    I want to write a simple python script that send a EML file exported from Outlook though given smtp server as email to a given list of emails. I know how to send a simple email but sending a EML file as email is not something i could do and could not find it on Google. Can anyone help me with that. The EML file is actually in HTML format with embedded images. Any alternate suggestion is also welcome.

  • Can't get message body of certain emails from inbox using the Zend framework?

    Hi guys I'm trying to read through an email inbox for my application - I'm using the zend framework here. The problem is that I'm unable to retrieve the message body for certain emails. Even though if I check using a webvmail client those emails have a message body as well. WHat am I missing here?

    Extreme Android developer newbie here...well, new to Android development, not development in general. I want to write an application that gets notified when emails come into the device, and takes various actions based on data in the email (subject, sender, to, etc). I think what I have to do is create a BroadcastReceiver with an IntentFilter. The problem I'm having is figuring out what Intent(s) I need to "listen" for. Can anyone point me in the right direction?   • Sending test emails in development without spam or rejection issues.

    I run my development environment in a VM and need to test the delivery and appearance of emails from my applications. The problem is when my SMTP server starts delivering a lot of mail to my corporate email account, the server is soon rejected as a source of spam. Of course, the major Internet email providers will also never accept email from such a server. I've delivered to a specified pickup directory and open in outlook express, but the problem is images always display as broken images.

  • Why confirmation emails end up in the spam folder all of a sudden?

    I run a forum similar to this one where people can sign up and post. I don't use Open ID (oops?) as we have our own sign up and email confirmation system. Everything was going fine up until a week ago when all of a sudden all emails starting either going to spam boxes or not being sent at all. Anyone know why this would happen seeminlgy out of the blue?

  • My VARCHAR(MAX) field is capping itself at 4000; what gives?

    Hello all... I have a table in one of my databases which is a queue of emails. Emails to certain addresses get accumulated into one email, which is done by a sproc. In the sproc, I have a table variable which I use to build the accumulated bodies of the emails, and then loop through to send each email. In my table var I have my body column defined as VARCHAR(MAX), seeing as there could be any number of emails currently accumulated for a given email address. It seems though that even though my column is defined as VARCHAR(MAX) it is behaving as if it were VARCHAR(4000) and is truncating the data going into it, although it does NOT throw any exceptions, it just silently stops concatenating any more data after 4000 characters. The MERGE statement is where it is building the accumulated email body into @EMAILS.BODY, which is the field that is truncating itself at 4000 characters. Below is the code of my sproc... I'm looking for a class that provides functionality similar to System.Net.Sockets.Socket. Specifically, something resembling Poll/Select, so I can handle multiple sockets in a single thread without blocking. The mentalis security library supplies a SecureSocket class, but is explicitly unsupported for versions greater than .NET 1.1.

How do I secure the service so that it is not accessible to other users on the same machine? I have already taken the precaution of using a GUID in the Endpoint Address, so there's a little security through obscurity, but I'm looking for a way of locking the service down using ACL or something similar.

    I'm posting this on behalf of a co-worker. He gets a "The request was aborted: Could not create SSL/TLS secure channel" error while using a WebRequest object to make an HTTPS request. Th funny thing is that this only happens after a while, and is temporarily fixed when the application is restarted, which suggests that something is being filled to capacity or something. Has anyone seen this kind of thing before?

    I have a page under SSL with an iframe that refreshes itself every 20 seconds through an HTTP refresh prgama. If I browse the site with IE7 and phishing filter enabled I receive secure-nonsecure content warnings in irregular intervals which cease if phishing filter is disabled. Does anybody have an idea what I can do in order to get rid of the warnings even if phishing filter is enabled?

  • Whats a valid strategy for a secure image upload from a flash client?

    Hi all - I'm creating a flash application that will post images to a url for saving to disk/display later. I was wondering what are some suggested strategies for making this secure enough so that the upload is verified as coming from the application and not just some random form post. Is it reliable enough to check referring location realizing that I don't need bulletproof security, or perhaps setting authentication headers is a better strategy even though it seems unreliable from what I have read.     I want to have a login form on a charity website I am building (it's for a friend, and I'm learning on the go), and I want to know what languages/software should I learn to build databases for user logins and info? Note: it HAS to be secure and relatively simple to learn for someone with moderate programming experience. Update: I understand that CMSs offer good tools for logins etc. but I want to do this all by myself.
