• Python unicode Decode Error SUDs

Do I really want to go and change the Suds files...we all know this is the least desired last possible solution...what can I do?

• Google maps api v3 refreshing away markers

  Hi, I am having problems with the google maps API V3. It seems that every time I load my page the maps load (including the markers) and then it does a quick reload and removes all the markers. Am I missing somehting? What am I doing wrong? • Jqgrid: navigation based on the selected row

  Hello, I was trying to enable navigation based on a selected row. I'm trying to read it and set to the button. Whn debug through firebug, the rowid was 223 (there were only 12 rows in the grid), and the cell value is empty. Currently the button is kept outside the grid, but it may better to be it part of the vavGrid thanks.

Basically what I am trying to do is to incrementally integrate my work to this web app, say, every nightly, for the client to check the progress. Also, he would like to see, at the very beginning, a mockup about the page layout. I am trying to use the 960 grid system to achieve this. So far, so good. Except one issue that when the "mockup.css" is loaded dynamically by jQuery, it "extends" the window to the bottom, something I do not wanna have...   I have the below code that does not seem to work at all :( I keep getting: Microsoft JScript runtime error: Object expected The error seems to occur when the timeout is done. So if I raise the timeout with 10 seconds the error holds for another 10 seconds. I want to be able to update the number of friends online async. The number is shown with the following html: <a href="" id="showChat" >Friends online <strong id="friendsOnline">(?)</strong></a> The friends part is set at the first run, but when the timeout calls back it does not fire again. Also, I cannot see on which line the error occurs because if I want to break on the error it just shows "no source code" etc. The code below is the code I'm using.   Hi I'm having problems using the sortable function of jQ:uery UI. The scroll doesn't seem to work.. If the second list ( lists are created on the table rows in a tbody and each tbody is connect ) isn't visible I want it to be possible to scroll towards it for dropping my table row. • iPhone: Software Development And Distribution

  I have a few quick questions about the iPhone software development. I did some research about the topic, but there are a few specific things I would like to ask here, because I will have to estimate the cost of the required hardware and software, before I am allowed to buy anything. I never did any Mac development nor have I ever owned an iPhone, so needless to say this is quite hard for me. I will buy an iMac mini with 2 GB RAM for iPhone development. I will have to use it at the same time as my regular PC, but the majority of the time I won't use the Mac at all. Do I have to buy an additional monitor, a mouse and a keyboard or is there a better solution? I will have to port a C library to the iPhone platform and develop an iPhone application that uses the ported library. Do I need anything else than the iPhone SDK to do this? If I use an external library (see above), can I test the application with the integrated emulator, or is it recommend to buy the device? In a later phase of the project I will have to buy an iPhone, but I will have to wait until the iPhone 4 is released here in Europe, because the application requires a camera. In addition to this I will have to send data to a remote webservice. Aside from these two things I don't require any other features. Can I just buy the iPhone online from another country (the iPhones here are sim locked), or should I buy one with a contract? When the application is ready, it will be installed on a few iPhones owned by our customer. Because of security reasons it is crucial that there is no third party involved in this process (i.e. the application should not be distributed on the app store). Is this possible?

  So, I'm working with CKEditor and jQuery, trying to build a pop-out editor. Below is what I have coded so far, and I can't seem to get it working the way I want it to. Basically, click the 'Edit' link, dialog box pops up, with the content to edit loaded into the CKEditor. Also, not required, but helpful if you can suggest how to do it. During these differences, the shocking/warping/flickering movement was already going on. There is also 1 peak of 232ms, at this time there was a relatively big warp. This is however not the biggest problme, the biggest problem are the continuous small warps during normal movement. Does this give anyone a clue? Update 3: After testing, I know that the following factors are not causing my problem: Bitmap's quality - changed with photoshop to an uglier 8 colours optimized graphic, no improvement at all. Constant rotation of image while turning - disabled it, no improvement at all Browser rendering - tried to use the flash player standalone, no improvement at all I am 100% convinced that the problem lies in either my code or in my algorithm. The same method is being used for rotation. Everything works almost perfect. I've set the project's target FPS to 100 and created a FPS counter. According to the FPS counter, the average FPS in firefox is around 100, while the top is 1000 and the bottom is 22. I think that the bottom and top FPSs are only happening during the initialization of the client (startup). The problem is that the ship appears to be almost perfectly smooth, while it should be just that without the "almost" part. It's almost as if the ship is "flickering" very very fast, you can't actually see it but it's hard to focus on the object while it's moving with your eyes. Also, every now and then, there seems to be a bit of a framerate spike, as if the client is skipping a couple of frames, you then see it quickly warp. It is very difficult to explain what the real problem is, but in general it's that the movement is not perfectly smooth. So, do you have any suggestions on how to make the movement or transition of objects perfectly smooth? Update 1: I re-created the client to demonstrate my problem. Please check it out. • Jquery Fancybox not working after postback

