• CSS Unwanted padding in IE using floats.

  It's been a long day of designing and I ran into a problem today. The website www.dcninc.com/newtest/security_testing.php is a new design I'm working on at work right now. If you view it in Firefox you will notice there is no padding on the 2 right boxes (I did that on purpose to trouble shoot my problem) However if you view that same page in IE, it adds padding to the right side. • Is the W3 standard a major factor when google decides SERP position?

  I have a dynamic php website which index only has around 800 errors according to the w3 validator online. I have tried checking major websites like ebay, stackoverflow and others also, all with around 400 errors. So my first thought is, what good is that validator when it always displays errors? Secondly, will the errors affect my SERP ranking? ie, will me fixing these errors as good as I can increase my Google search position? Thanks

  I recently just changed my domain destination from the root (./) to (./Permias). Before I just did a website copy from visual studio to ./. So after changing my domain destination to ./Permias, I moved everything inside the Permias folder. But now when I tried to access the site it is as it's not there. What am I doing wrong? Now I've got content underneath these Divs but I can't highlight/click on the links because these empty Divs are blocking it.
