  • Should I name the files in my solution all lowercase for SEO?

    I read that an SEO best practice is to use lowercase urls. Should I name my asp.net webforms project files lowercase as well? Visual Studio doesn't name default documents in new projects all lowercase. I'm not sure it matters since browsing to http://www.mysite.com/mypage.aspx will still work even if your page is named MyPage.aspx. Can somebody enlighten me on this?

I am trying to create a dropdown using the script here http://www.jankoatwarpspeed.com/post/2009/07/28/reinventing-drop-down-with-css-jquery.aspx however the script works only for one instance of list and my code works good for multiple instances. Just curious if there is another better way to get parent of a parent in jQuery

Now I found example in the book about declaring Enums inside a class but outside any methods so I gave it a shot : Enum CoffeeSize { BIG, HUGE, OVERWHELMING }; In the book its spelled enum and I get this compile message Syntax error, insert ";" to complete BlockStatements Are the Enums that important at all?I mean should I skip it or its possible that I will be using those some day?

    I'm using asp.net and want to filter a search result everytime the user enter letters in a textbox.     Looking for a way to rename files that are uploaded by users through a filefield. For example, rename user profile photos using uniqid. I found a good solution for D6 here: http://www.wesjones.net/home/2011/03/drupal-6-how-to-change-filename-on-upload but can't find anything for D7. Another option is to use File (Field) Paths, but (1) the module causes warnings on my setup and (2) seems to be a bit of an overkill to install a general module for a very specific purpose.
