• Open working copy file from eclipse history view

  The history view of eclipse shows you a list of files changed in a certain revision. When you open the context menu on one of these you have the option 'Open' which opens a view of that file in that revision. How can I open the editor for the selected file, i.e. the file in the version of the working copy, right from the history view? Background is that I want to use the history view to find files that have been changed recently to do code reviewing. People commit via subversion and I use subclipse to connect eclipse to the subversion server. Today, I must use the 'Open resource'/'Open type' function and type the name of the file that I can read from the history view.

  I am trying to solve my question regarding using push_back in more than one level. From the comments/answers it is clear that I have to: Create a copy operator which takes a const argument Modify all my operators to const But because this header file is given to me there is an operator what I cannot make into const. It is a simple: float & operator [] (int i) { return _item[i]; } In the given program, this operator is used to get and set data. My problem is that because I need to have this operator in the header file, I cannot turn all the other operators to const, what means I cannot insert a copy operator. How can I make all my operators into const, while preserving the functionality of the already written program?   How could I accomplish copying one jagged array to another? • Needing to copy properties before validation

  I have a farily complex model needing to be validated, the problem is that this model is used on two different places, one where you register your customer and one where you simply add addresses. Some fields on the address are simply not visible on the register customer form. So when i check if ModelState.IsValid i get false of course since eg. the name is not entered on the billing address, but it is on the customer. That is why i want to before validation occurs, copy a couple of fields to the model, and then validate. I am somewhat lost though and i need help. My action looks something like this: public ActionResult Register(WebCustomer customer) { customer.CopyProperties(); if(TryUpdateModel(customer)) { ... } ... But it always returns false, and ModelState.IsValid continues to be false.

• Disabling single line copy in Visual Studio

  Is there anyway to disable the rather annoying feature that Visual Studio (2008 in my case) has of copying the line (with text on it) the cursor is on when CTRL-C is pressed and no selection is made? I know of the option to disable copying blank lines. But this is driving me crazy as well. ETA: I'm not looking to customize the keyboard shortcut. ETA-II: I am NOT looking for "Tools-Options-Text Editor-All Languages-Apply cut or copy to blank lines...".

  Hello, By a question that I made, I figured out that tho copy elements from one list to an array I just need to use the method toArray() for this. But let's suppose I have a List with n objects. I want to copy then into a array sized n+1 and add into the first position another object and in the other n positions the n data of the list. • Work with a local copy of the "master" SVN repo

  Hi, at work, we have a SVN repo, which we access to thorugh http, like: svn co http://user@machine/PATH even at work and for some misterious reasons, teh connections between local machines and the repo machine are very slow, but the connection between home and work is almost impossible. I wonder if I could do somethin like: 1- get a copy of the "master" SVN repo to my local machine 2- each time i make modifications etc, use svn co http://user@MYLOCALmachine/PATH instead of svn co http://user@machine/PATH 3- when I am back at work, "merge" somehow all the modifications in my local repo to the master one. Sorry, I am ewally new to SVN, any hint would be appreciated. Thanks

  I'm looking for a way to copy all non-system users from one PC to another. I can get the group and passwd files copied over using this awk -F":" ' $3 > 499 ' etc/passwd >> /etc/passwd awk -F":" ' $3 > 499 ' etc/group >> /etc/group But, how would I go about getting the shadow file copied over since it does not store the UID? Assume that there are over 1000 users, so doing a grep with the usernames, such as egrep '(bob|bill|sarah|sal):' etc/shadow >> /etc/shadow generating the usernames from the awk code above, would be a bit inefficient, but a possible option.

• Automatically copy new Jar file to Tomcat project WEB-INF/lib folder

  I am developing a Tomcat app (actually it's a Red5 app, but this is effectively the same). This contains the usual /WebContent/WEB-INF/lib folder, which is where I locate the various jars it uses. Recently, I pulled a package out of my app project, and converted into a separate Jar project which was then released as open source (this resides in the same workspace). What I want, is that when I build my Tomcat app, that Eclipse automatically pulls the latest version of the Jar I have built into its /WebContent/WEB-INF/lib folder. This is the behaviour you get with .NET when you reference one project from another, and I guess this is why I was expecting to find some way of doing it. At the moment, I have to manually copy/paste the Jar across each time I build it. Of course, ideally when I build my Tomcat app it would automatically detect if the Jar project was up-to-date too, and build it if not. Any suggestions most gratefully received.

