• How do I set TargetNullValue to a date?

  I'm using the WPF toolkit's Calendar control to allow users to select a date. If the date is not yet selected then the property the SelectedDate is bound to is Null. This makes the Calendar default you January 1, 0 AD. I'd like to do something like SelectedDate="{Binding UserPickedDate, TargetNullValue=Today, Mode=TwoWay}" But both "Today" and "Now" throw binding errors. Can I use TargetNullValue to set the default date to Today or Now?

  I have a messages line this: message 1 answer 1.1 answer 1.1.1 answer 1.2 answer 1.3 massage 2 ... and I have the line in my .gnus.el: (global-set-key [f9] (lambda () (interactive) (gnus-summary-lower-score-by-subj-substr-temp))) When I select "message 1" and press F9 next lines: message1 answer 1.1 answer 1.1.1 answer 1.2 answer 1.3 change the score. But I need the selection move to next message (message 2) when I press F9. How can I get it?

  Is there a way to keep 2 sequences synchronized in Postgres? I mean if I have: table_A_id_seq = 1 table_B_id_seq = 1 if I execute SELECT nextval('table_A_id_seq'::regclass) I want that table_B_id_seq takes the same value of table_A_id_seq and obviously it must be the same on the other side. I need 2 different sequences because I have to hack some constraints I have in Django (and that I cannot solve there).

• Safari extensions: style of selectbox like safari's bookmark folders

  Hey guys, I'm developing an extension for Safari 5 at the moment. In my extension, I use an additional toolbar, with selectboxes in it. Now, it would be great to style these like the folders in the bookmarks toolbar look. I know that it would be possible to replace my select with a completely styleable ul-list or somethin like that, but maybe there is a simpler solution.   One of my Django sites is missing the Django Admin Action bar shown here: http://docs.djangoproject.com/en/dev/ref/contrib/admin/actions/#ref-contrib-admin-actions There is no checkbox next to each row and no Action select box near the top of the page. This is happening on every model. I have several sites running Django 1.1, and they all show the Admin Actions, so it feels like a local configuration issue. Anyone seen this before?

I now realized that this happens, when I save back the content of the itemRenderer to the dataProvider. If I code this part out, the dataGrid works as expected...   I am doing an iPad imaging app and I am considering UIPopoverController as my workhorse user interface element. The user will spend most of their time immersed in fullscreen content (in both portrait and landscape). When the user wants to select a different piece of content I want to use UIPopoverController to handle that. Is it appropriate to embed a tableViewController in a UIPopoverController to allow in-place scrolling or am I abusing the intended use of UIPopoverController? Thanks, Doug

My question is: Is there an easy and elegant way to update the data similar to personInstance.properties = params or do I have to read out all the fields, deleting removed, updating changed and adding new ones?
