• Saving PHP Table as CSV

  I have been looking everywhere for a way to do this. There are a lot of people that have asked the questions but when I try myself i cant seem to get it to work. Often I get the format correct but it inputs the information into a new page instead of saving it. I did manage to get one to work for google chrome but when i ran it in internet explorer it didnt work. I have a table being created from a MYSQL query and i would like the table to be able to be saved as a CSV. Could anyone help me out?

I am using qualify_to_ref from Symbol module my $ref = qualify_to_ref ( 'myarray', 'Mypackage' ) ; my @array = @$ref ; gives me Not an ARRAY reference at ...... I presume I am getting the format of the dereference wrong. • Creating a JSONRepresentation of my NSDictionary messes up the order?

  Hi all, To pass data to my webservice, I create an NSDictionary with the objects and keys I need, and use JSONRepresentation to format it nicely so I can post it to my service. It all worked fine with the previous version where only 2 parameters were required. An array with listitems, and a UDID. No I also need to pass a version number because we need to provide more data for people with the application at this new version. Only problem is when I create my JSONRepresentation now, the order of things are all messed up. NSMutableDictionary *rowDict = [[NSMutableDictionary alloc] initWithObjectsAndKeys:arrayDict,@"basketListV2",sharedData.udid,@"UDID",@"1.4",@"version",nil]; It prints out version first, then UDID and then basketListV2. Anyone know what I can do to maintain the order of my NSDict? I tried both NSDictionary and NSMutableDictionary (Probably doesn't have to do anything with it but for testing purposes I had to try it.) Thanks in advance. Lewion

• Rails 2.3.5: How to handle this type of validation

  The use case is simple. I allow users to enter in an expiration field which needs to be between 1 and 15 into a form. The model takes that number and converts it into a datetime (such as adding 15 days from today) and stores it in the database. What's the correct way to actually validate that though? Do I validate against the datetime format that gets persisted in the database or the select box (1..15) that the user gets to pick through the form? I want to be able to validate that the user is putting in 1..15.. How is this done with ActiveRecord validation in Rails 2.3.5?

  Im setting up a web form, and I'm trying to have it where visitors can paste their resumes into a text area. Then I want to email the info using php mail(). But the resume info is just stored in the variable as one long string with no formatting. Is there a way I can send the pasted resume text to the client in the resume format? Maintaining all the line breaks and stuff? He wants to avoid having people upload resumes.

What is the proper format to add the comment.id into the table rows? I need the ID from both tables for display, edit and delete further on in the table. The only display I get at this time for "comment.id" is the word id. The Any help would be appreciated.

  I am currently using RedBean version 3.5. I think I would like to move to the latest version of RedBean, version 4. I have found no documentation about upgrade process and have a number of significant questions: Is my RedBean 3.5 database schema compatible 4, or will up have to migrate all of the tables to some new format? Is any of my RedBean 3.5 code compatible with version 4, or wouldI need to rewrite all of my code that uses RedBean 3.5? Would it make more sense to upgrade to Doctrine? As a side note, I am also feeling concerned about RedBean's drop of support for Composer, which I have found to be über helpful in managing the various versions of libraries I am using.

  I have a file in the format: Port Number IP address Port Number IP address (Not sure how the output will be displayed here but let me tell you they are on separate lines) and so on.... I use the command grep -C 1 'port number' file.txt i.e. I want all IP addresses corresponding to a particular port. Making it simple, I want the next line matching a regular expression. Like if my regular expression matches line 2,4 and 6 then I want lines 3, 5 and 7 to be printed. How to do that?

  Hi, We're about to launch a little twitter Christmas competition, and I've run into a little snag. To enter, people will need to post a tweet in the following format: @user blah, blah, blah #hashtag Currently, I have a form where they enter their answer (the blah, blah, blah) and a PHP script which encodes the entire statement and adds on the twitter url: http://www.twitter.com/home?status=%40user%20blah%2Cblah%2Cblah%20%23hashtag Then takes the user to twitter and puts the status in the update field. However, whilst the spaces (%20) are decoded fine the @ and # characters remain as %40 & %23 respectively, even when the tweet is posted. I cannot put the actual characters in the url as twitter mistakes this for a search. Is there any way to solve this? I'd like to do it without requiring username & password etc if possible. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

From x In {1, 2} Select x.ToString() The error given by the compiler is: Range variable name cannot match the name of a member of the 'Object' class. There is nothing wrong with the equivalent C# query, though: from x in new[]{1, 2} select x.ToString() This does not happen with the ToString overload that takes a format (it is a member of Int32, not Object). It does happen with other members of Object, as long as they don't take an argument: with GetType and GetHashCode it fails; with Equals(object) it compiles. Why is this restriction in place, and what alternatives can I use?

