• issue while synchronising PHP (reading file) and Ajax (jquery ui slider)

  Hello, I got an issue while trying to display a jquery UI slider with its range based on a values read with PHP from a text file. Its seems that it's a syncrhonising issue as I get the error: "An attempt was made to use an object that is not, or is no longer, usable" code: 11" Is there a way I can force the jquery UI slider to wait for the value to be present or to work in synchrone mode ?   Hi All, We are using ADO.NET dataservices & are building URL based filters. Example: /Customers?filter=City eq 'London' We now need to filter on a Full Text 'tags' Field. WAS HOPING FOR: /Customers?filter=Tag like 'Friendly' PROBLEM: ADO.NET does not have a LIKE operator. ADO.NET does not seem to like FTS (It is not finding a match - because it is not parsing through the CSV's) Any ideas how to make this work? THX

• NTP daemon or ntpdate doesn't synchronize

  I'm having some problems with synchronization with an NTP server. 1) The NTP daemon doesn't sync the system clock at all, even though it's running (confirmed with /etc/init.d/ntp status).   I installed and set up routing-filter as described on the gem documentation page. https://github.com/svenfuchs/routing-filter It works for the default locale. For example, if I set up my default locale as :en,the site is in English, and if I set my default locale as :zh, the site is in Chinese. www.site.com/zh/home (the default locale path /en is automatically added to the URL) But how can I make my site support BOTH languages? when the default locale is :zh, I tried to change the URL by substituting the "zh" with "en" but the page is still in Chinese, not English. Is this something not supported by the routing-filter gem? If not, is there some other gem I can use? Or have I not set up the routing-filter gem properly? Thanks!

The equivalent SQL would be: SELECT * FROM TableName WHERE FieldName IN (1, 2, 3) Is it possible to do the same on an AdsTable within having to repeat the field using an "OR"? I want to something like: Filter := 'FieldName IN (1, 2, 3)' Instead of: Filter := 'FieldName = 1 OR FieldName = 2 OR FieldName = 3'

  This is what I want to do : A servlet is called.Before a servlet is called , the request is intercepted by a filter. Filter gets some details out from the request,sets them as an attribute and the forwards it to a servlet via chain.doFilter(request,response). Request finally reaches the servlet. Servlet gets the attribute set by the filter before and sets a new attribute by another name. Then it forwards it to some jsp page where the page gets the attribute and processes it. How do I do this ? I know how to write a filter and a servlet but how do I forward it to a jsp page from the servlet or is there any other way to achieve this ?

When I try and play an audio file, it appears to load fine, and the media position bar displays the progress, and it says it is playing, but I can't here any thing through my speakers. I can hear game audio, web audio, and audio from SMPlayer just fine, but with VLC, I can't here anything. It would eventually start working after I messed around with the audio settings, but it happened every restart. I eventually switched to SMPlayer, but now I need some of the features that VLC offers, but I still can't use VLC. At this point, the audio can not be heard at all, and the method I used before, messing around with the audio settings, isn't getting me anywhere.   Hi experts, I'm having problem with jqGrid delete mechanism as it only send "oper" and "id" parameters in form of POST data (id is the primary key of the table). The problem is, I need to delete a row based on the id and another column value, let's say user_id. How to add this user_id to the POST data??? I can summarize the issue as the following: How to get the cell value (user_id) of the selected row? AND, how to add that user_id to the POST data so it can be retrieved from the code behind where the actual delete process takes place. • JQgrid - Get Row Number instead of ID

  Hello, all, I am creating a JQGrid from a database table that does not contain a single field primary key. Therefore, the field i am supplying as id is not unique and the same one exists in several rows. Because of this, when passing a reference to the data with ondblClickRow to a function external to the grid i need to use the rownumber and not the id. To test, I'm using ondblClickRow: function(id){alert($("#grid1").getInd('rowid'));}, , and i should be getting and alert with the row number, except that it isn't working. • How can you replace the src of an image that points to mjpeg?

  I have an application that displays images from network cameras. The application will show multiple images on a single page. Each image container has a button on it that causes jQuery to scale that image up to fill a 64x480 div vs much smaller when multiple images are present. I change the src in the image with jquery as you'd expect: $("#imageId").attr("src", "http://cameraUrl.com:6000?width=640&height=480&d="+date.getTime()); the date.getTime() is intended to override the caching in a browser. It works for retrieving still images. Sometimes the video changes to the larger resolution. Other times it just sticks with the original image scaled up to fit the larger div as if it is not loading the new URL. This is evident by the fact it's grainy and the text overlay from the camera is scaled up. Occasionally the image finally loads in the higher resolution version and it works evidenced by the image clarity and the text overlay scaling to what it should be. Is there a correct way to force the setting of an image src where the src points to a motion jpeg stream to reload?

• Blockchain API, AJAX request has stopped working, CORS issues?

  I've been playing with the multiple address look up API from blockchain info (documented here https://blockchain.info/api/blockchain_api), I had my code working earlier in the day but bizzarely it's stopped. The purpose of it is to eventually write a little JQuery library which will search the DOM for bitcoin addresses as data attributes and then insert the final balance into that element creating a polling mechanism to keep the page updated as well. The original problem I ran into earlier while developing it was because it's a CORS ajax request but later I adjusted the query per the blockchain info API documents and I added cors=true it then seemed to work fine but now it doesn't seem to want to work at all again. I don't get how changing computers would effect this kind of request. • Why is document.body == null in Firefox but not Safari

  I have a problem with a page where I am trying to get colorbox (a kind of lightbox for jQuery) working. It doesn't work apparently due to the document.body being null in FireFox (3.5.3). This is not the case in Safari (4.0.3) where the colorbox works. Something that jumps out at me is that (I'm using Drupal 6) drupal has appended a script tag to set some JavaScript variables at the very bottom of the page, below the closing body and html tags. Otherwise I don't see a problem. Unfortunately I'm having a lot of trouble getting it not to do that. Could it be this that's causing FF to have issues with the body? Using colorbox's example files in Firefox does work (and the document.body is defined there). Is there any way I could use jQuery to refill the document.body property with something from $() perhaps, or should I keep banging at drupal to not put a script tag outside the html tags (easier said than done)? • jQueryUI selectable: can't apply theme to selected item ("ui-selected" class)

  I am developing an application using jQueryUI. I am also using the Themeroller. I want to have as many of my styles as possible defined using the theme, so that if I need to change some styles, I simply have to create a new custom theme (or download an existing theme). I am trying to use the "selectable" interaction in jQueryUI. It is working as it should - in Firebug I can see the "ui-selected" class being applied to the element that I select. However, there is no visual cue that the item has been selected. I looked in the theme CSS file (jquery-ui-1.8rc3.custom.css, which I downloaded from the Themeroller page), and I see no declaration for the "ui-selected" class. When I downloaded jQueryUI and the theme, I checked every option, including the one for "selectable". How can I make my theme define the "ui-selected" class? Obviously, I could just create my own style declaration, but that solution is not ideal if I ever want to change the theme. I am using jQuery 1.4.2 and jQueryUI 1.8rc3.
