• How can I create dynamically updated views in a tab bar view, based on settings selection?

  Hi all, Noob question.... I've created a Tab Bar application. It has four tabs and works fine. Each view is created with a XIB and is effectively static. Each view takes user input and responds on screen. What I need to be able to do is change the input options the user have - in effect remove some UITextFields dependant upon which option the user selects in settings. I've created root.plist and created settings no problem i've also created additional XIBS for the altered UI, but what I don't know how to do, is call these into the tab view controller on demand. Effectively tab one has 3 possible views, tab two 3 possible views etc. But I only want the one that's relevant for the users settings selction to be displayed? Make sense? For reference, if we call the different views - UIInputViewA1, ...A2,....A3 UIInputViewB1,....B2....B3 etc. Hope someone can help, been trawling the net for nights trying to get my head round this. Beggining iPhone Development Bible doesn't help either. If you need any more info, please shout. Cheers Paul.

  I am a bit confused by this behavior (using python 3.2): class Bar: pass class Foo: def __init__(self): self.__cache = None bar = Bar() bar.__cache = None foo = Foo() print(vars(bar)) #returns {'__cache': None} print(vars(foo)) #returns {'_Foo__cache': None} I've read up a bit on how double-underscores cause attribute names to be "mangled", but I would have expected the same name-mangling in both cases above. • No OpenCL devices (13.10 Core I5 4430 Intel Graphics HD)

  I've been looking quite a lot for this but couldn't find anything that worked. I have an Intel Core I5-4430 based system with no extra graphics adapter (so it's using the on-board, integrated Intel Graphics HD that is part of the CPU), running Ubuntu 13.10. When running BOINC World Community Grid it says "No usable GPUs". When running a bitcoin mining program it says "No OpenCL devices". I searched the web, found two possible solutions - one was to use the Intel OpenCL driver for Xeon platforms, the other was to use the AMD driver. Tried both. I failed installing the Intel driver as there were too many prerequisites that I just didn't manage to install, and the AMD installation was quite fast to its size (it's 200MB, and took far less than a minute to install), but it didn't solve the problem. Perhaps I'm looking in the wrong direction here, I'm not sure, but is there anyway I can utilize the advance features of my CPU for those distributed computation programs?

  Hello, I have a Makefile.am file right now that looks like this: lib_LIBRARIES = foo.a foo_a_SOURCES = bar.F90 baz.F90 When compiled, bar.F90 gives bar.o. However, bar.F90 depends on several other Fortran files (cat.F90, dog.F90, pig.F90). I want to set up Automake to rebuild bar.o if the source of one of these dependencies change. I've been reading the GNU manuals for automake/autoconf and was unable to find a solution to this. Thanks for reading.

  Hey, I'm trying to redirect something like foo/bar to ?foo=bar, so I can do www.mydomain.com/hey/foo/bar to www.mydomain.com/hey/?foo=bar, but I can't seem to get the syntax right. I tried the following: RewriteEngine on RewriteRule ^foo/(.*)$ ?foo=bar [NC] But this doesn't work. How would I accomplish this? I tried adding a forward slash behind the question mark, but that makes it link to the root directory. Thanks, Jengerer

