    Hi ppl, Im starting a new project that consist in a game made in Flash, I use PHP for the server counterpart and a MySQL database. My question is, what do I need to host my game?.. I mean, how good (connection, HD space, procesor, ram, etc) should be my hosting to be able to take care of all the stuff I need...?     i need to resolve a hostname using a specific DNS server like you would in nslookup C:\>nslookup hotname 192.100.10.10 Server: UnKnown Address: 192.100.10.10 Name: hostname.host Address: 192.100.10.14 But ofcourse in return i dont just want the address i want all the values for Server, Address, Name and Address I have looked at the System.Net.Dns Class but that only gives me the Resolved IP Address and dosent let me select the DNS Server of my choosing If any one has done this before and you can help me with this. it would be great :D Thanks in Advanced

  • Apache/PHP: error_log per Virtual Host?

    On one Linux Server running Apache and PHP 5, we got multiple Virtual Hosts with separate logfiles and everything. The only thing we cannot seem to separate between virtual hosts is the php error_log. Overriding this setting in the <Location> of the httpd.conf does not seem to do anything. Did I overlook something? Is there a way to have separate php error_logs for each Virtual Host?

  • FTP files in Windows Scripting Host?

    Hi What is the recommended way to transfer files via FTP and manage (rename, move, delete) files in an FTP server programmatically in a Windows Scripting Host script file (JavaScript/VBScript)? Preferably without requiring 3rd party ActiveX add-ons since these "extra" software will need to go through an approval process that will take a very long time, even for free (as in beer) and/or open source components. The script is going to be run in a Windows 2003 Server in data center environment. Thanks.

    Is it possible to have a project hosted on Github and google code? I've been using Google Code for years, and recently started playing with GitHub. I like GitHub a lot, but there's also a long list of Google Code features I really miss. Is it possible/feasible to host a single project on both? Can I use github as the primary repository for my source, but have all revisions automatically sent over to a git repository on Google Code?

  • Host WCF IIS could not find assembly .dll

    Im trying to host a WCF service on IIS.I created a virtual directory,set application pool to v.4.0 framework,set the pysichal path to the application path. And when try to run the service i get follow error: "Could not load file or assembly 'ingdnp.dll' or one of its dependencies." Does anyone what is that DLL?I couldnt find anything on google. UPDATE: I need to register DLL in GAC (Global Assembly Cache). THK All

    I was curious if the recruitment team at high-demand companies such as Google takes a lack of hobby projects into consideration when evaluating candidates. I'm a straight 40 hour/week programmer, who is lucky to spend an hour or two a month outside of work on anything programming related. I love hanging out on SO/SE during my breaks at work, and love answering questions, but after work I leave the programming world and go back to my life. I already understand that you don't need hobby projects to be a good programmer, but does this lack of hobby projects affect my chances getting a job at a company that always has a long list of candidates trying to get in?

    I got a Windows service installed on my development machine (that I made) and I want to interact with it. For a reason I don't know, each time I start the client, a WCF Service Host pop and said that the address is already in use ... which is true ... but how can I do to NOT start that Windows ? Is it because my two projects (server and client) are in the same solution ?
