work i added following line to my form-load: ((Control)pictureBox1).AllowDrop = true; Why do i have to do that? In msdn it says: "This API supports the .NET Framework infrastructure and is not intended to be used directly from your code." Any explanation appreciated and sorry for my grammar ;)

  • Silverlight Toolkit ListBoxDragTarget Only One Way

    I've got a Silverlight 3 app that has two ListBoxes that I need to be able to drag items between. I've got the toolkit control working so that I can drag from ListBox lbA to ListBox lbB but i then can't drag the item from lbB back to lbA. <toolkit:ListBoxDragDropTarget mswindows:DragDrop.AllowDrop="True"> <ListBox x:Name="lbA" Style="{StaticResource ListBoxStyle}"> <ListBox.ItemTemplate> <DataTemplate> <TextBlock Text="{Binding DisplayMember}"/> </DataTemplate> </ListBox.ItemTemplate> </ListBox> </toolkit:ListBoxDragDropTarget> <toolkit:ListBoxDragDropTarget mswindows:DragDrop.AllowDrop="True"> <ListBox x:Name="lbB" Style="{StaticResource ListBoxStyle}" Width="350"> <ListBox.ItemTemplate> <DataTemplate> <TextBlock Text="{Binding DisplayMember}"/> </DataTemplate> </ListBox.ItemTemplate> </ListBox> </toolkit:ListBoxDragDropTarget> I'm binding lbA to an ObservableCollection of MyObject items which is a parent class for objects MyObjectA and MyObjectB (and there is a mix of ChildObjectA and ChildObjectB items). Is the one way behaviour I'm seeing due to binding to a collection MyObjects or something else i'm missing?

    Does anyone know how to do snap-to-grid in Cappuccino? Basically, I have draggable objects which I can drag into a target area. The target view needs to be set up with snap-to-grid feature. I've seen it with Mockingbird, so it's definitely possible. Any info is appreciated. Thanks!

  • Page zoom slows down page rendering

    I'm building a map viewer much like Google maps and i've run into an interesting performance problem when a page is zoomed (i.e ctrl + OR ctrl -). It seems to affect all major browsers but Firefox has the worst problems as far as I can tell. The problem is that when the page is zoomed panning by dragging the mouse seems really sluggish. This can even be seen on Google maps. Pan the map left and right and note how smooth it is. Now press ctrl+ (3 or 4 times). Now pan the map left and right in the same way. Notice the difference? Does anyone know how I can minimize this problem?

  • jQuery Draggable and overflow issue

    I am having an undesired effect when I drag a div from a container div which is set as overflow: scroll. I have found an example of someone else where they have had the issue but I have been unable to find a resolution Example on Paste bin What happens is that the scroll is just increased, I can see why this would be the desired behaviour if you wanted to drag to a destination within the scrollable div but I want to be able to take it outside of its scrolling grasp.
