  • keepass not working with wine

    I installed Keepass 1.16 in my thumbdrive, which reportedly works with wine (as per Keepass homepage), but after entering the master password it just hangs and shows the "The program keepass has encountered a serious problem and needs to close" screen. I got this error msg among the stack trace on the terminal: wine: Call from 0x7b844633 to unimplemented function bcrypt.dll.BCryptOpenAlgorithmProvider, aborting On windows, everything runs fine. I'm using wine-1.1.27 on ubuntu 9.04 Any thoughts?

  • Host timeout during file upload/download over SFTP/SSH

    I tried different clients because i thought its client related, but all of them sooner or later disconnect or stop uploading/downloading files, and getting a timeout disconnect. After a reconnect it works again for a bit of time. Really strange cannot figure out the reason. I'm on a mac and the server is a debian VPS! If u need further informations ask please! I appreciate any tips, because i'm kinda stuck!

    Hello, Using Apache with mod_rewrite, when I load a .css or .js file and view the HTTP headers, the Content-type is only set correctly the first time I load it - subsequent refreshes are missing Content-type altogether and it's creating some problems for me. Specifically, gzip is not compressing these files. I can get around this by appending a random query string value to the end of each filename, eg. http://www.site.com/script.js?12345 However, I don't want to have to do that, since caching is good and all I want is for the Content-type to be present. I've tried using a RewriteRule to force the type but still didn't solve the problem. Any ideas?     So I've enabled PHP on my Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard), and it's working great so long as: 1) I place the file in the ~/Sites directory 2) I use the http://localhost/~user/example.php URL instead of the file:///Users/user/Sites/example.php I presume this is because unless both of those conditions are true, Apache is not involved, and thus neither is PHP. So is there any way to remove either of those conditions? (Well, really the latter, because the first is a symptom of the second)

    I'm an Emacs/Mac user trapped on Windows at work and I often type Control-W from muscle memory to delete a word and thus by mistake kill the entire window, including everything that I was working on. This a particularly egregious problem for Console2 as I run GNU Screen and am often doing many things at once. Is there any way to completely disable Control-W or remap it to something that is far harder to type? Thanks!

  • Mavericks not booting after successful installation over Lion (10.7.5)

    On my 2012 MacBook Pro (15 inch, non retina, i7, 10GB RAM) after successful installation when Mavericks tried to boot, it is freezing there with "Still waiting for root device" (Seen Using CMD + V during boot). Someone please help. My Mac is not usable anymore. Boots in safe mode but freezes in safe mode too. From safe mode reinstalled Mavericks but failed again with same error. If it can't be fixed please let me know if it can be reverted.

This is an example of the URL I need to proxy to: http://username:[email protected]/export?uuid=1234567890 The end goal is to allow 1 server present files from another server (the one we're proxying to) without exposing the URI of the proxy server.
