  Hi people. I'm having a bit of trouble figuring out how to do this one. Here's the scenario. My e-commerce site has a blog with a lot of content, promoting the products I sell, reviewing them etc. 99% of the posts on the blog link back to the products they are talking about. I'm going to be changing the URL where my ecommerce system is located. Therefore my blog is going to end up sending people to a lot of 404 pages. The idea I've had is to be able inclue a JS file which will on load, scan the document for existing links then, if found, swap them out with ones which are now correct. I hope this make sense.   From the docs: To summarize, though, if you execute a fetch directly, you should typically not add Objective-C-based predicates or sort descriptors to the fetch request. Instead you should apply these to the results of the fetch. If you use an array controller, you may need to subclass NSArrayController so you can have it not pass the sort descriptors to the persistent store and instead do the sorting after your data has been fetched. I don't get it. What's wrong with using them on fetch requests? Isn't it stupid to get back a whole big bunch of managed objects just to pick out a 1% of them in memory, leaving 99% garbage floating around? Isn't it much better to only fetch from the persistent store what you really need, in the order you need it? Probably I did get that wrong...

  Hi, I have a header file in which there is a large struct. I need to read this structure using some program and make some operations on each member of the structure and write them back. • Xaml not WPF

  I am interested in using Xaml with expression blend for creating user interfaces in an application. However, because of the limitations of the target architecture, I cannot use WPF or C#. So, what I am interested in is in any examples / existing projects or advice from anyone who has experiance of this technology on the use of Xaml in it's "Pure" form as a specification language not tied to WPF. Specific questions: 1) Is it possible to use Blend + Xaml without the WPF elements, or without C# backing classes? 2) Are there any other implementations of Xaml parsers etc. which use different architectures, and can they work with blend or similar tools. 3) Are there alternative editor / designer tools which can help in this situation? I am aware of the MyXaml and MycroXaml projects, and have found a lot of resources on the web about Xaml, but 99% of it relates directly to WPF. This is fine for understanding the concepts of Xaml, but doesn't help with the implimentation I need. Many thanks!

  first I need to say that I´m noob with WPF and C#. In this Thread(Mehtod) I´m using the Dispatcher to Refresh my Image in the ViewBox after the calculations are ready. When I´m dont put the calculation in a seperate Thread then I can refresh or build my Image.

So I write this: m = k(1:(99/18):end); This works great, except for a tiny problem: Warning: Integer operands are required for colon operator when used as index m = 1 7 12 18 23 29 34 40 45 51 56 62 67 73 78 84 89 95 100 Now, I understand why this comes up, but I'd like to get rid of that warning. I m having a ID column in that table. Now suppose after inserting this record the value of the ID corresponding to this record is 100. Now how this 100 value came to know? Does the previous value of ID ie 99 (Suppose) is stored somewhere in some variable/file in the ORM layer or before inserting this value a query was fired to know about the last inserted value or database is itself doing that or anything else???

• Problem with "scopes" of variables in try catch blocks in Java

  Could anyone explain me why in the last lines, br is not recognized as variable? I've even tried putting br in the try clause, setting it as final, etc. Does this have anything to do with Java not support closures? • how to setup rails Authenticity Token to work with multiple domains?

  I'm building an app that uses subdomains as account handles (myaccount.domain.com) and I have my sessions configured to work across the sub-domains like so: config.action_controller.session = {:domain => '.domain.com'} In addition to the subdomain a user can input a real domain name when they are creating their account. My Nginx config is setup to watch for *.com *.net etc, and this is working to serve out the pages. The problem comes when a site visitor submits a comment form on a custom domain that was input by the user. The code is throwing an "Invalid AuthenticityToken" exception. I'm 99% sure this is because the domain the user is on isn't specified as the domain in the config.action_controller.session. Thus the authenticity token isn't getting matched up because Rails can't find their session. So, the question is: Can you set config.action_controller.session to more than 1 domain, and if so can you add / remove from that value at runtime without restarting the app?

• How can I draw a log-normalized imshow plot with a colorbar representing the raw data in matplotlib

  I'm using matplotlib to plot log-normalized images but I would like the original raw image data to be represented in the colorbar rather than the [0-1] interval.   Hello Stackoverflow Users, Today I've tested the Kohana3, which has been changed a lot. I'm working so much with the Auth Module, and need this in my new Project also. Now I found a Bug, I think it is a bug, what can I do? Problem: After I'm deleting a user from the Database, who is at this Moment logged_in() in my Website, and he is refreshing the page, he will be logged_in() as the first user out of the PRAEFIX_users Table. Even if he is deleted. And 99% this is an Administrator. My function which is checking and redirecting if he is not logged_in(): if(!Auth::instance()->logged_in()) { $this->request->redirect( 'login' ); } How can i change my Check Login so, that if he is deleted, he will be redirected to login (/login/) ? Here the same Thread at Kohana Forums, but I hope and think, stackoverflow is a litte bit faster :)

The formula is used to generate this summary data table, from a list of revenue, where each revenue line has the field type (static, email or outreach) and the field fund (ABC, QRS and XYZ). type fund total count average static ABC $12,390.88 171 $72.46 email ABC $6,051.32 65 $93.10 outreach ABC $8,835.00 138 $64.02 static QRS $12,925.44 79 $163.61 email QRS $9,305.44 99 $93.99 outreach QRS $1,799.00 49 $36.71 static XYZ $4,912.20 36 $136.45 email XYZ $75.00 2 $37.50 outreach XYZ $0.00 0 #DIV/0! This is the formula `=SUMIFS('revenue'!G:G,'revenue'!AH:AH,Sheet2!A2,'revenue'!AI:AI,Sheet2!B2)` Where G is a dollar amount, and AH and AI are matching the type or fund column. How do i get this to work in Excel 2003?

• Rounding Decimals to whole numbers

  I was looking around and could not find exactly what I was looking for. I want to round all my numbers up to the whole number. Example: 5.9 would be 6 5.5 would be 6 5.1 would be 6 5.000001122 would be 6 5.0 would be 5 I was thinking if I put them into ints that would get rid of the decimal but it did not look right as the decimals were just dropping off. Am I correct here? So I thought about just doing that then adding 1 to the final result which would fix about 99% of the problem but if my result is 5 I do not want to add 1 to it. How would I go about fixing this issue I have?

Consider a VBA UDF: Public Function f(x) End Function When you call this from the worksheet, 'x' will be a number, string, boolean, error, array, or object of type 'Range'. Can it ever be, say, an instance of 'Chart', 'ListObject', or any other Excel-VBA object model class? (The question arose from me moving to Excel 2007 and playing with Tables, and wondering if I could write UDFs that accept them as parameters instead of Ranges. The answer to that seems to be no, but then I realized I didn't know for sure in general.)

Concerns: * My goal is to pull up to 100 items at a time and send them as a batch to the next step. * If I use a ConcurrentQueue, I have to manually cause it to go asleep when there is no work to be done. However any other fields will throw a javascript error. I'm wondering the best way to test to see if datepicker has already been initialized on that field.