  I have a Fancybox (or more accurately) a number of fancy boxes on an asp.net page. My Fancybox (jquery plugin) works fine until a postback occurs on the page then it refuses to work. Any thoughts? Anyone experienced similar behaviour? UPDATE : Some Code.. I have a databound repeater with a fancybox on each repeating item.   So, I've followed other related threads, but for some reason I'm still having this error and I'm about ready to tear my hair out. • HTML 5 Video OnEnded Event not Firing

  I'm trying to react to the HTML 5 onended event for the video tag without success. In the code snippet below I added the mouseleave event to be sure the jQuery code is correct and that event does activate the alert() box. The video plays just fine but onended does not cause my alert() to fire off. • Android: trouble updating to Android SDK Tools, revision 7.

  Currently I have Android SDK 2.1 (+ tools revision 4). I'd like to upgrade to Android SDK 2.2. When I try to do it I'm informed I need to upgrade Android SDK Tools to revision 7 first. So I agree, the process starts and then I get an error: -= warning! =- A folder failed to be renamed or moved. On Windows this typically means that a program Is using that Folder (for example Windows Explorer or your anti-virus software.) Please momentarily deactivate your anti-virus software. Please also close any running programs that may be accessing the directory 'D:\Install\Programming\android-sdk-working-dir\android-sdk_r04-windows\android-sdk-windows\too!s'. When ready, press YES to try again. Downloading Android SDK Tools, revision 7 Installing Android SDK Tools, revision 7 Failed to rename directory D:\Install\Programming\android-sdk-working-dir\android-sdk_r04-windows\android-sdk-windows\tools to D:\Install\Programming\android-sdk-working-dir\android-sdk_r04-windows\android-sdk-windows\temp\ToolPackage.old01. I am aware of http/https and antivirus issues. So I disactivated my AV. I also closed any application that might hold a handle to the folder. Eclipse is also closed (I start the manager via command line). However I still get the same error. Looks like the only app that can hold a handle to the folder is the manager itself, because its starting directory is the one the error complains about ('\tools'). I am on Win XP Pro + SP3. Does anyone have an idea?

• POST from edit/create partial views loaded into Twitter Bootstrap modal

  I'm struggling with AJAX POST from the form that was loaded into Twitter Bootstrap modal dialog. Partial view form goes like this: @using (Html.BeginForm()) { // fields // ... // submit <input type="submit" value="@ButtonsRes.button_save" /> } Now this is being used in non AJAX editing with classic postbacks. Is it possible to use the same partial for AJAX functionality? Or should I abstract away the inputs into it's own partial view? Like this: @using (Ajax.BeginForm()) { @Html.Partial("~/Views/Shared/ImageEditInputs.cshtml") // but what to do with this one then? <input type="submit" value="@ButtonsRes.button_save" /> } I know how to load this into Bootstrap modal but few changes should be done on the fly: the buttons in Bootstrap modal should be placed in a special container (the modal footer), the AJAX POST should be done when clicking Save which would first, validate the form and keep the modal opened if not valid (display the errors of course) second, post and close the modal if everything went fine in the view that opened the modal, display some feedback information at the top that save was succesful. I'm mostly struggling where to put what JS code.