  I utilize a (nested) plist to populate UITableViews where users can select entries at the deepest levels and set a checkmark (or not). I want to save these selections in a same structured list where at the deepest level the NSArray contains bool values instead the text strings that are displayed in the UITableView. So how can i build from a hierarchy like the following: Root - Item 0 (Dictionary) - Group (Dictionary) - Items (NSArray) - Item 0: @"Please check me" (String) a hierarchy like this?   I am trying to determine when the user has moved focus out of the browser to: select copy/paste (but not to the google search box). Ffox handles this nicely. selecting another window/tab/external widget (e.g., the google search box). focusOut and blur listeners on window and document cannot seem to disambiguate between these two types of focus changes. Can IE do this? I want this distinction so that I can better support usability in my web app without losing focus.

I don't know how to do this for conversion ( I am not talking const char * but just char *) I am not sure how to manipulate the value of the pointer I send in. so steps i need to do take in a char * convert it into a string. take the result of that string and put it back in the form of a char * return the result such that the value should be available outside the function and not get destroyed. If possible can i see how it could be done via reference vs a pointer (whose address I pass in by value however I can still modify the value that pointer is pointing to. so even though the copy of the pointer address in the function gets destroyed i still see the changed value outside. thanks!

  We're uploading files to a temporary folder in a bucket. After that, we're trying to copy the uploaded files to its actual folder then delete the files in the temporary folder. It doesn't timeout when working with a single file. We're using the ThreeSharp API.   I have a custom font family embedded in my WPF application which I can reference by specifying a base URI and font family name. new FontFamily(new Uri("pack://application:,,,/Fonts/"), "./#My Custom Font Family"); However, when I copy a selection which uses this font the xaml on the clipboard resembles the following <Run Text="Foo" FontFamily="./#My Custom Font Family" /> When I paste into the same RichTextBox I lose the font as it falls back to the system default because - When a FontFamily is specified as an attribute in markup, the base URI value is always implied—its value is the URI of the XAML page. http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/system.windows.media.fontfamily.aspx and my xaml page is not located in the same directory as the custom font family. Any ideas for a workaround?

  I have a table that stores a bunch of diagnosis for a single plan. When the users create a new plan I need to copy over all existing diagnosis's as well.   Hi.. I have a UITableViewController. I want to pop the copy/paste menu up when the user touches a cell. How to implement this functionality. Can someone help me. • HTA value update freezes when file copy starts

• Have visual studio copy x64 DLL or x86 DLL when building a C# project

  We're building a C# app that uses an external DLL for Sqlite.NET. This is a .NET dll but it embeds a C dll inside it and so it comes in x86 and x64 flavours. We add a reference to the x86 version in the project so when we build and run on x86 it's fine. Visual studio copies the dll to the bin folder and runs. On x64 it still copies the x86 version of course and then when it runs it fails to load it. We get round this by temporarily setting our project to be x86 only, but ideally we'd like to tell visual studio to copy the correct version depending on which flavour of machine it is. Any ideas how?

  Hi everyone, I have a one-to-many relationship between Part and Params (a "Part" has many "Params). I'm trying to do something naive like this: Part sourcePart = em.find(Part.class, partIdSource); Part destPart = em.find(Part.class, partIdDest); Collection<Param> paramListSource = sourcePart.getParamList(); destPart.setParamList(paramListSource); Basically I want to copy all the parameters from sourcePart to destPart. Hopefully the persistence provider will automatically set the right foreign keys in the Param table/entity. The above code will obviously not work. Is there any easy way of doing this, or do I have to do create a new collection, then add each Param (creating new Param, setting attributes, etc) ?

• .NET make a copy of an embedded file resource to the local drive

  Hi, i'm new to the realm to working with Files in .NET I'm creating a WPF application in VB.NET with the 3.5 Framework. (If you provide an example in C#, that's perfectly fine.) In my project I have a Template for an MS Access database. My desired behavior is that when the users clicks File--New, they can create a new copy of this template, give it a filename, and save it to their local directory. The database already has the tables and some starting data needed to interface with my application (a user-friendly data editor) I'm thinking the approach is to include this "template.accdb" file as a resource in the project, and write it to a file somehow at runtime? Any guidance will be very, very appreciated. Thanks!
