  I'm using the LINQ Driver for C#, works great. Sorting a lot of properties but heres a problem I can't solve, its probebly simple. var identifierList = new []{"10", "20", "30"}; var newList = list.Where(x => identifierList.Contains(x.Identifier)); This is NOT supported ... So I could do something like: var newList = list.Where(x => x.Identifier == "10" || x.Identifier == "20" || x.Identifier == "30"); But since the list is variable ... how do I construct the above? Or are there even better alternatives? The list is of type IQueryable<MyCustomClass> For information ... this is used as a filter of alot of properties. In SQL I could have a parent - child relationship. But as I can't as the parent for the main ID I need to take all the ID's out and then construct it like this. Hopes this makes sense. If needed I will explain more.

• MDX: Filtering a member set by a measure's table values

  I have some numbers in a fact table, and have generated a measure which use the SUM aggregator to summarize the numbers. But the problem is that I only want to sum the numbers that are higher than, say 10. I tried using a generic expression in the measure definition, and that works of course, but the problem is that I need to be able to dynamically set that value, because it's not always 10, meaning users should be able to select it themselves.   I am trying to copy a file to another folder in the android, but so far, i got no success. I manage to do so with a selected image and when taking a photo, but not with files. I've read and tried several solutions passed by the community (searched over the forum and the internet), but none of it was able to solve my problem when copying. First things first. I added the permissions to my manifest: <uses-permission android:name="android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE" /> <uses-permission android:name="android.permission.READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE" /> after that, before copying a file, i print its filepath and the directory file path: 06-10 11:11:11.700: I/System.out(1442): /mimetype/storage/sdcard/Misc/Javascript erros for Submit and Plan buttons in IE.doc 06-10 11:11:11.710: I/System.out(1442): /storage/sdcard/mywfm/checklist-files both exists: to copy the file to the expected folder I used the FileUtils: try { FileUtils.copyFile(selectedFile, dir); } catch (IOException e) { // TODO Auto-generated catch block e.printStackTrace(); } The problem is: I get no exception and the file isn't there. • Moving x,y position of all array objects every frame in actionscript 3?

  I have my code setup so that I have an movieclip in my library a class called "block" being duplicated multiple times and added into an array like this: function makeblock(e:Event){ newblock=new block; newblock.x=10; newblock.y=10; addChild(newblock); myarray[counter] = newblock; //adds a newblock object into array counter += 1; } Then I have a loop with a currently primitive way of handling my problem: stage.addEventListener(Event.ENTER_FRAME, gameloop); function gameloop(evt:Event):void { if (moveright==true){ myarray[0].x += 5; myarray[1].x += 5; myarray[2].x += 5 -(and so on)- My question is how can I change x,y values every frame for new objects duplicated into the array, along with the previous ones that were added. Of course with a more elegant way than writing it out myself... array[0].x += 5, array[1], array[2], array[3] etc. Ideally I would like this to go up to 500 or more array objects for one array so obviously I don't want to be writing it out individually haha, I also need it to be consistent with performance so using a for loop or something to loop through the whole array and move each x += 5 wouldn't work would it? Anyway, if anyone has any ideas that'd be great!

  I'm trying to use the creative gesture camera in Processing. I started with the Intel Perceptual Computing SDK, and ran into an issue. I want to get the hand openness, and I am running into some issues - no matter what, the hand.openness returns 0. It otherwise runs quite well...   table1 - id, time_stamp, value This table consists of 10 id's. Each id would be having a value for each hour in a day. So for 1 day, there would be 240 records in this table. table2 - id Table2 consists of a dynamically changing subset of id's present in table1. At a particular instance, the intention is to get sum(value) from table1, considering id's only in table2, grouping by each hour in that day, giving the summarized values a rank and repeating this each day. the query is at this stage: select time_stamp, sum(value), rank() over (partition by trunc(time_stamp) order by sum(value) desc) rn from table1 where exists (select t2.id from table2 t2 where id=t2.id) and time_stamp >= to_date('05/04/2010 00','dd/mm/yyyy hh24') and time_stamp <= to_date('25/04/2010 23','dd/mm/yyyy hh24') group by time_stamp order by time_stamp asc If the query is correct, can this be made more efficient, considering that, table1 will actually consist of thousand's of id's instead of 10 ? EDIT: I am using sum(value) 2 times in the query, which I am not able to get a workaround such that the sum() is done only once. Pls help on this

I declared the prototype function above with two parameters to take, one a reference of an integer and one just an integer value itself. I passed the reference of the int (see line 10), yet this error keeps being thrown at me. What is the issue?

So if the ID is same it just go to next row in the same column. However if id is changed it goes to next column and rows start. • AS3 colorTransform over multiple frames?

  (Flash Professional, AS3) I'm working on a custom avatar system where you can select various festures and colors. For example, I have 10 hairstyles, and a colorPicker to change the color. mc_myAvatar has 10 frames. Each frame has a movieclip of a different hairstyle (HairStyle1, HairStyle2, etc.) Here's my code: var hairColor:ColorTransform; hairColor = mc_myAvatar.hair.colorLayer.transform.colorTransform; hairColor.color = 0xCCCC00; mc_myAvatar.hair.colorLayer.transform.colorTransform = hairColor; This correctly changes the initial color. I have a "nextHair" button to advance mc_myAvatar.hair to the next frame. When I click the button, I get an error message saying that I have a null object reference. I added a trace, and mc_myAvatar.hair.colorLayer is null on frame 2. Why??? I've clearly named HairStyle2 as "colorLayer" in frame 2. I think the problem is related to me using the same name for different classes/movieclips, but I don't know how to fix the problem... I added a square movieclip below my hairStyle movieclips, named the square "colorLevel", and deleted the name from my hairStyle clips. When I click the next button, the square correctly maintains the color from frame to frame. However, having a square doesn't do me much good. :( I tried converting the hairStyle layer to a mask. Doing this, however, results in yet another "null object" error - mc_myAvatar.hair.colorLayer is null after frame 1. I even tried "spanning" my colorLevel across all frames (no keyframes), thinking that this would give me just one movieclip to work with. No luck. Same error! What's going on, here? Why am I getting these null objects, when they are clearly defined in my movieclip? I'm also open to suggestions on a better way to do multiple frames and colors.
