    Hi, i'm trying to learn a little bit XSD and I'm trying to create a XSD for this xml: <Document> <TextBox Name="Username" /> <TextBox Name="Password" /> </Document> ... so there's an element, which is an abstract complex type. Every element have elements and so on. Document and TextBox are extending Element.   • Pages load in brower fine, but 404 not found reported for the page during the GET on all pages except index

    I believe this question is more suited to serverfault (please correct me if not). This issue appears very similar to this question (except there are no 301 Moved Permanently for any pages). The domain is yorkshirebadges.co.uk. For example, loading yorkshirebadges.co.uk or yorkshirebadges.co.uk/index.php reports no 404s during network inspection. But every other page (/contact.php, /products.php) report a not found. Mod_rewrite is being used on the site, I checked this out but didn't see any obvious errors. If you think that there'll be a bug with the following order please tell me where. Another thing - I would like to redirect for example www.myweb.com/products.php to www.myweb.com/products/ (I mean that the URL in the address bar will change). I dont know if the redirect can go along with my rewrite rules. Thank you.

In most browsers just checking the parentNode works. if (!node.parentNode) { // this node is not part of a larger document } However, in Internet Explorer it appears that new elements, even right after they've been created with document.createElement() already have a parentNode object (of type DispHTMLDocument??). Any other nice cross-browser and reliable way? Edit: looks like Internet Explorer is implicitly creating a DocumentFragment (with nodeType of 11) and setting that as the node's parentNode property.

    I am looking to replace from a large document all high unicode characters, such as accented Es, left and right quotes, etc., with "normal" counterparts in the low range, such as a regular 'E', and straight quotes. I need to perform this on a very large document rather often.     What is the best way to create a custom document editor in GAE? I'm making a website meant for a School Robotics Club (With support for any other organization - DRY). We currently use Google services for online collaboration, I'm wondering if there is a way to tap into Google Docs and allow users to edit a Google Document without using Google Accounts or the Google Doc interface. If that is not possible (I've researched and I don't think it is), what is the best way to make a document editor? I want it completely on the website I'm creating, so I'm assuming just some javascript editor like TinyMCE + Ajax + Datastore. Is their anything that replicates Google Doc's/Microsoft Offices's/OpenOffice.org's feature set as far as fonts, spacing, alignment, justification, etc.?
