    I have the following CSS which positions a div at the bottom of the page but how can i stop content flowing underneath it. #footer { position:fixed; bottom:0; background:url(../images/bg-footer.jpg) top; z-index:200; height:34px; width:100%; line-height:34px; padding:0; font-size:11px; color:#fff; } I cant add padding to the body or anything because i have a fullscreen background image in place as per this tutorial: http://css-tricks.com/how-to-resizeable-background-image/ Any help would be appreciated.

  • MySQL returns fewer rows with GROUP BY statement

    I've got a MySQL database that stores image information. Right now it only has three rows stored in the database, and each row is associated with something like, for instance, a unique blog post via a key column. As of right now, one "blog post key" has one image, and one has two images in the database. When I run this query, MySQL returns all three rows. SELECT `id`, `key`, `url` FROM (`images`) WHERE `key` = 'TpaS4G5h' OR `key` = '78855e44' However, when i add the GROUP BY statement I only get two rows... one for each key. SELECT `id`, `key`, `url` FROM (`images`) WHERE `key` = 'TpaS4G5h' OR `key` = '78855e44' GROUP BY `key` I'm sure there is a simple solution, but I don't know what it is... so any help would be really appreciated.     Hello everyone... I am working on an automatic image stitching algorithm using MATLAB. So far, I have downloaded a source code much like the one that I had in mind and so, I'm currently studying how the code work. The problem is, when stitching two or more images together, their color intensity will most probably be different from each other so the stitched seams will be visible to the eye... So, right now, I'm trying to find out how to redistribute their color intensity using the images gradients so that the whole stitched image will have the same color intensity. I hope someone can help me out there and if so, thank you very much...

  • JQuery div tag has children in FireFox but not Chrome

    I am using JQuery ajax to load images from a url, display them, and then place a button on top of each image. The code works in firefox, but in chrome, the div parent "photos" that should have all the children(one child div "photo" for each image received from the url) is 0. I have tried read() and load(), but nothing seems to work. If I run alert($('#photos').children().size()); in the Chrome console it returns the children. But at execution it returns 0.   • .net c# datagridview populating with non database data/setup

    Hi, I have never used the datagridview in any other scenario other than one where it is populating by a database so suddenly my mind goes blank... I have 10 tubes, each with 8 vertical positions within it, so I have a 10 by 8 grid basically. Each has of those slots has (or not) an image in a folder. How do I get a datagridview to reflect this information, draw a grid, check the folder and if the image exists paint it white, and if not paint it red? Sorry it if sounds a little odd, thanks, R.

  • Java: Is it possible to take a GUI Panel and output it into a picture?

    So I have this chart that's a little special. Kind of like an XY plot of points but my boss wanted to look like a bunch of boxes rather than dots connected by lines. And I basically made a chart using gridlayout and a whole bunch of cells that I'll be colouring in black or white depending on the data. Now he sorta wants it to be outputted to a image file. Is there any way to save a Panel into a picture? He wants to display not only the data but also save a visual representation of the data into an image file.

  • wordpress: previous_post_link() / next_post_link() placeholder

    I am having trouble with the previous_post_link() and next_post_link() functionality. When there is no previous post, the function previous_post_link() does not display a link, likewise for the next_post_link() and the last post. I would like to have a placeholder image so that the design stays consistent. Currently I have images of green arrows pointing left and right, I would like to place an image of a grey arrow if there are no more posts to go back to. Is there a way to use the next_post_link()/previous_post_link() functions but not have the link removed. I also wonder if there is a way for the links to cycle, so that if you come to the most recent post, the next post link would bring you back to the first post.

    Already checked exisitng questions for this, but didn't find an exact match. My aim is to replace characters (like spaces) on a webpage with a small image using css. Example: <p><span>This is a text</span></p> becomes: <p><span>ThisIMGisIMGaIMGtext</span></p> (where IMG stands for a visible image (middot-pic for a space f.e.)) I cannot think of a suitable css selector. But myabe one of you guys (or girls) know a solution. Is this possible at all?

    Hi, I want to grab the image src on a product page in a e commerce website. I'm writing this as a bookmarklet, so I'd like the code to work universally as possible. I've noticed that there are only two reoccurring factors in the product image tag among top e-commerce websites (amazon, bestbuy ect.): border=0 and 180<width&height<400. So how could I write a selector that would give me the srcof the first img element on the page with no border and width & height between 180 and 400 px? Or is there a better way of doing this? P.S. since I'm trying to keep the bookmarklet as light as possible, I don't want to use any libraries (jquery, yui etc)

  • HTML/Javascript - Inconsistent positioning

    I'm in the process of designing this site http://www.parisgaa.org/parisgaels and have a problem. The image slider on the homepage messes up sometimes. Most of the time it works and looks fine, but other times its positioning seems to get messed up and it appears underneath the content that should be below it (i.e. with that content overlapping the image). You should be able to replicate this in Chrome - just refresh a couple of times. I'd appreciate any help at all.

    I've been looking for that 2 days long and haven't found anything related to it. I'll give an example for my goal. Let's say I have 2 images positioned side by side horizontally. I want the user to be able to switch their positions onlongtouch listener. so let's say that the first image was on the left and the second was on the right side, after switching positions between them, the first image would be in the right and the second would be on the left side. Basically, it is just like in the launcher where you can switch apps positions. Please, if anything is not clear for you, I would like to know, and I'll try to explain it better, thank you.

  • Creating a file/folder structure and zipping it up?

    I have a directory of image files and I need a php script or shell script that will rename them, create a structure of nested directories, and then insert each image into a specified place in the directory hierarchy. Ideally I would just specify a parent directory for each file and a parent directory for each directory and it would build it. And then finally, I need the script to zip up the whole thing. There's probably not an existing php class that will do all this for me, but if anyone knows of a php class or other script available online that would handle a lot of this logic that would be great.

  • JButtons don't imediatly change on mouse event

    I'm using the java swing library to develop a board game called DAO. The problem is that after the human player makes its move, by clicking on the JButton with the piece image that he wants to play, I call the computer AI routine but inside the mouse event function. By doing this only when the function returns, the computer ends its turn, do the JButtons refresh their Images (setIcon comes in). I'd like to know how can I force the JButtons to change their image at the moment they are clicked and not only when the mouse event function ends (as I need to handle data inside it). I've tried all of this myButtons[i][j].setIcon(xIcon); myButtons[i][j].revalidate(); myButtons[i][j].repaint(); myButtons[i][j].validate(); None worked. Thx in advance

    Hi all, I've been given a lighttpd.conf that someone else wrote and need help working out how to serve it. I'm 90% of the way there but stuck... The index.html page appears, but links and CSS files don't point to the right place. To clarify, the links and CSS files are all pointing to a 'file:///' URL.