  I have few small basic problems : How to format : int i = 456; to give output : ""00000456" ? I've tried %08d but it's not working. Next thing is a problem with conversion and then formatting. I have side and height of triangle, let's say int's 4,7, and 7 is the height. From formula for field we know that F=1/2(a*h). So how to get F as float, with precision up to 10 places ? float f = a*h; works fine, but multiplying it by 0.5 gives error and by 1/2 returns 0.

  So like the title says im starting to learn some python and im having trouble picking up on this technique. What I need to accomplish is to read in some numbers and store them in a list. The text file looks like the following: 0 0 3 50 50 100 4 20 Basically these are coordinates and directions to be used for python's turtle to make shapes. I got that part down the only problem is getting them in a correct format. So what I can not figure out is how to get those numbers from the file into [ [0, 0, 3, 50], [50, 100, 4, 20] ] A list, with each four coordinates being a list in that one big list.   I need to extract the SAME type of information (e.g. First name, Last Name, Telephone, ...), from numerous different text sources (each with a different format & different order of the variables of interest). I want a function that does the extraction based on a regular expression and returns the result as DESCRIPTIVE variables. In other words, instead of returning each match result as submatch[0], submatch[1], submatch[2], ..., have it do EITHER of the following: 1.) return std::map so that the submatches can be accessed via: submatch["first_name"], submatch["last_name"], submatch["telephone"] 2.) return a variables with the submatches so that the submatches can be accessed via: submatch_first_name, submatch_last_name, submatch_telephone I can write a wrapper class around boost::regex to do #1, but I was hoping there would be a built-in or a more elegant way to do this in C++/Boost/STL/C.

  Hello, I have a form which asks the user his or her date of birth. Its a drop down box since I use the select input type. The first drop down has Months, second has Days, the third has the Years. So the format should be Month(October), Day(25), Year(1990). In other words the months spell out the actual month and not simply the number representation of the month. However, I would like to save the Day and Year in their respective formats. How can I do this in phpMyAdmin? Should I use the DATE type? what should the value be? I just need to know how to correlate all of this in phpmyadmin, so I can save it properly. Thank you.

Each bottom of the table (Table Footer), I have something called: "Total: " which is a sum of Total field.   Hello i have a question. in short: i need a function which receives [NSDate date] and string @"2010-11-12" and returns the amount of days between those two dates. more explanation: I need to store a date from a server in the format @"2010-11-12" in my NSUserdefaults. The meaning of this date is the expireDate of a feature in an iPhone App. Everytime i press on a button for this feature i need to check if the difference in days between the current time-[NSDate date] and @"2010-11-12" is greater than 0. That means tahat the feature is disabled. its making me crazy mabey its to dead simple.

• How to make an element slide with the viewport as it scrolls?

  I've Googled for this but must be using the wrong keywords. Basically I want to use the effect that Magento and now Stack Overflow uses. That is, there is an element in a column, and when you scroll down, it sticks to the top of the viewport. And once scrolled up again, it goes back into the normal page flow. This Ask A Question is a good page for example. Scroll down and watch the "How to Format" element come down (might need to make your viewport smaller if you have a large screen to see the effect). I've noticed it is setting position: fixed in the CSS. The JavaScript however is obfuscated. What's the easiest way to achieve this effect? Is there a jQuery plugin available?

• Any way for linq query to check against existing select?

  I have an an offer, that can be in any number of categories. I don't however want that offer to then appear twice or however more. I was wondering if its possible to have a where clause that ascertains whether that offer already exists in that select statement and if so obviously to ignore it.   I currently have data that is in the following format (note, this is 1 column, 4 row matrix): aa|bb bb|cc|ee|ee cc cc|ee and I want it displayed so that the column names are: aa, bb, cc, dd, and ee.   I have created a application in c# , it reads excel file and after checking some conditions, it select a row to be written in another Excel File. Everything is working fine, but i need to end the file with the DateTime.Now.ToString(). string date = DateTime.Now.ToString(); ExcelWorkSheet2.Cells[newFileRow, 1] = date; When I see the file created, it shows "########" symbol instead of actual date. When I select that cell , it changes to correct date format. What may be going wrong?