  Example of current file structure: example.com/foo.php example.com/bar.html example.com/directory/ example.com/directory/foo.php example.com/directory/bar.html example.com/cgi-bin/directory/foo.cgi I would like to remove HTML, PHP and CGI extensions from, and then force the trailing slash at the end of URLs. So, it could look like this: example.com/foo/ example.com/bar/ example.com/directory/ example.com/directory/foo/ example.com/directory/bar/ example.com/cgi-bin/directory/foo/ I am very frustrated because I've searched for 17 hours straight for solution and visited more than a few hundred pages on various blogs and forums. I'm not joking. So I think I've done my research. Here is the code that sits in my .htaccess file right now: RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME}\.html -f RewriteRule ^(([^/]+/)*[^./]+)/$ $1.html RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !(\.[a-zA-Z0-9]|/)$ RewriteRule (.*)$ /$1/ [R=301,L] As you can see, this code only removes .html (and I'm not very happy with it because I think it could be done a lot simpler). I can remove the extension from PHP files when I rename them to .html through .htaccess, but that's not what I want. I want to remove it straight. This is the first thing I don't know how to do. The second thing is actually very annoying. My .htaccess file with code above, adds .html/ to every string entered after example.com/directory/foo/. So if I enter example.com/directory/foo/bar (obviously /bar doesn't exist since foo is a file), instead of just displaying message that page is not found, it converts it to example.com/directory/foo/bar.html/, then searches for a file for a few seconds and then displays the not found message. This, of course, is bad behavior. So, once again, I need the code in .htaccess to do the following things: Remove .html extension Remove .php extension Remove .cgi extension Force the trailing slash at the end of URLs Requests should behave correctly (no adding trailing slashes or extensions to strings if file or directory doesn't exist on server) Code should be as simple as possible I would very much appreciate any help.   The Search Bar in Firefox is very useful for finding additional information or images while browsing but the UI space it takes up can be frustrating at times. Now you can reclaim that UI space and still have access to all that searching goodness with the Foobar extension. Note: This is about the Foobar Firefox extension and not to be confused with Foobar2000 the open source music player. Before If you have the “Search Bar” displayed there is no doubt that it is taking up valuable space in your browser’s UI. What you need is the ability to reclaim that UI space and still have the same access to your search capability as before…no more sacrificing one for a gain with the other. After As soon as you have installed the extension you can see that the top part of your browser will look much sleeker without the “Search Bar” to clutter it up. The “Search Engine Icon” will now be visible inside of your “Address Bar” as seen here. You will be able to access the same “Search Engine Menu” as before by clicking on the “Search Engine Icon”. There are two display modes for search results (setting available in the “Options”). The first one shown here is “Simple Mode” where all results are in a condensed format. Notice that not only are there search suggestions but also “Bookmarks & History” listings as well. You can literally get the best of both when conducting a search. Note: The number of entries for search suggestions and bookmark/history listings can be adjusted higher or lower in the “Options”. The second one is “Rich Mode” where the results are shown with more details. Choose the “mode” that best suits your personal style. For our first example you can see the results when we conducted a quick search on “Windows 7” (using the first of the three offerings shown from Bing). Our second example was a search for “Flowers” using our Photobucket search engine. Once again nice results opened in a new tab for us. Options The options are easy to go through. Conclusion If you love using the “Search Bar” in Firefox but want to reclaim the UI space then you will definitely want to add this extension to your browser.   With default parameters introduced in C# 4.0 one might be tempted to abandon the old approach of providing method overloads to simulate default parameters. However, you must take in consideration that both techniques are not interchangeable since they show different behaviors in certain scenarios. For me the most relevant difference is that default parameters are a compile time feature while method overloading is a runtime feature. To illustrate these concepts let’s take a look at a complete, although a bit long, example. The use of default parameters is also discouraged by Microsoft in public API’s as stated in (CA1026: Default parameters should not be used) code analysis rule.

I have a web-app that runs on one server under two different IPs and domain names, on both HTTP and HTTPS for each: <VirtualHost *:80> ServerName foo.org ServerAlias www.foo.org ... </VirtualHost> <VirtualHost 1.2.3.4:443> ServerName foo.org ServerAlias www.foo.org </VirtualHost> <VirtualHost *:80> ServerName bar.org ServerAlias www.bar.org ... </VirtualHost> <VirtualHost 2.3.4.5:443> ServerName bar.org ServerAlias www.bar.org </VirtualHost> I'm using GMail as my SMTP server. Do I need the reverse PTR and SenderID records? If so, do I put the same ones on all of my records (foo.org, www.foo.org, bar.org, www.bar.org, ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM, ASPMX2.GOOGLEMAIL.COM, ..)? I'm pretty sure I want the domain-keys records, but I'm not sure which domains to attach them to. The Google mail servers? foo.org and bar.org? Everything?
