  • Can the Microsoft Paint Edit Colors Dialog be supplemented?

    I have written a WinForms application that presents a color picker, limited to the known colors. My environment is Visual Studio C# Express 2008, C#, and Framework 2.0. Currently the MS Paint Colors menu item only presents an Edit Colors dialog. I would like to supplement that by causing the Colors menu item to display both "Edit Colors" and "Edit Known Colors". Can I accomplish this? If so, please provide a citation (or code if preferrred).

    Would having a nice little feature that makes it quicker to write code like Automatic Properties fit very nicely with the mantra of VB.NET? Something like this would work perfect: Public Property FirstName() As String Get Set End Property UPDATE: VB.NET 10 (coming with Visual Studio 2010 and .NET 4.0) will have Automatic Properties. I need it to allow me to edit xsd files to help in writting an xml-based language specification. I need it to be visual to help with the design, making it clear. Since they are a somewhat distributed team, though, all of the issue management / work management must be done via an electronic tool (we currently use Trac).     Hi there, Just built myself a mvvmlight app and if i press f5 TO COMPILE and run all works ok, it displays the wpf window but if i do a BUILD i get an error Error 1 The target "RunCodeAnalysis" does not exist in the project. I am using the visual studio 2010 professional version RTM The only thing i see strange is the target framework which is set to .NET framework 4 client profile Anybody know why this happens??

  • Sql Server Select Command and too much data sent to winforms application

    When you have an application and send a select command, the sql server gathers all the data and sends them back to your application and fills your datagrid (for example) If you performed the same select command in sql management studio, immediately as the query starts running and finding data the results panel would start filling with the data found. How can I do that for my winforms application? Is there a technique or a standard method of doing something like this? Links to good examples would be an immense help. thanks

It's easy to schedule automated check-in's into svn from a folder, but scheduling the export from SQL in SQL Management Studio is Right click target database, choose Tasks Generate Scripts. Follow the wizard and presto you've got scripts in a folder. Is it possible to extract a single script that the wizard generates, and stuff that into a stored proc which I can run nightly? Ideas?
