    I use windows 7. I set the ClassPath like this: D:\EclipseProjects\DLFWD_NEW\WebContent\WEB-INF\lib\jsf-api.jar;D:\EclipseProjects\DLFWD_NEW\WebContent\WEB-INF\lib\jsf-impl.jar;D:\EclipseProjects\DLFWD_NEW\WebContent\WEB-INF\lib\primefaces-2.2.RC1.jar And I alse do this: Window Preferences General Content Types Text JSP Add (xhtml) But, it doesn't works. When I use netbeans. I do nothing, but the autocomplete function works well.

    Is there a difference between a package and a folder in eclipse? for example, if I have this hierarchy requirement: java –classpath C:\ChatCompany\BackendChatServer\ -Djava.security.policy=c:\HW2\permissions.policy hw2.chat.backend.main.ChatBackendServer when the package's name is: "hw2.chat.backend.main" and "ChatCompany\BackendChatServer\" is the folder name, then how can I make this separation between a package and a folder in eclipse, so that I can write "package hw2.chat.backend.main" and not "package ChatCompany.BackendChatServer.hw2.chat.backend.main"? thanks

  • Copying eclipse projects through command line?

    Hi, Does anyone know if it is possible to copy an existing project into a new, created workspace on the fly? I can create the workspace already through command line. I am thinking I either need to copy the whole project into another workspace (possible through command line?) or create a new project and copy the .classpath and .project folders.     I'm using the Tapestry5 tapx template library to send an html email, as per this example. When I run the example I get the following error: Caused by: java.lang.RuntimeException: No service implements the interface org.springframework.context.ApplicationContext. at org.apache.tapestry5.ioc.internal.RegistryImpl.getService(RegistryImpl.java:560) at org.apache.tapestry5.ioc.internal.ObjectLocatorImpl.getService(ObjectLocatorImpl.java:44) All the tapestry-* jars, including tapestry-spring-5.1.05.jar are in my classpath. Any clues as to what I'm missing?

    I try to start an Google appengine application in my eclipse. I have the Google plugin and I set the sdk for my application. The same code was working in Scala 2.7.7 .

    I am new to maven and hit a problem that looks easy in the first place but I already kept me busy for a whole day about and no way to get it working. First as part of running eclipse:eclipse plugin I create a linked folder like below: <linkedResources> <linkedResource> <name>properties</name> <type>2</type> <location>${PARENT-2-PROJECT_LOC}/some_other_project/properties</location> </linkedResource> <linkedResource> <name>properties/messages.properties</name> <type>1</type> <location>${PARENT-2-PROJECT_LOC}/some_other_project/properties/messages.properties</location> </linkedResource> And then I am adding that folder as a source folder like below: <plugin> <groupId>org.codehaus.mojo</groupId> <artifactId>build-helper-maven-plugin</artifactId> <version>1.7</version> <executions> <execution> <id>add-source</id> <phase>generate-sources</phase> <goals> <goal>add-source</goal> </goals> <configuration> <sources> <source>properties</source> <source>some_real_folder</source> </sources> </configuration> </execution> </executions> </plugin> However when I am looking at the generated .classpath in eclipse the “some_real_folder” is there but the “properties” is not. It looks like by default the build-helper-maven-plugin will check if the folder is there and if it is not it won’t add it. I am using maven 3.0.4 outside eclipse to run the build and I can see in the maven logs something like this: [INFO] Source directory: <some path>\properties added. This is my project structure: project1 \-- properties (this is the real folder) project2 \-- some_real_folder \-- properties (this is the link resource pointing to the project1/properties folder) All I need is to have both "some_real_folder" and the linked resource "properties" added to the .classpath of the project2

When and how does the JVM decide which class files to uncompress and pull out of the jars on its classpath? Is the process dynamic and done at runtime as classes are needed, or are they all uncompressed up front before the program actually runs?
