  Hello, I would like to create a table in a SQLite database using the Server Explorer in VS2008. I am able to do other operations on the database but when it comes to creating a table using the query builder I get Not Supported messages. is there another way other than writing code just for the sole purpose of creating the table?   So I have this code: p.Value = 1; decimal avg = p.Value * 100 / 10000; string prntout = p.Key + " : " + avg.ToString(); Console.WriteLine(prntout); But the program prints out 0, instead of 0.01. p.Value is an int. How do I fix that?

• VS2010 almost always zooms text on scroll

  You know the neat text zoom feature in VS2010 where you hold down Ctrl and then use your scroll wheel? Well, this seems to happen by default (and without ever pressing Ctrl) to nearly every file I open. Usually I open a file and have to scroll to some lower point, but instead it starts zooming the text! I have found that by tapping the Ctrl key VS then realizes that it should scroll instead of zoom, but it's still very annoying. Any ideas?

I need to pass a long query string like this: http://test.com/test.php?key=[some_very_loooooooooooooooooooooooong_query_string] The query string contains NO sensitive information so I'm not really concerned about security in this case. It's just...well, too long and ugly. Is there a library function that can let me encode/encrypt/compress the query string into something similar to the result of a md5() (similar as in, always a 32 character string), but decode/decrypt/decompress-able?

  how to increase the limit of exceptions in oracle ? i have a excel sheet in which their are about 900 records to be appended .so i converted the excel to dat file and wrote a batch file that read from the dat file and appends it to the concern table but the batch file stop execution once the exceptions reach 51(all integrity constrain parent key not found) so the remaining valid files are not updated .its very difficult to find which record has integrity constrain is there a way to increase this exception limit ?

  In SQL Profiler you can see that very simple updates to a table by primary key take about 10-30ms each. On about every 10th update the write column shows 1, on all other updates it shows 0. This must mean that about every 10th update statement still requires disk IO. I wonder why that is. Would it not be more efficient queue up all IO until the transaction commits?

  I was thinking of formatting it like this TYYYYMMDDNNNNNNNNNNX (1 character + 19 digits) Where T is type YYYY is year MM is month DD is day N is sequencial number X is check digit The problem is, how do I generate the sequencial number? since my primary key is not an auto increment integer value, if it was i would use that, but its not. EDIT can I have the sequencial number resets itself after 1 day (24hours). Then, I'm calling json_encode on that array and outputting the result. This page is loaded with AJAX, and defined in a Javascript variable. When I iterate through that Javascript variable, will I still have the order that was returned from the mysql_query?

  I have the following model: class Service(models.Model): ratings = models.ManyToManyField(User) Now if I wanna get all the service with ratings sorted in descending order I did something: services_list = Service.objects.filter(ratings__gt=0).distinct() services_list = list(services_list) services_list.sort(key=lambda service: service.ratings.all().count(), reverse=True) As you can see its a three step process and I don't feel right about this. Anybody who knows a better way to do this?
